The flight was practically empty!

Paid for comfort, Delta offered free drinks to everyone. Unfortunately though the flight attendant did not bring us the alcohol we ordered and mixed 3 different kinds of whiskey into two glasses! We always are given our bottles separate from the mixer. Oh well. Did to being in so late it took us an hour to get a cab in Detroit.

From pre-boarding, to boarding, to the food, and the attentiveness, everything was top notch! The cleanliness of the plane was only topped by the friendliness of the crew.

The flight was marked at almost 11hrs but ended up being only 9...not a negative other than it meant not spending as much time on board!

The ground crew was very curt and non helpful. Apparently there was a rule that laptops had to be in the checked baggage. The ground crew could have been more courteous with passengers for whom this was a great inconvenience. In my specific case, the person checking me in labelled my bad "Long Stay" instead of "Priority" because they misread the instructions on the computer. The person would not listen to me and would not re-check his potential error....I fly British Airways all the time and that did not seem to make a difference in his demeanor

I liked how the crew was helpful and wanted to help everyone with their luggage. they didn’t disturb me in my sleep and didn’t walked around a lot. The flight timing was on time and it landed on time as well so that was very satisfying.

I didn’t like the sitting of the airplane. It looks more like sitting in a local bus and its not very spacious. On an average these days most people in Canada are tall and above the height of 5’7 feet. I didn’t like how seats are small and have less space for legs and plus the next person to me keep disturbing me cuz he was as tall as me and we both hardly fit in the seat. I am only 6 feet and slim and still had issues. I mean for domestic flight that’s only two hours I can manage sitting in a uncomfortable position but if it was a long flight then i would definitely not be happy and won’t fly with Air Canada again.

Signed up for txt notifications, but not informed of flight dep delays; told repeatedly of 'full flights at del gate but not the case, lots of empty seats; delayed again on arrival, waiting for 'assigned' berthing to open up, which was assigned to another plane; had to walk 'miles' to get to security once inside terminal - why doesn't AirCanada get decent treatment in assigned berthing at Pearson, especially after midnight when there must be hardly any flights arriving...

Stuck sitting in the middle with my carry-on bag, handbag and winter coat, glad I didn't buy any duty-free since there would not have been any room. Food service has declined, no snacks w/drinks, only packaged chips or cookies before landing.

Once boarded, the crew was pleasant and very helpful. It was a smooth flight.

Air Canada check-in at YOW was overwhelmed. There were not enough agents to handle the amount of passengers or flights they had going out. I waited 50 minutes in a check-in line and almost missed my flight. Passengers in front and behind me had the same experience. Air Canada really needs to examine their operations at YOW and manage the situation better.

Flight was very late. Reason given was a mechanical issue but last minute boarding was people whose flight out of Gatwick was cancelled and they were bussed to Heathrow so I suspect that was the real cause for the delay or at least a part of it

Chair had crumbs on it before I sat down-it was easily wiped away meaning no one had cleaned the chairs or looked at them beforehand. Absolutely freezing.
