Flight was ok but lack of communication cost me to literally beg to be put on another flight as connecting flight had departed
Couldn’t get boarding pass in SLC even with help from a redcoat, so had to find a desk in AMS to get boarding pass. Technical problems so not sure why. Very inconvenient. The KLM app is not as user friendly as most apps. Also had to wait almost an hour on the tarmac for a fuel truck, which caused us to miss a connecting bus in LUX.
Over 1 Hr delay. No APU so no AC on ground. Plane was hot during boarding and then they closed the doors over 20 minutes before engine start so interior of plane was steamy hot and stuffy. Could have been helped by opening doors until ready to depart.
First of all we couldn’t check in online, then we learn at the airport we were on stand by for KLM’s mistake of overbooking. The seats were not comfy at all. Our luggage got lost.
Ad experience - been flying many years with them but they are losing out to other carriers with their service and bagage / seating policy. My 2 12-yo kids were not placed with the parent. Absurdity.
Short flight so it was okay. Nice crew, all very pleasant and professional. We were near the back in row 27 so just as we got our drinks, we started our descent so had to drink very quickly!
KLM remains a quality flag carrier airline which maintains its standards whilst all their competitors are lowering theirs.
The baggage drop-off in Stuttgart is bad: after online check-in you cannot use the automated baggage drop off as indicated on the website. You can use the terminals but have to cue to 1 of three open and slowly working counters to drop the bags. took about 45 minutes wait time.
My flight was delayed by 6 hours then I missed BOTH of my connecting flights, I then had to stay in the AIRPORT at JFK because soooooo many people also suffered from missing flights and there was no hotels available. I would like to be compensated for this experience! I had to stay in the airport for over 16 hours!
The service was great. However the lounge only gets passing grade
My seat was one of those that couldn't recline, but the problem was that it was abnormally upright, so the headrest actually made the seat concave, which was uncomfortable and hard on my lower back. I had to ball my jacket up and use it as lumbar support. goodness I had it with me.
The flight attendants were not very nice. No smiles On my return trip I was charged for one bag $83.30 although I had purchased the flight including one piece of luggage. Can this be refunded to me? Thank you!
All good but I could barely get my arms and legs into the room in front of me. Have never been so cramped before. Plane left the gate on time, taxied very quickly and took off without waiting. Unique. Arrival on time. No problem
Good. Need more flights going to Barbados because we had a very long layover. The food was as expected of airline food but still can be improved. I had a seat at the back on one of the flights and by the time the foodcart arrived the only option was the vegetarian alternative. This could be improved on.
No space in overhead bin, one cookie, 2 oz of juice - is not customer service.
It's was good in general. I had a annoying next seat passenger. But nothing nobody could do anything
Our return trips from Lisbon to Vancouver were the worst flights I have EVER been on. Our seats from Frankfurt to Vancouver were most uncomfortable. The 'table ' was not only dirty but broken. My headrest ' support' too was broken, leaving a spot where a broken attachment poked at your head. My food was the worst food I have ever had on any flight. Staff....they all looked and acted as though they hated their jobs!! The Calgary to Vancouver wasnt much better. We had NO services even though we were told of complimentary beverages etc.. That didnt happen. I asked for window seats, assured by the ticket agent I was given a window seat...NOT. Please dont make me go on. Our trip from Vancouver TO Madrid was great......so we were most discouraged at the events of our return trip.
Bug wouldn't let me upgrade my 17 year old son to an exit row preferred seat even though conditions clearly stipulated 16 years minimum. Luckily no one else took the seat so a supervisor was able to force quit my son at the gate. Could have been a real problem had we been separated but all is well that ended well.
Missed flight to Kamloops with Air Canada. They did not hold the plane when I was delayed in security. Could not provide another flight for THREE DAYS. Provided hotel, however I had my husband come to get me. This needs to be compensated.
The main issue i had with this flight is the crew kept the plane super warm. A number of passengers i saw were sweating and fanning themselves. When we asked if they could lower the temperature, all we got was some crass dismissal from the head flight attendant the she couldn't feel the heat cause she was going through menopause...?!
everything was perfect! plus so much leg room w all the empty seats near me :)
The plane (Mitsubishi CRJ) felt old, creaking and not very new. The crew was okay. Hot water provision was broken so hot beverages could't be served.
Horrible seats. They were just coach seats with the middle seat blocked with a dirty seat tray.
Very friendly, service oriented and responsive crew. Very pleased with th service!
we were able to make it to the connecting flight in Frankfurt to Copenhagen thanks to Lufthansa crew. The ground crew was waiting at the gate and received us and took us through special runway entrance and immigration check. We were on the plane at 10-09 am for 10-10 departure. Thanks to Andre and the other lady for mission impossible :)
Beautifully maintained airplane, good food, professional crew, top-notch communication. I highly recommend Lufthansa for intercontinental flights between the United States and Europe.
Boarding and flight update was fantastic as I experienced about a 10-15 delayed for both flights. The food served onboard was great; the service of the flight attendants was excellent.
I enjoyed my flight back with Lufthansa because the food was good, and the flight attendants were nice and helped you when you asked a question. The flight attendants always came around and asked if you needed anything which I liked a lot.
My schedule flight was rebooking and changed to Chicago, then I did not used the flight from Dulles to Savannah
Service was courteous and attentive. Sat in the exit row. In exchange for leg room I had people tripping over my feet to use it at a hallway from one aisle to the other, had no access to films viaa viewscreen and no underseat storage for medicines or other personal travel needs. Next time I am seated there, I will refuse the exit row.
