Food served was very small portion, not enough. Only 2 meal service during 16 hour flight. Not enough beverage service in between."

Pros: "It is so far a cut above the American carriers. There’s no way to compare them, because Qatar Airways is so far superior. The seats are far more comfortable and larger, the amount of legroom is far superior, you have much more personal space, and the craft is cleaner. Flight Attendants are fantastic! They provide excellent personal care, and are there for everything. They are supremely polite and courteous, and bring things in mediately. Very often anticipating your needs. This is what flying used to be like on United and American. But those people have completely forgotten what service is. Qatar is a 5 star airline. United and American, to my view, are 2 star at best."

Pros: "Ground crew was especially helpful to my mother who could not speak English or Arabic, and had never flown before. She also had difficulty walking, so everyone assisted her in the airport and during her long connection in Doha."

Pros: "I flew from Bali to Doha and then Doha to Dulles after an 8 hour layover. Both flights operated a Boeing 777. The planes were spotlessly clean both flights. The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. I would particularly like to commend the purser and the flight attendants on flight 707 DOH-IAD for their assistance and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty"
Cons: "Flight 707 was supposed to have the new Qsuites in Business Class, so it was disappointing that without prior notice the airline switched to an aircraft with normal (but quite good) business class seating. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

Cons: "My luggage was refused at the check-in due to several mistakes from the check-in and Customer service personbil from Qatar. It is now one week after my flight and my luggage is still not with me. I have spend lots of money and written 3 LONG mails to Qatar Customer Service - some have been teplied with a ”we will get back to You” note - but nobody has gotten back to me so far. Not 5 Stars. Actually One star is too good a Grade for this complete service failure from A-Z."

Cons: "The passenger sitting next to me was really sick due to flu. When i explained the situation and asked for masks to the attendant, you guys did not have even one. I was disappointed with that. I think the flight should have some for these kinds of situation so that other passengers can protect themselves. Thanks."

Pros: "If we had arrived on time everything would have been perfect. However I did not arrive in Johannesburg because a flight delay (even though our flight was set to let ontime) caused probably 40 people to miss their connections. To their credit, Qatar Airways did find accommodations for us and gave us food vouchers. Otherwise it'd be a zero rating."
Cons: "Boarding took far too long and caused us to be an hour late. Because of this, I am missing out on events scheduled in South Africa. This is very upsetting and it appears that Qatar Airways is too slow with boarding, there was no explanation given for why it took so incredibly long to board."

Cons: "The crew was not efficient or always looking for shortcut. The specific person assigned never recommended or gave any information about the amenities available rather was waiting to be asked uneasily and was not polite at all. Need to be trained more effectively for such a 5 star airlines."

Cons: "JKIA airport was terrible. Staff were late to come to the check in counters. Why can't they be there earlier than one hour so we don't have to stand in line for so long with our bags. Totally shambolic affair."

Cons: "Seats are small and huge line for the toilet, but that is the nature of the plane and not Qatar's problem. Boarding was only good because passengers did not cooperate adn stood up when they were asked repeatedly not to."

Pros: "The crew on the flight was excellent. They'll bring you pretty much anything reasonable you ask for. In flight entertainment options were many. I don't eat a lot of airline food, but the meals exceeded my expectations."
Cons: "I am quite tall (6'5"/1.92m), the in flight comfort was brutal. It'll take my knees a week or two to forget the constant jamming from the seat in front of me. Otherwise, on boarding was well organized, but very slow. Sound quality on provided headphones was very poor."
