After looking again, we were put on a much better route through Detroit. I did not have a seat on the second leg and was stressed that I could get bumped. I made the flight but was given a middle seat. Since I have clostrophobia I began to panic. My brother sacrificed his exit row seat for me. He had booked through Delta. I wondered if he got better treatment because of that"

Cons: "Flight was delayed out of St. Louis causing several of us to miss our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Portland. Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

Cons: "We lost our whole vacation and had to pay for the plans fare twice because My last name was spelled wrong on our tickets and we were unable to use them because my passport didn’t match the name on the ticket. We had to rebook everything pay almost twice as much for the plane fare, our Lodi g cost more and our trip was delayed for two weeks. Vyama is blaming us for spelling our name wrong and claimes that it’s our fault this happened because everything is automated. There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."

Cons: "They changed my flight to a different one departing 2 hours earlier and did not notify me! The original flight was still available & they would not let me take it despite my reservation paper work. CRAZY! I have a two hour drive to the airport this gave me the option to leave home at 2:30am or go the night before and pay for a hotel. Flight was managed by DELTA who also did not care! All involved blamed each other. Beware"

Cons: "My one complaint is the bathroom layout of the A320. Two tiny closet bathrooms in the back for all of coach and a much larger one much larger one first class (which is like 5 rows with a mesh curtain for separation). The coach bathrooms are so small a normal person can barely get in and turn around to close the door. I question whether a larger person would be able to actually use them. I also saw the flight attendant actively turn away coach passengers trying to use the first class bathroom when it was open (not standing in the aisle or anything annoying like that). That's ridiculous to have 2 tiny bathrooms for all of coach and also to make people walk all the way to the back of the plane when you are seated much closer to the first class bathroom."

Pros: "When I spoke to one of the stewardesses about how this was the second time in a week that Air Canada failed to prepare a vegetarian meal for me, she listened to me and somehow pulled something together. All other employees were courteous, as well."
Cons: "On both my departure and return flight, Air Canada insisted I did not tell them ahead of time that I was a vegetarian. I am sure I did it for the departure, and I am absolutely certain I did it on the return. I contacted them because I didn't want to go hungry on another 10+ hour flight. I think, what happened was, another vegetarian who didn't order ahead requested a vegetarian meal and got mine. I was told I had to verify 48 hours before my flight. Why? Could I have become non-vegetarian in that amount of time? You should have to say it only once. I have never had this problem on any other airline, and it happened the only two times I've flown Air Canada. The light positions are terrible; my neighbors' light shown directly into my face the entire flight."

Cons: "Rouge Flight entertainment does not even come close to any other carriers entertainment system. Additionally, if you have a PC your're out of luck. It only works with IOS. Funny, it took me over an hour to find this out prior to the flight. The ground crew were all clueless if I could use my PC. I could have used my Smart Phone but it's kinda on the small side to watch a full length movie and drain my battery to 0. The Air Canada website was equally not helpful. I had to purchase their Ipad rental for $10 Canadian Dollars in order to watch a movie. Funny, they only had maybe 12-15 movies to choose from. Additionally, the bathrooms were disgusting and had broken parts everywhere. Flight was filthy. Looks like their just trying to scramble turning their flights around. I felt sorry for the people waiting in Honolulu for their flight back to Vancouver. Shame on you Air Canada. Time to upgrade your fleet please. You need to have better cleaning crews and definitely upgrade your Rouge Player system to accept PC's."

Pros: "One flight attendant in particular stood out to me. She was extremely friendly and pleasant the whole flight. Flying is not always the easiest experience, especially during a 12 hour journey. Her positive attitiude definitely made it more bearable. Excellent customer service!"

I got to my gate 40 min. before takeoff (it was 15 min. delayed). Upon boarding I was told my seat was given away. They assumed I would miss my flight. I had to wait another 4 hr. to board a flight to Vancouver BC leaving 11pm. I had to go to a hotel at 2 am and take a 8:50 am flight to PDX. Before boarding I was again stopped because my ticket didn't have the proper security stamp. The agent there was extremely rude and condescending. This was a terrible experience!"

Cons: "There was a thunderstorm & a wreck that morning, so even though we planned to arrive 90 minutes before boarding we ended up not making it until avout 62 minutes before flight time. They only had one gate agent and she stepped away before we could check in. Assuming she'd be right back, we waited for her instead of checking in by terminal. By the time she returned it was too late to check in and they wouldn't let us board. Air Canada didn't have another flight until the next day, so we had to spend $5000 to re-book our flight on a different airline."

Cons: "my luggage and my baby's car seat was delayed. I arrived at 10 pm and my luggage and baby's car seat was missing. I was told they will deliverer it to me the next day, but I have not received my stuff now its been two days"

Pros: "Entertainment and Food on Board was better than US carriers. Campbell Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup was not hot enough and not enough broth, Cheese was ok."
Cons: "We had yet another weather delay. Why put us on the Aiplane just to sit on the runway, Ground Stiop! The Custom process is not well explained and takes far too long. Very Bad! Because of all the delays for weather and a tight connection at Toronto we lost our Luggage. One day later at 11:00 pm we finally have our luggage. Bad!"

Pros: "The Air Canada agents and staff were very helpful and accommodating to the best of their ability. I hugged one female AC Agent in TO as she was so kind and helpful, and told her she was the highlight of my day."
Cons: "The processing of Air Canada passengers to the connecting Gates and through Customs for USA international flights was a nightmare. It was very disorganized, with hundreds of passengers herded like cattle, poor communication, customs slips not provided on the AC Flight before landing so as to be completed in advance. There was staff shortage, and not done in a timely manner so as to make your connecting Flight. It has truly been a most stressful experience for me this and each time I have to go through Toronto to make a connecting flight , and I will avoid this flight plan in the future at all cost."

Pros: "In spite of the issues with the equipment (screens & lights) he crew was very reactive and listen to our request."
Cons: "The screens of an entire row didn't work at all making it impossible to watch movies, listen to music or watch the flight's info. On top of that, when I wanted to read, I figured the light above my seat did not work either."

Cons: "Our flight originating in Halifax was 1.5 hours delayed and we knew there was no way we would make our connecting flight in Toronto with a 40 min window to pass through customs, US immigration, and reenter security into the US bound F gates. We requested to be rebooked for early the following day to avoid being stranded in Toronto. Acknowledging it was unlikely we could make the connection, the staff told us that because the computer didn't list it as a "missed connection", they could not take any steps to rebook us. Of course, we missed the connection and were stranded for an entire 24 hours in Toronto with two small children."

Then I called customer service and was able to find plenty of seats for the same day. I hate the experience with this u helpful staff. Would never fly air canada again."

United in DC told us all the flights to the next port for our boat (Antigua) were full and offered no other assistance. There were 11 of us in the same position. Several folks found a flight late that evening leaving at 8:30AM the next day for Antigua. They did not have our phone number so they couldn't tell us about its availability. 6 of us chartered a flight to Antigua the next day. If United told us about the existence of the 8:30 flight, everything would have been ok. United paid for the 8:30 flight for the 5 folks who took it."

Front desk had already boarded all 5 groups before realizing there was not enough overhead compartment space causing at least 50+ passengers to circle back to the plane door to check in their baggage. Flight crew and passengers had to hastily reshuffle overhead luggage causing inefficient boarding process and confusion during unboarding process. Baggage claim went to a different carousel than the one stated."

Cons: "I was in the very last row and I was exhausted but I still couldn't sleep because one, my seat doesn't recline at all in that row; two, because the flight crew were chatting and laughing the whole time and it was very distracting. When the seat in front of me leaned back, I had even less room to move so I was stuck seated upright for two hours. Very uncomfortable, very exhausting."

Pros: "Attractive staff very professional."
Cons: "No leg room and tight seats. Adequate but a tight fit. We travel with my husbands 72 lb lab seeing eye dog and we really needed a free area for him, but he was able to squeeze under. This was very uncomfortable for us. They offered the aisle row person a chance for another seat in the rear, which of course was declined and I can't fault her."

Pros: "Ended up buying a flight on American Airlines, will never fly United again. God help you if you have a disability!"
Cons: "I was kicked off the plane for telling the flight attendant as I have a 1000 times that I have anxiety while flying. She said I'm not risking our flight. Tried getting a refund and have not! The airline is trying to say I never made the flight! I took AA first class and guess what. Best expierence so far!"

Cons: "And my boarding group status was downgraded to 5. Consequently bins were so full my smallish roll on was taken and checked through. Not what I would have liked."

Pros: "Absolutely nothing! My flight was scheduled for takeoff at 8:15 pm on Wednesday.I boarded my flight on two different occasions only to be informed that there were mechanical issues.that first delayed & eventually cancelled my flight. I was kept waiting and inconvenienced until 5am, when I was finally offered an alternate 12noon flight later that day as well as a comped room at a nearby hotel. My time is very valuable & limited and because of this experience my itinerary was adversely affected. I will be hard pressed to ever fly United again. Michael Aponte- Very Disappointed!"

Pros: "Basically good, except for delay."

Cons: "45 minutes to go 64 gates to catch my flight to smf is too tight. Flight was a few minutes late. Carry on was too for crj. Went as quickly as I could and arrived at time that aircraft door was scheduled to be closed. Flight delayed 45 minutes due to late equipment arrival. Never saw a sign telling me of the gate for my flight."

Cons: "The man who was boarding us announced to the whole area that if your ticket says to see him just sit down and wait to be called because he's "getting irritated". Terrible customer service! The crew on the plane acted like they didn't want to be there. They had a ton of empty seats but announced that we can't move up or change unless we pay for it with our credit card. I understand it but it sounded really bad. Not welcoming at all. Will avoid United in the future."

Cons: "My 3rd old was very hungry and I reached out to cabin staff for any kind of food for purchase, they turned me down saying I need to wait for another hour till the dinner time. Did not provide any help there."

Pros: "Everything was great! I was happy to find such a great deal last minute."

Pros: "Comfortable seats ,they seem to have a new ergonomic design that make them more comfy . More leg room even in regular economy seating."
Cons: "Staff wasn't very talkative just kinda did the basic beverage service and that's it . Not rude but not overly friendly either . The crews that work for Southwest make you laugh and they're so much more interactive with passengers ."

Pros: "No delays and on time arrivals, courteous staff"
Cons: "No complaints"

Cons: "Although it did not happy to me personally, one of the flight attendants had a bit of an attitude towards several other passengers."

Pros: "Kayak did a perfect job of alerting us via email in a timely manner when changes were made to gates and flight times. I napped the whole flight, so no food or entertainment issues."
Cons: "I forgot to choose specific seats for our return flight. My fault."

Pros: "Your Crew!!!! From the lady who checked me in to the last flight attendant saying thank you for flying with us... you should really be proud of your staff!"
