Pros: "Everything was great."

Cons: "Airline could not handle the two hour fog delay which led to tremendously long ticket desk lines and violently angry customers. Terrible experience for staff and customers."

Cons: "The flight was almost full. I was assigned an aile seat at row 37. My seat did not recline- because there is a wall behind it - howevera the window seat had a small recline. The seat in front of me when reclined left an unusually small space in front of my face. I was very uncomfortable. I'm a small person weighs 145 lb. this was my fourth flight with Turkish Airlines and was the worst. My wife next to me in the middle seat was fortunate that the passenger in front of her did not recline her seat."

Also, and most importantly, they've left my luggage in Istanbul (where the connection was from), so that I was left with no proper clothes/essentials for four (!) days (and it was colder than expected in Italy)."

Cons: "Omg...the crew...the crew, as was in the past, and with the exception of 1 poor guy who was really trying his best, was RUDE and lacked finess. They would literally kick u in the hallway (while passing this hostess gave me a good knock on my foot and didn't turn around to apologize. ..she kept going). They will serve you food and throw the trays down on your table, talk over you to the other hostess in the other isle while serving you. Speak in the most condescending tone, especially, unfortunately to older folks or foreigners who had a hard time understanding. I mean....total chaos and, for someone who flies often both dom & intl, this has got to be the worst service received, and thought the price point is as juicy as pie, I still expect some level of class and great customer service. It's not worth it."

Cons: "The airline apparently switched us to an earlier flight however we had received NOT A SINGLE email telling us that our flight had been moved. We had continued to receive emails for our original flight which still existed. Have no idea why they would move us in the first place and not tell us. We had to go through the hassle of getting switched back to our earlier flight which took an additional hour of dealing with people. This mimics our experience flying from Dalaman to Istanbul when our flight was canceled and we received no notification. They told us it was too early to receive a notification (we were there 12 hours in advance). However, had we arrived within the suggested window and found out it was canceled we never would have been able to reschedule to a connecting flight that still got us to Madrid in time.When checking our bags, the clerk tried to tell us that a backpack and small purse were too big to count as personal items even though they had been fine on ALL of our previous flights. I pointed out that individuals in other lines had larger backpacks that were being counted and he finally acquiesced but with a lot of attitude. The plane was then an hour late. The sign for boarding continued to tell us it was on time up until 45 minutes AFTER we were supposed to have boarded when it finally updated and said 'delayed'. The crew stood around laughing and providing zero updates as we all worried about whether or not we would make our connecting flights. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL"

We drove to the plane and waited for 15 minutes in the cramped shuttle while they were putting another staircase to the plane and finishing prepping it. We left a half an hour late and the flight was already at 10pm. It was a pretty terrible experience! And the section of the Istanbul airport we were in was pretty dirty. Also the movie they played had two language options but no English which was disappointing."

Pros: "We flew a plane that had 2 row seats. I booked that for my daughter and me as well as seats ahead of an exit so we would have no one behind as. Great seats and they reclined quitea bit. We were very pleased."

Cons: "Due to weather patterns, we sat on the runway for 3 hours waiting to take off. There was approx. 50+ planes ahead of us. I know this because I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot on his way home. About 2 hours in, there was 30 planes left to take off, and then us. They air traffic control people were only letting off one plane per minute which is what was holding us. THEN after the 3 hours on the runway, our crew timed out and the brought us back to gate saying we were not taking off. At the gate, they informed us the flight was not 'cancelled' but 'delayed' to the following morning. I/m not sure how a 16 hour difference is considered 'delayed', but I digress. All Delta reps had NO idea the time of the new flight the following morning and told us all to just 'keep checking the app'. Now, fortunately for me I live in Brooklyn and could just go home. But what about everyone who was at LGA as a layover? I heard from multiple passengers they had to spend the night in a hotel, that Delta did not pay for. We finally got notice the new flight was scheduled for 9:30AM, which they AGAIN delayed until 11:30AM. Many people did not get the second change, and were already at LGA for the 9:30AM flight. To say Delta's handling of this was poor is an understatement. We knew when we got on that plane the crew was going to time out. Again, I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot who told me to 'get comfy, we're gonna be here awhile' the minute I sat down. Delta should have given us a fresh crew, or had a backup one prepared. I understand the weather is out of there control, and I understand you can't have a tired crew piloting an airplane, but there are other ways to have us take off remotely on schedule."

We sat in the last row of the 777 which only had 2 seats on either side of the plane rather than the standard 3. The seats still reclined tho not as much as the other rows. Food was free and excellent- so was the entertainment (I watched 4 movies on the 14 hour flight). Crew was great. Alcoholic beverages were also free but we don't drink so it didn't matter."

This becomes particularly important when one is traveling for > 9 hours back to back flights!! One can extra charge for it!!"

We were 50 minutes late leaving. This resulted in many of us either missing or having extremely tight (stressful) connections at CDG Paris."

Well, I can no longer complain: I was very kindly invited to move across that curtain. Of course, in short haul (2-hours+) A321 flights, all seats are created equal, business or main cabin... But the attention was there, excellent service, and gourmet food too. The whole experience was great. I'll go on flying Air France with fewer regrets."

That is unbelievable and unacceptable in 2018. Seats pitch was pretty small and I even had to fly on a broken seat that would not recline, for a 11 hours flight. The most uncomfortable flight I have ever flew. If that wasn't enough to make the experience the worst possible, flight attendance was rude! I strongly suggest to avoid American Airlines at all cost."

Cons: "We arrived almost 3 hours early for our flight, and STILL ended up running to our gate to make it because we waited over an hour and a half in the bag drop line. There were only about 10 people in front of us in this line, but the guy working the counter had no urgency and would frequently stop to make jokes and chat with his coworkers beside him. There was another woman in tears because she was about to miss her flight. Then, once we waited in another insanely long, slow line to board, our flight was delayed over an hour with us sitting on the plane, which caused about half the plane to miss their connecting flights (including us) in London. This then caused us to miss our final connection in the states, which happened to be a standby flight. When trying to rebook a flight to the states from London, we explained how difficult it would be to get another flight out of our original airport in the states since it was now the weekend. The customer service rep informed us that as long as British Airways 'fulfilled their contract' to get us back to the one destination, it wasn't their issue how we got another flight back home."

Cons: "Airbus A380, so boarding and de-boarding took some time. Aircraft interiors are made per airline requirements, not simply by aircraft manufacturer. On an airplane that will always be use on long haul routes I won't expect the usual non-really-reclinable last row of seats. Moreover, the armrest does not disappear between seats when moved upwards, it goes up only 45 degrees. Quite a nuisance traveling with your s.o. or children if you want to lean on each other."

Cons: "I originally purchased a round trip ticket thru Kayak to be in Italy from 3/31 thru 4/12. I arrived 3/31 and a few hours later received messages that my son had passed away from a heart attack. My wife had been in Italy for a week at this point at a conference. We had to purchase tickets on very short notice to get home. I was charged over $2700 per ticket, nothing credited for the tickets we already had to return to the US on 4/2. So not only were we deeply upset at the loss of my son, we were pillaged by the airline with for very expensive tickets to sit in the last row of the jet. I certainly will remember this regarding future flights on British or American Airlines"

Pros: "I had to buy new clothes after lost bag and since bag had been lost twice during my trip, I was reluctant to check the bag. It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. But to stay positive, they were kiind, sympathetic, funny, sweet. I appreciate them."

Cons: "We waited 1 hr or more for our baggage to arrive at baggage claim and no one from AA told us anything until about 50 minutes into our wait that there was a weather delay so baggage crew couldn't work in the conditions. When we landed, the weather was fine so no one knew! Many people missed connections or had to run through the airport by time they got their bags. Better communication would have been easy to do to keep us informed."

The gentleman that helped us was lovely but system issues kept us at check in a very long time and unfortunately that together with the crazy insanely long distance to our gate- then only to take a bus- we did not have time to pick up any food or make any stops which we counted on and had arrived 2.5 hours ahead of time to check in to allow for."

Cons: "Kayak/webjet sent me the wrong check in code for the wrong airline operating my flight. I inserted it on the online form multiple times until I was blocked from doing so, and there was no link to communicate online in real time with anyone who could solve the problem. This was extremely stressful and unnecessary, as well as time consuming. It was not how I wanted to spend my final night in Italy. Furthermore, I had to wake up at 4 am to get a very early bus to the airport in order to check in early enough in person. NOT cool. The food was mediocre. The entertainment options were about the worst I've ever seen. My seat hardly went back at all."

Cons: "I began flying when airline attendants were called airline stewardesses. Their personality plus attitudes and attention to detail reflected on the overall image of the airline, and did not make me feel like a second rate citizen in a second class seat. I've noticed over the last decade-plus that this has changed. I've been rudely spoken to for reaching for a napkin off the cart as I was not given one with my drink. My elbow was hit by the cart as it moved from back to front of isle, and no apology followed. The garbage was collected moving back to front, so I had to get the attention of the attendant after she flew by me. I thoroughly researched the size of the suitcase required prior to flying, and bought a new one to meet the requirements. My suitcase did not fit on American Airlines. Why am I bringing up American Airline? When getting to the airport in Milan, Italy, 2 1/2 hours prior to flight departure, I approached the British Airway counter. As no one was there, I proceeded to believe I was too early, so I had breakfast. I again approached the British Airway counter and still no one was there. On my way to the bathroom, I found the flight board and followed the directions. I searched for British airlines at the gate I was directed to, but was unable to find it. I asked an attendant, and I was directed to the American Airline gate. It was very confusing. It would have been nice if there was a sign at the British Airways counter directing its customers to American Airlines."

The Italian counter people sometimes took >10 min. to check in individual families. I saw two agents at one check in where the two seemed to just be chatting?! We were in that line over 45 minutes! Our own check in only took 15 seconds! Gates VERY far from the Check In counter."

Cons: "This was a nine hour flight and the entertainment system was very old. There were screens in the middle of the plane with the movies chosen for you. On a flight this long, the customer should have options. You also were not able to control your the air. So the flight was freezing! The lunch options were meatballs or cheesy pasta. I thought these were risky. What has happened to chicken?"

Cons: "We bought 3 seats on Business class. My seat did not have the TV working. After flying for 2 hours the flight attendant gave me a portable TV, after asking multiple times. The food was totally horrible. The catering company that American Airlines uses needs to be replaced immediately. Flying TAP, Emirates, Latam, British Airlines , their catering company is very good. Flight attendants were sarcastic and rude. The service was equivalent if you fly coach class."

Pros: "The British Airways flight to Europe had on-demand movies, with a screen on the back of the seat in front of you. The American Airlines return flight only had a cabin screen, where everyone watched the same movie. I will say, however, that the two movies I watched were excellent, so the outcome was fine (but given the option, I'd take the BA option of on-demand viewing!)."
Cons: "The seats on the AA weren't quite as comfortable as the BA flight (seats sat pretty straight upright, and not too plush... but all in all, not terribly uncomfortable)."

Cons: "Only one plane really gave me a bad experience. The plane was pretty old and cramped and the crew was very rude. Maybe they were having a bad day or didn't want to be in the old plane either, but their performance was bad. One of the attendants, I think his name was Juju, asked me is a soft voice if I would like a drink. With the engines roaring in the background I thought he asked have you been served a drink? I responded "No, I have not." And he started off serving everyone else. I had to call him and asked if he was skipping me and he replied "I asked you if you wanted a drink and you said No!" I explained the engines were loud and I mistaken his words and with an attitude he served me a drink. For the whole 9hr flight I avoided him at all cost and just responded to the other attendants. The other attendants seemed annoyed and would roll their eyes or make a face when people would try to pass them on the aisle, but I in their defense, they were moving a large cart in a small aisle. Passengers should have waited until the aisle was clear before moving. That was my only issue. The next flight was better with no problems."

Pros: "That we flew over the Atlantic safely. Pleasant enough crew."
