Pros: "On March 4, my wife and I made a flight from New York to Sydney with a transfer in Doha, Qatar. We flew the Qatar airline business class. Everything was great despite a very large flight. New plane, very clean. Wide comfortable seats turning into a large comfortable bed. Great menu and good wine list. All staff are professionally trained and very friendly. All this made this flight very comfortable and we were not tired."

Cons: "Flight was late. There was no communication about it. The flight from Joburg to Doha was late, therefore I missed my connection. The delay was not officially communicated to any of the passengers — no announcements made, no representatives to talk to at the gate — until well past the time that we should have been in the air. It was distressing."

Pros: "The on flight entertainment is great. It’s very accommodating especially for long flights."
Cons: "Onboarding was ridiculous. They merged two gates together with no instructions to the large crowd of people boarding the plane. We were scheduled to start boarding at a certain time and we didn’t actually board until 45 minutes later. When we asked the attendants when we would begin boarding and did they have any instructions they were extremely rude, laughing with one another and taking selfies. When we we asked for the third time they brushed us off with a time frame. It was extremely disappointing."

Cons: "Although the loading Zone was given as Zone 1, boarding was chaotic because the fround crew was incredibly inefficient. The announcement was totally mumbled and badly managed, Why cant the boarding at Cochin be organised like queues for each zone so that the passengers do not crowd in a mad rush near the gate as if the fliht will leave without them. As in Doha have different seating area for different zones and the ground crew should be trained to be firm to allow only passengers with boarding."

Cons: "Small single aisle plane No wifi, no power ports, no individual screens Qatar is great about serving water but not other drinks -- I bought drinks inside security but there was another round of security at the gate -- they confiscated all of the drinks I bought"

Pros: "If you upgrade...it’s pricey but man doesn’t it look nice. Their regular seats are great. Get an emergency seat. Food isn’t kosher and tastes good. Never one complaint with these guys!"

Pros: "I am always glad to see a working USB port for charging mobile devices on these 12+ hour flights and was not disappointed here. The list of movies was long. Also positive was the tallest headrest I have experienced in coach."
