Pros: "Boarding in St Thomas is always a mess, no matter what airline you fly. I usually fly Delta because the planes are clean and the people are nice. Well this time the staff went well above and beyond. My friend and I were sitting in the front row of seats in the lounge at the airport, facing the Delta gates. There was a mob of people milling about between us and the gate, so we could not see very well, but we thought we had a clear view of the door. Also it was very loud in the terminal. The flight had a delay, so we were relaxing and chatting, when I got a text from my mom asking if I was on the plane. So I went to the counter to inquire if they had started boarding our flight. The lady looked at me with surprise and said, "We have been paging you!!". Well we were both surprised! We had not heard anything over the general din in the airport. It turns out they had completed boarding and already rolled the stairs away from the plane! The ground staff talked to the captain and then they rolled up a set of stairs, opened the door to the plane, and let us on! The flight attendants said that they had never seen that happen before. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the crew at Delta for going the extra mile to make sure we made it on our flight."

In this flight from Boston to LAX - I heard there were 80 Priority checking - are you kidding me. Group 1 does not help if I have 80 Priority seating and one family took 12 people in with one elderly. It's good to place Elderly and Military up front first - but to take the Whole entire family - that's not fair - you have 8 able bodies who should be in line with the rest of the crowd. Also who heard of 80 Priority check ins - normally, that's Group 1. Never flying AA unless I a desperate."

We were given two “blankets” which were as thin as a sheet and each one bottle of water. Some other people around us received good voucherS. We did not. We walked around the airport for close to an hour looking for anyplace we could lay down and sleep. None were to be found. We tried to sleep on the floor but was so cold and uncomfortable I literally got sick to my stomach. Another fun thing added to mix. We were placed on another flight as 6 the next morning. After no sleeping at all we boarded our next flight Which was not a direct flight to Boston but would be from Denver to Newark then Newark to Boston. We were suppose to originally land in Boston at 0600 Monday. Instead we arrived at 1430 after getting zero sleep. My husband and I were also unable to sit together which was extra special for people around me because after not sleeping I continued to be sick to my stomach."
