Cons: The lounge is a bit far from the departure gate, so I waited with regular economy class travelers. It would have been nice to have had a closer dedicated area for business class.

Cons: At Mumbai airport, during check-in I was told that my carry on bag plus personal item together should weigh not more than 7kgs!! I have never had any airline actually weigh my personal item (laptop backpack) before this journey. Eventually I ended up stuffing my check-in bags with everything I was carrying in my carry on bag before I was allowed to check in. The weird thing is, I was never told about this rule on my journey from the US to India.

Pros: I really like the Qatar flight from Auckland to Manchester. But beware now that the Akl leg leaves 1 hour later the transit in Doha is officially 1.15hr. But since the first leg is always getting in and you have to bus to the terminal, transit time is about 30 mins. Although they are efficient and i made it this time, i wouldn't want to do this with kids.

Cons: Didn't like the fact that I was never notified through email that the flight was from a different , newer airport in Islamabad. Originally my booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but on the day of flight when I went to that airport , it was totally closed for operations and flights. And I asked people in the street e.g taxi drivers etc which airport my flight could be from. They told me that a new airport in Islamabad had become operational and my flight could be from the newer airport. I went to the new airport but I was late for boarding because my time was wasted in going first to the Benazir International Airport and then rerouting to the new airport. Fortunately the fight from Islamabad to Qatar was delayed and I was able to make it to the boarding and flew from Islamabad to Doha.

Cons: Even though we landed in Doha before our connection left ( barely-20 min)on Qatar airways, they would not hold the connecting flight for the 7 of us who were connecting. This was extremely disappointing as we then lost a full 8 hours of our first day arrival. If they schedule you for a 45 minute connecting flight, I suggest you book a later one. Our flight from NYC left on time but was 20 min late landing. Their only compensation to us all was use of the airport lounge in Doha ( quite nice with free food wine and showers, but would rather have had the extra day in Bali.

Pros: I haven't flown with Qatar for several years, but my memories of an exceptional experience were replicated. Fantastic modern aircraft, brilliant crew and great food.
Cons: Only one minor gripe, the passengers seated behind me talked incessantly, making my attempts to sleep impossible. I asked if there were any ear plugs available, but none could be found. My own fault, I should have packed my own.

Cons: I was put on another flight eight hours later even though I had already checked in. I actually traveled with Cathay Pacific.

Pros: I was surprised with the quality of gluten free meals served for me, it was well organised and taken care of where I never had to wait. My flight schedules were changed few days before departure by Qatar Airways, but only thing I had to do was to confirm that I have noted, my seats and all the rest of details intact, excellent.

Cons: One of bags was missing and I came to know this only after waiting until the last bag. The staff knew that my bag did not make it out of Doha. It would have been nice if I was informed as soon as I landed so I did not have to wait for an hour unnecessarily. And the paperwork to report the missing baggage was totally Chaotic. Whoever barged to the counter and was aggressive got priority and taking down the details and giving us a receipt. This is probably my 5 or 6 flight in Qatar and it seems that you guys are slipping up as Emirates had done. Hope you don't.

Cons: Although the very well crafted advertisement for Qatar at beginning of watching each movie is partially beautiful, I personally find it a bit offensive as a woman the clear emphasis on "my son, this watch and all that is mine will be yours", my daughter, your highest moment will be to get married. My disturbance with what I experience as sexist, worsened each time I saw this. Luckily I learnt how to fast forward, but the sexism of this left me disturbed. so although in reality much of your service is excellent, this advertising of a sexist world view was too disturbing to ignore. I hope my comments are helpful to you in considering that many women in the world now expect their fathers to consider passing on a fair share of their resources to their daughters as well.

Cons: We sat on tarmac for 3 hours with no explanation from the crew or cockpit. Because of the delay, everyone missed their connections in Doha. The crews could have jet a couple of the flights a little longer for people to make their flights. The desk was filled with people and was very chaotic. There were so many people working there but no one could give you a straight answer so it was very confusing. I had to wait at the airport for 4 hours to get it sorted and was given a food voucher for $50 for the entire stop over. I asked about a flight voucher and they laughed and said they didn't do that even though they were the ones at fault. The crew was nice and the food was good but I will never fly quatar airways unless they remedy the situation.

Seats are way too close together for a long haul...person's tray in front of me was in my face the entire trip and she didn't bother inclining throughout so had to eat my meals like a contortionist. Cramming more seats into a finite space seems to be what all airlines are doing these days. This of us whom are above average in height are forced to insure a more painful and uncomfortable flight as a result.

Cons: is it true that Qatar treats the passengers coming to US differently than the passengers going out of US. I noticed that the crew was giving menu cards for dinner when coming back to US. Food quality is very ad, quantity is small also. same story with snacks. they don't offer enough food overall. The crew should be trained better for int'l passengers.

The seat pitch was just so uncomfortably short so much so that when the person in front of me reclined his seat, the TV screen was a mere 1-2 feet away from my face making it impossible to watch anything without getting crossed eyed or a headache. This unfortunate situation has influenced this review greatly particularly because this wasn’t a 2 hour flight but a long haul one.

Pros: After having read Swiss Airline reviews I was prepared for a difficult and uncomfortable trip from BOS to ZUR. I was pleasantly surprised to the kindness and comfort I found in the economy class of Swiss Airline. Bags were checked in, flight was timely and legroom was satisfactory. I would highly recommended Swiss Airline due to my overall experience.

Despite 5 calls to Swiss to reroute me out of Montreal, an airport I could actually get to, they would not relent. I finally just drove there and a really nice agent changed my flight since Logan was closed and all public transport was shut down. Even if my scheduled flight from boston wasn't canceled (I have no idea) they were incredibly unhelpful about the fact that I physically could not get to logan in time for my flight. (Mass DOT was asking everyone to stay off ALL roads). THEN on the way home, they would NOT let me fly back to Montreal where my car was!! WAY TOO RIGID RULES. Screw the customer!

I already got the ticket and paid extra luggage- what is the extra charge for?? The lady at extra luggage tried to overcharge me as well! Had to refer her to your website! I need this excess charges reversed. I demand an explanation!

Cons: I liked everything except the airplane itself, which I hated. I was fortunate enough to get an exit row on my long flight going over; I did not get lucky on my way home. The flights between Zurich and Brindisi were more comfortable than the long haul flights. The long haul flights are abominable and should be outlawed by governments as they are currently configured. The boy next to me literally could not fit his legs/thigh bones in the space provided by his seat. I did okay as I am not tall, until the woman in front of me decided to lean back. It is not her fault, however, though I thought nasty things about her and periodically tried to dig my knees into her back to get her to lift up her seat. The fault belongs entirely to Swiss Air, which chooses to treat human customers as steerage. The only thing that made the experience worse was the impossibility of choosing my seat online for my return because I had only a smart phone with not-great wifi available. Choosing one's seat should not be dependent on having good wifi and a computer, however. It is bad practice to "sell" seat choices. The families around me were not able to sit together because of this shoddy, greedy practice on the part of the airline. It is also not fair, subsequently, that other passengers are faced with giving up the seats they've chosen, or been given, to assist families in sitting together. Honestly, the extent of the greed on the part of airlines nowadays is astonishing. What used to be a thoroughly enjoyable way of traveling has become an ordeal at best.

Pros: Nothing! It was the first day of our honeymoon, and it was ruined by Swiss.
Cons: This (attempted) flight was like living a nightmare. The aircraft had a problem with the A/C, so we sat in the extremely hot aircraft on the tarmac for 2 hours while they tried to fix the problem. Then, when we were finally told that the aircraft could not fly, the Swiss staff said that we were "not allowed" to leave the aircraft. After stressed passengers confronted the crew demanding to be let off the aircraft, we went back into the terminal to wait for hours in line as just two Swiss staff filled out hotel vouchers by hand for over 200 passengers. Adding insult to injury, we were then told to wait for a hotel shuttle at the curb, despite the fact that the shuttle had stopped running hours earlier at midnight. I didn't fly to Switzerland until the next day, losing hundreds of dollars on a missed hotel stay in Zurich, and travel plans. And it was an awful start to my honeymoon. The way the Swiss staff treated us was unconscionable and insulting. They have not responded to my several written complaints, so maybe Kayak can help!!!

Cons: The seats were too small, and the food wasn't good enough, especially the 'salad' which consisted of some moderately old browned lettuce with no tomatoes. Happened on my flight back as well. The one time when I thought the staff faltered was when I hit the paige attendant button, and noone came for 25 mins. I ended up walking to the back of the plane and asking for water myself. I also thought some of the materials used in the plane were cheap, like the foldout tables on the back of the seat, the pillow covers, and the headphones (one of which broke midway). The headphones don't cover the noise of the jet in flight very well.

Cons: Terrible service. Crew was unfriendly and unhelpful. There seems to be an element of arrogance when flying with this airlines.

Pros: On every flight I have ever been on, if I request it I can get a whole water bottle vs. the small cups offered...however on this flight they refused saying 'it is against the rules"?? As a result I had to bother the flight crew over 10 times to refill my small glass...a huge inconvenience for both of us. The other inconvenience (one I have not experienced in over 5-6 years) was the the headphone jacks were the old fashioned kind...meaning you could not use your own, and the buds given by the airline were very uncomfortable.

Cons: The agent at the check-in had no clue what he was doing. He had to ask his neighboring agents a dozen questions to check us in (4 passengers, 3 bags and 2 car seats). On top of that, his whole demeanor was condescending, treating us as if we had never flown an airplane before. We are big are traveling light, so we had 2 small suitcases, small enough that we never have to check them in for the US domestic flights. I asked the check-in agent if the small ones were needed to be checked in or if they could be taken as carry-ons. He made a big deal that they were too big and had to be checked in. But when we boarded the plane, we saw that about a quarter of the carry-on bags in the plane were as big as our small suitcases! We were in row 30+. The leg room was the narrowest I have had in all international flights I flew in. Having longer than average legs, it was pure torture for the duration of the overnight flight. The best part of the dinner they served was the croissant - that should give you an idea. I don't think I would voluntarily choose Swiss Air again.

Pros: boarded from rear of plane forwards, which made boarding go more smoothly. Very efficient and fast flight attendants. Food Ok: Vegetarian was one of two standard options. Included a few nice touches like warm crossants.
Cons: So little elbow room in center aisle that it was quite challenging to eat meals. Not enough lavatories, so they were in continual use, preventing any chance of rest. We were 3 aisles away in darkened cabin, but the flashes of light bright enough to read by and loud CLACKS of door latch when the door opened & closed kept us up the whole flight.

Pros: Everything. I have been Flying Swiss for 10 years back and forth to Europe, must be over 25 flights I have taken with them. I think there has only been ONE delay in all those flights, and that was because of bad weather. I feel safe on every flight I take with them, they are sticklers for safety regulations and always get out on time! The planes are always clean. The flight attendants are always making sure you are ok, without bothering you too much! I wish they flew US domestic flights! I would never fly any other airline!
Cons: not much leg room, but that is typical on ALL planes... just the nature of the beast. Nothing more negative to say about Swiss... every other airline should take a lesson from them. I said "good" for teh food because it's airline food... as far as that goes Swiss is ok... I never like airline food anyway, and you get on eh plane at 9:00pm, who wants to eat dinner at that time anyway??

Cons: The crew at checkin we’re pretty awful. They were rude and not very helpful. I witnessed 3 customers have poor service in front of me and then they weren’t helpful with me either. The plane changed and I had paid for a seat and I lost my money and the seat I paid for and was never notified.

Cons: After 2 hour delay, the flight was cancelled. NO ONE helped to find another flight. After waiting in line for 2 hours, the ticket agent handed me a card and said I had to call the 800 number. The person on the phone said I had to talk to ticket agent to go standby on a flight to Munich and the ticket agent told me I had to call. I was caught in a loop and no one helped. Then when it became apparent I wasn't getting out that night I was informed that there were no hotel vouchers and I would have to find my own hotel! After searching for an hour for a hotel (all were sold out in Boston) I called a friend who lives outside of Boston. No one gave me a taxi voucher because it was not to a hotel. LUFTHANSA customer service is the WORST!!!!!!!!

Cons: Most unengaged, bored crew. They were simply going through the motions. I had a seat mate who stood in the aisle over my head for over 3 hours. Each time anyone walked down the aisle-/including a crew member-/ she would bang my head, lean against me and even though I asked nicely that she sit down or go to the back since it was 3 am and I was trying to sleep, she wanted to stand near her husband in the row ahead of me. And the crew never said a word.

Pros: The flight was fine. However, because of a potential snow storm in Boston for 3/21, the flight with Lufthansa was cancelled. We were switched to TAP Portugal for the 22nd. When we arrived at Logan airport, we were told by TAP the flight is overbooked, but there is a chance we will get seats. We did get seats at the last moment, always kept abreast by TAP representatives. The flight was a non-stop flight, leaving at 6 PM arriving by 6 AM, far better than the connections with changes the day before.

Cons: We flew economy so didn’t expect much, but these seats were VERY narrow. I usually will tuck my legs up on the seat to sleep. No way, this seat was simply hip width. No room to shift from side to side.

Pros: On time, punctual and efficient. Just what I would expect from Lufthansa.
Cons: This was a 747, but in economy they've configured it with newer 10 across rows like they do on the new Dreamliner, which I hate. These new seats are much narrower in width (not ideal, but fair enough, the airline wants to maximise capacity) and much harder to sit on for a long haul flight (much less ideal, after a couple hours, the seats were just plain uncomfortable, by the end of the flight really unbearable). The food (pasta) was not particularly good and not to the usual standard I expected for Lufthansa. Staff were efficient, but not particularly friendly. To be honest, I've had better flights in terms of comfort on the likes of Ryanair and Thomas Cook.

Cons: As I checked in for the flight around 10 am on Saturday my ck in was "finished" because our pass ports were due to expire in April. We were not allowed to board our flight and the passport office is closed until Tuesday. As a result we lost $700 dollars to the hotel booked and Lufthansa may not reimburse us for the flights which were over $2000. Absolutely horrible service, no help. My largest complaint is that I was unable to sleep a wink on the overnight flight due to the excessive heat in the plane. In my experience decent airlines provide their guests with air conditioning so that they can breathe and rest easy. I was absolutely miserable thanks to the heat.

But these are small things, overall a very good flight, I will definitely fly again with them. I watched a couple of movies released this year that I wanted to see. Good job Lufthansa!

For a flight leaving at 8:30 pm and arriving at 10 AM, I would think breakfast, not dinner, would get the emphasis. Did get some free wine with dinner.

They did not notify us about any changes and when we arrived at the airport the lady at the counter told us we don't have a reservation even though justfly happily took our money. If it weren't for the BA staff who rebooked is through Air France we probably wouldn't have made it.

Cons: I had a flight from Atlanta to London with a connection flight to fly to Istanbul. The first flight was fine and smooth but the second was just terrible. Upon buying and resorting to British Airwaya, it wasn't mentioned anywhere that the second flight plans do not offer complimentary soft drinks or snacks for the three hour flight after a 6 hour layover. Assuming my flight was going to feed, I didn't eat a whole lot at the airport so I didn't have to spend too much money. I declined the cart the first go around and didn't seem any too interested or sure what some of the options were. I lasted as long as I could and gave in and pulled out my credit card (not accepting cash is another disappointment because my Turkish bank account was charged by pounds) but there was nothing but one choice left and it didn't sit well in my stomach.

Cons: overhead storage was inadequate. People were allowed to carry on bags to large to fit the overhead bins correctly.

Cons: Had a horrible time reserving a seat ( willing to pay) because the confirmation number changed and I was not informed. Took several calls to BA, a trip to the airport and an act of god to finally mange it. Was very stressful.

WTF?!

Pros: Check-in Ticket printed by BA staff at the airport had the wrong gate number so I was sat in the wrong part of the terminal until I got suspicious and double checked the screens to find my flight had started boarding elsewhere. Entertainment system had a screen from the mobile phone you owned more than a decade ago. Breakfast was a Kellogg's chew bar. Staff onboard were excellent.

Cons: I was not let onto the flight as my passport was expiring in less than 3 months and the EU has restrictions against this. My disappointment stems from the fact that I was not given any warning that this was a concern before I arrived at the airport. So, I was unable to use the ticket and have been subsequently told that I cannot be refunded for any part of the ticket. As a consequence, I will not be using Finnair again at any point in the future.

Cons: they have removed the eye mask and toothbrush from the long-haul night life kit. Also the new seat have different headrests, that don't bend

Never happens when I book directly at - so clearly, they penalize people who book through an airfare wholesale site. Moreover when i protested the customer service agent mocked me for not realizing it was a 'weather related incident'. I spent the night on the floor on YYC. Cons: The USB port in seat 26A was pushed in and wouldn't connect for power. Unless this was exactly the same plane it was true on both flight to and return from Boston. The LCD entertainment system is very slow to respond to touch. The default sound level is always too loud. The commercials take up the first 10 minutes (or longer) of the experience and make for an excruciating long wait.

Cons: The flight had two legs: from Boston to Toronto and from Toronto to New Delhi. The layover was 1 hr 6 min, which was tight. After checking in our bags, we found out that the first leg of our flight is 2 hours late, so obviously we couldn't take the second flight. Looking at the TV monitors, I noticed that pretty much ALL Air Canada flights are seriously delayed. Luckily, there was an earlier flight to Toronto (which was scheduled to have already left, but it did not leave because that was delayed, too). The staff put us on that flight and double promised to make sure that our checked in baggage gets transferred to this alternate flight. The checked bags did not get transferred. When we arrived at Delhi, after an exasperating 1.5 hour delay after a 20 hour flight, the airline told us, and many others in the same situation, that our baggage did not arrive, and we have to come the next day to pick them up. The issue was, we were not staying in Delhi, just transiting through it. No luck, the airline said, because the customs have to be cleared at the port of entry. We are still waiting for our baggage. Oh, and if that was not enough, the airline allocated well separated seats for all the members of our family. I'd think it would be a common sense that people who have been booked on the same ticket must be assigned consecutive seats. But apparently Air Canada does not have much common sense. Cons: Late and overbooked Toronto Airport Dodd is bad. --- no veggie optional

Cons: The waiting room in Boston was awful and behind security, hot, small crowded. Delayed

Pros: The food was good for plane food and there was a variety of choices for entertainment.
Cons: We did have a 30 minute delay, not a big deal but a delay none the less. And boarding was a bit of a mess as announcements were hard to hear.

Pros: Excellent crew and comfortable cabin.
Cons: I have no criticisms to offer.

Pros: The crew at the gate and onboard were exceptional! At the gate they made sure I could get on this flight even though the computer auto booked me for 2 days later.
Cons: My bags didn't make it on the flight because of a close connection. Then I was rebooked on a flight 2 days later. This is unacceptable. I was expected to stay in Toronto for two days.

Pros: Bos->Toronto Good Air Canada at Boston Logan airport has there own gate area with only 3 gates. This reduces the security line for faster security check. However this also causes problems with PreCheck. See below.
Cons: Bad There is only one line for security at Air Canada Boston Logan because of the small volume at this check point. Because of this, PreCheck passages need to hold onto there bording pass as they go through security. The first security person who checks ID and boarding pass only told my wife not to take off her shoes. He did not tell her to hold on to her boarding pass, so she put it into the bin for x-ray stuff. So later security personnel then told her to take off her shoes and gave her a body scan because her boarding pass was already in the x-ray machine. I always hold on to my boarding pass thru security but had to take my computer out of my carry-on.

Pros: Flight and in flight service
Cons: Bit chaotic in the departure area and at the gate

Pros: Everything at the airport and while flying went great!
Cons: When my flight got cancelled, the staff on the phone was not helpful. Also the email notification on the cancelled flight was poorly explained. I wish the Air Canada explained the situation more fully in the email. If they had, I wouldn't have worried as much as I did about my international traveling.
