When we were ready to take off, the plane went back to the gate to drop someone off that had boarded. For one reason or another this added at least an hour delay to our flight.
Only thing they did lost my baggage 🧳 that's is bad now its been 14th hours and I still don't have my baggage
Overbooked my flight. Wouldn’t give my three year old son and I a seat even though we paid and I checked in immediately with the email.
Easy comfortable flight with nice attendants.
I was a little over an hour early to check in & check 1 bag. I was told that my flight was already too full to check my bag so I would have to wait for another flight (on stand by). I originally had a direct flight to my destination but then had to to have a layover. In total I had to wait (and hope) I would be able to catch a flight by “stand by” 3 times that day! I was later told by several employees yhafvthat should have never happened which did not make me feel any better. By the way, my flight was on American Airlines, not Alaskan- I should have known then that it was not going to be easy travels.
Friendly staff. Did not like that all the passengers in boarding group 7,8,and 9 had to check their small roller bags due to no more room.
Boarding was ok but not on time. The rest of it was very nice and the crew was great.

Helpful with the situation we had with payment for my dog allowed me to travel waving the fee because of complications with the system
Passengers not wearing masks and flight attendants didn’t enforce their rule. Also both legs of my flight were delayed and I ended up landing at my destination an hour late at almost 1am.

Cons: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."

Cons: "There was no entertainment. The airline did not offer a complimentary headphones, and failr sure the wifi was not even working. Also was not that big of a fan with the extra long layover. Was not a fan of the extra time in the holding pattern above Indianapolis, nor the extra time 150 feet from the gate after we landed."

When the gate I was waiting at finally showed the flight information to Toledo, I had to find what gate I my flight was now on and had fifteen minutes to make it to the correct gate. The seat was very uncomfortable. Luckily this was only 1.5 hours flight time otherwise it would have been pure misery. What this means is that you have to do two separate searches to compare the basic economy price and the upgraded economy to see if the difference is less than a checked bag. It makes the booking process unecessarily complicated, so much so that I'm just going to exculde United from the list of airlines when I do a search on one of the aggregators"
