Everything went smoothly with Air France. There was a delay in departure which seemed to relate to the immigration services being short staffed.

their gluten free lactose meal is the best, I have never been satisfied with my flight meals. I definitely enjoyed my flight and the chair is very spacious for economy. I'm so glad Delta is my flight way back to NY.

Even though my seat is a paid seat, I was told to give up my seat to a passenger. I tried to ask the CA to negotiate, and when I spoke in Japanese, the CA fled. I had to find a Japanese CA and ask them to deal with it. . After takeoff, I spilled my coffee, and when I asked the flight attendant for a towel, she told me to wipe it off with a wet tissue. My clothes got wet, so I asked CA for an extra blanket, but I had to wait for an hour.

We were delayed an hour leaving Munich (No fault of the crew). They kept us posted on the status so we knew what was going on, but as a result we missed our connection in Chicago and the communication on connecting flights was pretty poor as we disembarked. It was already stressful and some of that could have been reduced by better communications about where to find transfers, etc.

One problem, but a serious one - the plane is built with electric windows that tint dark to reduce light. Sitting next to the window is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE as it emits so much HEAT in the face when tinted.

I was happy to be seated with my teen daughter. On my arrival flight we were not together. Drink choices were great. Food was ok. Lots of entertainment options. Pilot communicated well and gave us a heads up about wind and turbulence. Made it less anxious.

The flight cancellation and process for getting a new flight was not that clear. United also had some delays that were unexpected. I am the most disappointed by the fact that I originally bought a Lufthansa ticket, only to be flown by United.

Need to have more snacks for the duration and coffee.

All planes flying to Mexico City are very old. Seats don’t even have power outlets.

We booked flight thru Amex travel and it was already a lot of money for economy and no reserved seats until check in. On our flight from fra, we could not check in one passenger online and when we went to the airport, they said he does not have a guaranteed seat and he would be on a waiting list. This was a guaranteed seat and United overbooked. It was sos stressful when at the gate because they didn’t have a seat and the response was yeh, nothing we can do because the industry overbooks. But they knew we had one person with no seat and even up till boarding, they didn’t say anything. We had to go to the counter over 3 times and my husband was so beside himself, I went up and the counter person said yes, you have a ticket. Ohalaa, why wouldn’t they say anything? Leave us in angst the entire waiting time on a delayed flight. That’s poor customer service. On the flight, people would recline seats immediately and not even return them to normal when eating. We were so crammed, I can not fly eco again on Lufthansa or United when international. Other airlines have been better even when we were in economy. Not even worth it to upgrade to business compared to other airlines either. Overall, it was a really bad flight mainly because of the initial boarding and then no oversight over passengers. The flight crew did their best but they should really announce it more that people need to recline seats back. Kids kicking chairs, all the babies crying…must’ve been my worse flight in 15 years.

First, the bathroom was horrible. 2 bathroom stalls at a gate and no soap to wash our hands. We were sitting at the gate for an hour before they decided to check our particulars. The line was long. Boarding was chaotic. Once we boarded, we were put on the bus in the rainy and forced to stand like sandwiches in the bus. All this occurred on Christmas Day.

I think the seats on some of their planes are uncomfortable. You can be ok on a short flight of two hours but no more than that. The delays, and also the refreshments on the plane were not enough.

Ac was broken so we deplaned, waited 2 hours, taxiing for takeoff they said the plane would not fly so we went back to the gate and got a new plane which took another hour. In all a 4 hour delay for an 80 min flight.

On the new 319 NEO? seatback entertainment system did not work even when the flight attendant rebooted it. At least I had my cell phone to connect with wifi.

Terrible, oxygen masks were deployed mid-flight. We returned to airport. Took additional 12 hours to get home.

We were delayed bc ground crew gave the flight crew the wrong paperwork. We taxiied to the runway then back to the gate to get the correct paperwork that no one bothered reviewing the first time we pushed back. Boarding was rude and stressful like it always is. Gate agents and flight attendants are all over 55 years of age, embittered by years of underpayment From AA leading to their passive agressive bitchiness for no reason.

Boarding time was easy & quick. Crew was excellent. In-flight entertainment was great/easy. Seats are too small and not enough room between rows: felt like a sardine/very cramped.

It was good. Flights were all on time to start and landed early. Connections were easy.

Delayed 4 hours from Charlotte to Nashville. Could have driven there faster. Information provided by AA was sparse.

Ground crew forced me to double pay for infant international charges, when I complained about this and told them, with proof, I already paid they threaten to not allow me on the plane because I was “being rude”. Horrible ground management, horrible airline.

Overall it was good but not great. The aircraft was an old and seats didn’t recline in business class unless you kept playing around with it.

The 6 hour delay with minimal updates was not handled well. After many complaints from most of the un-boarded passengers, food vouchers were offered. The catering strike meant there was no food or snacks on the plane. Beverage service was heavily impacted, only water or juice was available. The staff at the gate was kind enough to inform that "if you want to eat on the plane, you will need to bring it on when boarding".

Headphones for the movies have too much bass and can't be adjusted. Almost impossible to hear. Great movie selections but can't really watch them because you can't hear them. Also the system is very slow.

Glad that the plane was not full so my 6' 2" husband didn't have anyone in front of him. We were able to sit in a row with a space between us so he could stretch his legs.

Glasses of water very small, no any snack and at the second time that the air attendant serve water or juice, she ignored us, only some passengers had something to drink.😕

The boarding process in Frankfurt was chaotic and uncomfortable. Everyone was waiting at the gate and had to get up and line up (by escalators which caused problems) to get documents checked. Then wait in line for bus which took us to tarmac where we had to stand in the cold rain outside the plane to climb the stairs to board. The plane ride itself was smooth and as comfortable as could be in economy. Free texting for aero plane members was nice. The food was decent.

I never booked this flight. Someone else did as fraud

Flight delayed two and a half hours from Toronto to Calgary Philadelphia to Toronto we were listed as standbys !!! Very concerning

I did not like the fact that our bags went missing

I got hurt and needed a wheelchair. They were excellent.

Food variety there should be more options or at least more chicken than pasta offers. Multiple times I get left with pasta option only as I usually sit furthest back row.

Spending 10 hours on a flight with no video or wifi access due to issues per stewardess was not enjoyable nor acceptable. Will follow up directly with the airline as well

British Airways canceled our plane and gave us a new flight scheduled to leave in only three hours, so we had to drop everything and rush to the airport. The new itinerary only left us a one hour layover in Madrid, which was too short because the plane landed late and so we missed our connecting flight. We were then booked onto a flight scheduled to take off 8 hours later, and were not given any compensation or remedial measures.

Not as bad as from Newark to London ,but that doesn’t mean I will book with them again

Crammed seats for a 9 hour flight. Entertainment selections very limited

Superb staff, ingenious seating in Club class. Superb food and service. Loading and unloading. Ample cabin overhead luggage space. But the earphone socket was damaged and did not give binaural audio. Very hard to follow a film over the engine noise. Nor could I get to play Sudoku for want of instructions.

The plane seemd untidy and old. Ran out of food and drinks

Chaotic boarding at JNB, last minute gate change with no announcements.

Probably the worst airport in the western world. Unable to self service check in despite have carry on luggage. Check in was T2. Rude reception at check in. Asked why no self service, he said it was new. Asked when it will be self service and he said it’s new. Asked about lounge and he didn’t know. Asked another counter staff and they were more helpful. Gates entrance at T1 so you have to walk to T1 from T2 for security. Long queues at security. Found out this was because the rather authoritarian and rude security staff decided to only let one person loads bags in to security belt when there was room for 3. Guess he didn’t want to be too overwhelmed. After security, I found the lounge. Clean, reasonable. But you then have to walk back to T2 for the gate. What a faff. Cologne airport could be so much better, it’s just not geared up to international travel. Was hoping to make this a future destination to do business but not now.
