Cons: "Although for some technical reasons the flight was considerably delayed, there was no action taken either by Qatar Airways or Geneva airport authorities to make the waiting more confortable!! The passengers of economy class and business class were all stacked in the same space (it looked more of a hangar...) Access to this space was only possible by stairs (No elevator - No escalator !!) No drinks offered, not enough chairs to sit and wait......etc The main blame is to put on Geneva Airport Authorities. This airport is a total mess From the moment one arrives at the airport area (access - parking - ..) till the moment of boarding... It should be boycotted by major and quality companies such as Qatar Airways and many others."

The seat itself was broken and I had to put the bottom Cushing back every time I stand up.the cue to the rest room ( one off them has a broken lock so you can't lock it ) was very long and I had to wait for 25 minutes tell I got in ( the first time I waited too long standing in an air plane )"

Cons: "This is an isolated experience on Qatar but a couple of the crew members had poor attitudes. One flight attendant talked down to passengers during boarding and while serving. Another flight attendant acted as if if she was being inconvenienced when asked for water. The seat did not function properly. It would recline on its own which caused constant adjustment throughout the flight."

The chicken was looking something like a small hot dog served with potatoes which is never a part of Hindu meal. Also the curry was less making the passengers eat dry rice. Some passengers had pickle as choice some had some kind of butter to eat with rice and curry which could never be a combination."

Cons: "South African airline did not help with this flight. They blocked me from boarding the flight to Namibia even though I made it on time. I am in Johannesburg and will have to book a hotel for the night at my own expense."

Cons: "we were in the plane for nearly 30 hours due to an air traffic controllers strike in Dakar. During that time we were only served two meals and a sandwich. And during the four hours on the runway in Gambia the crew seemed to disappear rather than offer drinks snacks etc. which would have helped. It seemed to us that SA Airways should have known about the strike before we left Johannesburg and made alternative arrangements rather than making decisions while we sat int he plan on the runway in Gambia and then backtracking to Ghana."

In addition, one flight attendant's standard response when he didn't hear something well was "heh?" rather that "excuse me" or "could you please say that again?". Also the headphones given out were of poor quality."

Cons: "The crew that was on my flight was the least professional and accommodating crew I have had flown with. There was a man in a row in front of me who needed to lie down during our 10-hour flight, but rather than graciously re-seating others in his row so that he could lie down (which would have been easy given that there were numerous empty seats), they yelled at him and told him that he would have to sit upright because other passengers "paid for those seats." The other passengers in this man's row resolved the issue by moving to empty seats of their own volition, but the crew's attitudes and behavior - especially yelling - made for an unpleasant experience. Additionally, the crew balked at responding to requests that are a normal part of their job, such as providing water. Finally, I had $200 worth of items stolen out of my checked baggage, which I discovered upon arrival at my final destination."
