Cons: Couldn’t hear the pilot at all, which was disconcerting through a pretty turbulent flight. Unclear about beverage service; some people seemed to get drinks but no one ever asked if we wanted anything. Finally the app did not work consistently for in-flight entertainment

Cons: The gentleman sitting next to me never turned his phone in to airplane mode. His phone rang several times while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures right in front of us. This was after the announcement came that all electronic devices where to go into airplane mode. The flight attendant did not do anything and seemed to ignore the phone that kept ringing. The gentleman was even talking on the phone while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures. Later while landing an announcement came over that we were to return to our seats, close all tray tables, and seats ts in the upright position. At this point the gentleman sitting next to me leaned his seat backwards. The flight attendant passed by the gentleman at least three times and never said anything about his seat back. Evidently this flight attendant did not care to do his job properly.

On the flight from Mex City to LAX the bathroom facilities were so limited that some Economy class passengers had to try to use the business class or first class facilities' An FA then came on the intercom and said Economy class must only use their own facilities and this is according to an FAA regulation. THat is a straight out lie. If you eliminate bathrooms from Economy class to squeeze in more seats this problem will persist. American Airlines should be ashamed of itself.

Pros: The price is competitive. On boarding was ontime. Though the flight was redirected to Omaha due to bad weather in Kansas City, it was only an hour late than the scheduled arrival to Kansas City.

I was told that with Layover I would receive my check in bag for Hotel stay. the attendant took a discription of my luggage for other united employees to tell me it would take 3 hours to retrieve my luggage. They didn’t even try to look for it or help me. Then what’s the point of taking my discription down? Now I have to stay at a hotel with nothing on me. So ridiculous and rude.
Cons: They boarded us in spite of the fact that the flight had been delayed 40 minutes. We were all getting alerts on our phones but were told to disregard it and board anyway. We then had to sit on the runway for 40+ minutes until we could take off. Since we were traveling with two small children, it would have been preferable to spend those extra 40 minutes in the terminal rather than on the plane.

Pros: On time departure and arrival and a friendly crew helped keep this flight smooth despite some turbulence. The fact that there have been electrical outlets on this route for so long is a testimony to the Continental heritage.
Cons: The seats in economy are just so tight that sleep on this short overnight flight was almost impossible. The lack of more recline (as in the recarro sears used on the LH/LX products) and short pitch make it hard to either work or sleep. The small plane size makes this sardine feeling worse and slows service to the rear of be craft.

There was a gray-haired male flight attendant who was extremely negative and unfriendly. Perhaps (I hope) he was really a security guard. But if he is going to serve people, he has to understand the concept of service.

Cons: Luggage lost or left in Chicago with meds including insulin, had to stay in motel in Portland, ME to wait for morning flight. Hope luggage is on that flight. He needed his meds and only wanted to help when they said there was too much baggage. Mr. Perrin had only one carrying with everything in it. The flight itself was fine and he had good aisle seats and wheelchair at all points, but the lost luggage with the important meds caused a problem. We hope United found it.
