You need to weight all bags together because we were 2 and we allowed 4 bags plus hand carry and personal items. We trying to saved bag like we put our stuff in 3 bags so we don’t have to carry more bags and airline also save space time less bags less work. We had only 1.6 kg over and we requested crew he said it’s airline policy that you need separate bag that’s ruined our mod and carry that suit in our hand in plastic bag he didn’t understand that we have less bags that make sense if we brought over luggage then it’s problem. I think if you guys change your policy and weight all together that will be good
Great airline with excellent service! Only drawback was the meat served was overcooked on both flights.
We are thankful for the useful gifts provided by the airline.The entertainment and crew were also very good
Turkish Airline is great! The fact that they provided a hot sandwich for an hour flight is truly amazing. I can't say enough good words but Thank You!
boarding from the lagos airport is always very chaotic. The seats on the place are not comfortable (old planes are always used on this route) and the screen chargers for my phone are both not working (both seats).
I was flying with Turkish Airlines from Tashkent to Dallas and from Dallas to Tashkent. In both directions the flights were late. I missed my connecting flight from Istanbul to Dallas in Istanbul airport because of that. That led to a no show case with a rental company in Dallas and I lost 460 US dollars. On the way from Dallas to Tashkent with a layover in Istanbul the plane was also late and I almost missed my connecting flight to Tashkent. Then my bag did not arrive with the same plane and only on the next morning flight from Istanbul. I was about to leave Tashkent the same day to Astana in Kazakhstan and then from there for work in Saudi Arabia. Luckily I had an excess in time before the next flight and I manage to get my bag back. Otherwise I would have missed 3 flights automatically because I couldn't travel for work without my bag and all valuables in it. So, overall, very bad experience with Turkish Airlines. Will never use these airlines again.
The flight was delayed dur to which I missed my bus from Chicago to Champaign.
I took a nine-hour flight in economy class, and the seats were quite comfortable. I even managed to take a long nap, which rarely happens. There was a good selection of movies, and the complimentary kit included socks, ear plugs, a sleep mask, lip balm, and a toothbrush with toothpaste.
Although we had booked seats months in advance, we arrived at the airport with only three seat assignments for our group of eleven because we had not checked in online and the airline had overbooked the flight. The rest of us had to fly standby, which was a pretty tense situation for a while. Ultimately, we were all very grateful to be on the same flight from Istanbul to Izmir.
Ridiculously slow disorganized boarding, ended up 35 min late and people missed connections
The Cree was BEYOND AMAZING. They were, by far, THE BEST CREW I had the pleasure of flying with. They catered to my every need, beyond friendly, and upheld the highest level of professionalism that is of Lufthansa Airlines.
Really solid flight! The in-flight entertainment screens are not very touch-responsive in the way that of other airlines’ are, which was my only issue. But otherwise we had good food and drink offerings and the flight attendants were very welcoming.
The incoming flight was delayed so boarding didn’t happen on time. Upon landing in Munich, we couldn't pull up to a gate so we had to disembark on the tarmac and be bussed to the main terminal. This caused a mad rush for me and others who were making connecting flights to get to our new gates, and my bag didn’t get over to the new plane in time.
The Frankfurt airport is just not that easy to get around. Having to get from one end of the airport to the other when it was not well marked was a challenge. The flight itself was fine. I would fly with United again.
Lufthansa and United Airlines messed up with our reservation and they canceled our flight to Los Angeles. We ended up stuck in Frankfurt with two little kids. They sent us to San Francisco, but their flight was full and they wanted us to sit separated (even our 3-year-old was supposed to sit separated from me or my husband!!! Isn't it illegal???). Then the flight from San Francisco was delayed and we had two little sleepy kids, we were also told we needed to pick up our luggages. It was just horrible. I paid for a direct flight from Frankfurt to LAX and ended up going through hell. I am very upset and going to submit a complaint.
Crew was good. Check-in and boarding was terrible. Family wasn’t seated together. Online check-in wasn’t available.
I would’ve liked to have made that flight so I didn’t have to go to Munich and have a 24 hour travel day
Flight got canceled after a 2 hr delay followed by the to crew timing out. No help with hotels, crew were rude, only help was via an online chat. Got rebooked for a non-direct flight 48hrs later. They could not have cared less regarding how this could create a medical emergency. They refused to give us access to our luggage because it was stuck in their transit area and had to remain their to be loaded on our next flight…so we have the clothes we have in and nothing else. They told us to “go buy clothes” ignoring the fact that Munich shops are all closed on Sunday. We were told we could get refunded for our expenses BUT one crew member told us it would be wise to spend as little as possible as it will “take forever to get your money returned”. I’ll never fly them again.

It was late, then the bathroom was inoperable plus it was very hot as well. Plane was very old
Mobility assistance at DFW is A JOKE!!! Totally disorganized, ineffective and annoying. Ended up having to walk and find our own way for a good part of the very, very long walk between gates. Worst assistance I have ever experienced.
Pilots were very conscious about giving us a smooth flight
Pilot kept the seatbelt light off for almost the entire flight, so bathroom visits were well spread out. Yes, it was a very smooth ride, but I have been on transatlantic flights where the seatbelt light was almost perpetually on, even though no turbulence. Pickup of meal trays and trash was exceptionally fast and frequent.
Equipment swap led to 2+ hour delay on international flight. And to top it off, boarding took forever.
They cancelled two flight and got us onto another airline, which was also delayed.
The preferred seats where awful. Impossible to use them again
Use planes with TVs on flights over 4 hours. The free entertainment was a cheap in between solution for a very long flight that you don't even bother providing meals or decent snacks.
Even though we left CMI late, we mostly made up the time.
Again, multiple delays and I eventually just canceled and drove!
Amazing! The food was great! Best airline meal ever. The crew was so nice and pleasant.
The plane was crowded, seats narrow, legroom practically nonexistent. The entertainment feature didn't work for my row and nobody was able to/interested in trying to fix it. This was a direct contrast to a very comfortable Lufthansa flight I'd taken from RDU to Frankfurt about a week earlier.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Lufthansa during my round-trip flight, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. **Global Entry Issue**: I added my Global Entry number during check-in, but it did not appear on my boarding pass. This same issue occurred on both my outbound flight to Munich and my return flight to Boston. Despite calling customer service twice for assistance, they were unwilling to help over the phone, which was incredibly frustrating and stressful. 2. **Delays**: Both flights experienced delays, further complicating my travel plans. Punctuality seems to be a significant area of concern for Lufthansa. 3. **Food Quality**: The meals provided were unhealthy, felt cheap, and lacked flavor. Given the airline’s reputation, I expected much better, especially on long-haul flights where meal quality can greatly enhance the travel experience. 4. **Beverage Service**: The beverage cups were disappointingly small and often not filled to capacity, leaving me feeling unsatisfied, particularly on lengthy flights where staying hydrated is essential. I chose Lufthansa based on positive reviews from good friends, but my experience has left me very dissatisfied. I will not be recommending this airline to anyone in the future. Overall, my direct flight experience was far from satisfactory, and I hope they address these issues to improve the experience for future passengers.
We were delayed taking off which caused us to miss the connection to Orlando in Frankfurt. The gate we landed at in Frankfurt was in A terminal and the next flight was c15 which was impossible to get to even running. Very poor planning on Lufthansa’s part.
The plane was clean and the staff courteous and professional. The seat bottom was uncomfortable but only after many hours. It had a pressure point that left me a small bruise on my right leg (very surprising). The pasta was terrible (hard on the edges sticking out and soggy on the bottom edges) but I guess that's how it comes out in a microwave (?). The entertainment was glitching and shutting off every 20 minutes or so but, in the end, we made it home safely with very little turbulence and that's what really matters.
The connection between my income flight and the outgoing flight was slightly late and they would not hold the next flight for 7 minutes. The next flight was 4 hours later and we were issued a stand by ticket. So we had to wait to find out if we would even be on that flight. After boarding that flight was delayed for 40 minutes because there wasn’t a ground crew to load the luggage. The airline is not living up to it reputation.
Loved flying with this airline. Professional, courteous staff who did everything possible to make the long flight comfortable!
I understand that German food tends to bland & tasteless, but please try to incorporate some flavor in your food. Also, always have chicken as one of the options.
The staff was not at pleasant as those on the first leg of our trip.
Cabin crew were not nice. The plane was an hour late arriving.
Flight take off delayed 30 minutes; arrived 15 minutes late. Had to take bus from terminal to plane, delaying boarding and unloading.
Flight delay of 4 1/2 hours with no reason for over 3 hours. Missed our connection in Rome & had to pay for an additional flight.
Berlin airport one of the most inefficient we have ever encountered. We are in our 70’s and we were on our feet 1.5 hours and traveled 4800 steps )2 miles) just to get to our remote gate and security detours.thank god we were there 3 hours before our flight
My flight got cancelled the night before suddenly. They rebooked only half my flights back. I couldn’t contact them for help and then I had to book a separate flight on my own to get to the new flight back that they had booked me on. In Flight services were great. But once the flight got cancelled I was left on my own. Same experience for a traveling partner going to a different destination
My flight out of Miami was delayed by 2 hours which meant I had to quickly make other arrangements for pick-up in Glasgow. A $9 voucher for food was issued. That’s not much of a gesture in my opinion.

The checkin experience was terrible. Once we got to the counter, it took them 40 minutes to check us in. Nothing complicated. Just 6 boarding passes and two checked bags.
Flight crowded - no leg room. Made me put tote bag under seat in front of me so no room for feet. Attendant helped me and put it up. Crew fine. Also British Airways changed our flights without notifying us resulting in a lot of confusion getting through Heathrow - our boarding passes wouldn't scan and we had no idea why. Ended up missing our flight and having to reschedule hours later after a flight from San Francisco. I have the app from BA and never received any notification. Very confusing and staff at Heathrow had no idea what problem was and only one person could resolve and huge line as several canceled flights. What a pain!
Great crew! Average flight. T5 at Heathrow is not such as nice experience compared to other major International airports.
