Pros: "I loved the attitude and helpful approach of the female flight attendant working the AA gate for the flight I took from DFW to COS last night (6/13). Truthfully, it was almost like I was back with Southwest. She was kind, calm, polite, efficient, and capable. Very rare in my experience with American Airlines yesterday. Interacting with her was refreshing."
Cons: "Getting home to Colorado Springs at 11:30 PM, taxiing for 15-20 minutes, and then waiting another 20-30 for checked luggage! Never have I waited that long during and after a Southwest flight! AA could truly learn something from their more modest counterpart. I have all but decided to resume my drives to Denver every other week rather than risk more and more time and poor experiences with AA flying in-and-out of Colorado Springs."

Cons: "Surprised by a snarky employee at gate check for my connecting flight home today. I fly with AA nearly every week for work. They grabbed my bag from me and insisted it be checked. I said I didn’t want to pay for checking and that it contained fragile items. It was a little over-stuffed for the scale. When I went to open it and remove some bulky items to put in my purse, they snatched my suitcase away and refused to let me touch my bag. I find this to be completely unacceptable. They had the gall to suggest I go to an airport store, buy a “suitable suitcase,” and take a later flight home. They made a scene and called a supervisor who kindly and promptly let me in my suitcase. The employee then spoke negatively about me loudly to nearby colleagues and refused to make eye contact. After the supervisor let me in my bag, I got on the plane with my suitcase. At one point, this employee made me feel like I was going to be kicked off of my flight; this was so unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. AA - your employees are better than this."

Pros: "I had a weapon to check and found that one of the case locks had been broken. With only minutes to spare a Huntsville TSA bag checker donated a personal padlock so I could make my flight. 5 stars."

Pros: "Great experience! Entertainment was up to par. Had plenty of up to date and unreleased content. Seats are much more comfortable now as well. Service was great too! As a nearly 40 year old man they allowed me to see the cockpit and that was the first time I was ever offered in my life. Thank you!!"

Cons: "AA didnt give a boarding pass because of an error in their computer. When it was finally resolved the flight was gone and all they could say was sorry and said they would refund the money. They would not accomodate us or try to get us on another flight until they day of the returning flight. Unfortunately because of this my father missed seeing his friends and family who he has not seen in over 40 years for a reunion. We never received notification that anything was wrong with the flight and we were given the run around for 2 hours until they realized it was their fault and we missed the flight. Then they just offered a refund. In my opinion they were overbooked and did this on purpose, because it could have been resolved in minutes. I am disappointed with all parties involved including Kayak because of not notifying us of a problem. Thanks for ruining possibly the last time my father would be able to see his family and friends."

Cons: "From the get go it was an awful experience ... I travel with an emotional support animal as does my husband because we don't do well with flying. I have anxiety to the max about it & my husband gets ulcerative colitis flare ups any time he's stressed out which is usually while we fly and having our dogs with us turkey makes us feel better. When I called to tell them over the phone we would have our emotional support animal I got an attitude as if I hadn't been doing this for the last 4 years. She reiterated to me that we needed in addition to the letterhead from the doctor a form filled out (which we both did ) . Brought to the airport and sit had to sit at the counter like the girl didn't know what she was doing. Fast forward to finally getting to the gate after being stressed and our flight was delayed. This now only made our 50 min layover in DC 20 min by the time we landed. We ran from one gate to the next hoping we wouldn't miss our flight and when we got there they wouldn't let us on the plane saying things like "your dogs are not on this flight" "there is no documentation" "well then you must not have the right paperwork" ... in front of a bunch of people in line, out of breath, and now embarrassed I am forced to take out my folder and give them all the paperwork I had just given to the customer service desk before our first flight. They let everyone on the plane and still made us stand there and finally said "just go but your dogs aren't on this flight". Fast forward AGAIN to sitting on the flight the flight attendant comes over and says "guys where's you carrier the dogs need to be under the seats" .. we peoceeded again to explain for the seventh time that they were emotional support animals ... she then proceeded "no they are not they are not even listed on this flight" at this point I'm EXTREMLY embarrassed because people on the plane are paying attention and drawing attention to us but not only that ... I have been doing this for years .. I ALWAYS have the proper documentation as does my husband and we have never ran into this kind of disappointment and embarrassment from any airline until now. I was so stressed out to begin with and this deffinately didn't help ... nor did it make us wants to fly on American again. I felt pushed aside, embarrassed, and belittled by multiples employees ... all because the first employee clearly made a mistake and didn't document things correctly ... that should have never been put on us ."

Nothing offered to the passengers during this time, not even water."

Cons: "Flight was actually non existent. It took us two days to get to our destination, Cancun so we lost a day of vacation there. We had to stay a night in Dallas and traverse all over the airport between American and Untied to chase down our vouchers for luggage, dinner, and rooms. Exhausting. We had to travel two hours in an old mini van from Columbia to St. Louis to even get started on our vacation flights. We did not have a pleasant experience with United on either side of the trip."

Cons: "The plane has business section seats that face both ways...some face the front of the plane as most seats do and some face the back of the plane which seems new. I had asked when I booked the flight and again when I checked in what direction out seats faced and was assured the seats faced forward. They do not. Out seats in row 9 faced the backend of the plane and were awful."

Pros: "Very professional staff at Montrose Regional. Special assistance was given by the ticket agent at the gate to help get a disabled co-travelor on board. Super smooth takeoff, best ever from Montrose."

The staff were great, and thanks to their help we surprisingly didn't miss our flight. I cannot stress enough how awful this experience was."

The movie froze every 10-15min even on their own big screen. Food was very disappointing even by airline food standard. I was not expecting it to be great food but hey at least provide some options with decent taste please? Comfort: Seats are tight and you will have very minimal space and an awkward position if the person in front of you recline the seat but you don't. Flight is old and seats are uncomfortable. Very little leg room"

Cons: "First when seated there was no room for even my purse in the overhead storage. I had to hold everything in my lap. My ticket seats were separated when I was sure I booked the seats together. The blanket given to my seat was in package but was used and very vile smelling. The flight attendant was very rude, had an attitude when I asked for a drink after I wasn't offered one. When landing and I was asleep, flight attendant hit my head to wake me up to adjust my seat to the correct position rather then in a polite way. Also luggage was not with the rest of the planes luggage and on a differnt carousel. I travel often and are use to glitches, but when cleanliness and attitude come into the picture those are things that can be controlled. I wish to no longer travel with United again."

Cons: "However the crew was horrible; there was no food provided. (Crackers j don't call food)."

Cons: "I encountered some of the worst staff ever on this flight. I was skipped over and completely ignored during more than once. I even told the guy I wanted water with ice when he asked me and then he starting socializing with others and skipped me. When I brought it to his attention he got all pissy with me. The other crew man was older and made me very uncomfortable. He was yelling at people constantly and made it very clear that he hates his job. This was the coldest flight I've even been on. Literally everyone was wrapped in their blankets and it still wasn't enough. The staff was told several times but refused to do anything. The guy in front of me had his seat row 39 middle left fully reclined back for the whole flight. Not once did anyone tell him to put it up during takeoff and meal times. He kept rocking the seat and spilled my drink in my lap."

Cons: "This for flight to and from London to Dulles. You assign seats who are family or Husband wife separately, then when it comes to choosing a seat there no or very few options left. Your upgrade cost even for more leg room coach starts at over a $100 Even though we booked on Lufthansa, we were flying United. Food in the coach was below average and the Entertainment audio very poor. I am travelling soon again and would like a free upgrade this time and will rate your service accordingly. My travel plan this year is numerous."

Cons: "My flight out of montrose to Denver was late by 50 minutes or more. So I didn't have a chance to take my flight from Denver to Austin. So I was at the Denver airport for five hours. To catch the next flight. But I understand that things happens. All of the personnel was really help full. No complains about that. I will do it again. I hop to have better luck whit my intineray"

They tried to convince me that my bag was too big for the overhead and wouldn't be able to go on the flight, even though it fit easily into their test bin, and when I got on, there was PLENTY of room for everyones bag. -The seats were really narrow. More narrow than other airlines. -The back of seat video monitors don't turn off, and if you want to watch them, it's expensive. So basically, you're inundated with ads the entire flight. -there wasn't full drink service on my flight, and not everyone was offered the same thing. some people got juice, the rest of us just got water."
