Seats were surprisingly comfortable for an economy ticket. Leather, plush, with good cushioning. Decent leg room. Takeoff and landing were on time. Recommend.

Friendly, welcoming...I bothered one attendant a couple times for more water as I was very thirsty, and then asked for a beer after the beverage service was over. Often flight attendants will act as if you're demanding a foot massage or something, but this particular guy was very nice. All of the crew that I interacted with was just lovely."

I found a latam person that wasn't really dealing with this situation and managed to get him to talk to other latam staff about my visa appointment. It was pretty stressful for me to have to deal with the possibility of missing such an important event without a good reason."

I was ready at 6:15 AM and the bus was full. I waited for second bus. No breakfast at the hotel. Flight to Santiago was uneventful and crew during the flight were polite."

Now, on my way back, there was a 5 hour delay. The treatment was much better than other airlines, but it would have been better to let us know that we could track the plane from GDL. Now my only complaint regarding the small airplane from MTY to NYC is that the entertainment is provided via a mobile device, yet there's no ports for charging it, and there's no way a device will last that long, which made the whole excercise totally useless."

Boarding crew member insisted I was over the limit (when though at check-in, the staffer saw how many pieces I had and made no comment) and she insisted I had to check one item AND pay the baggage fee. But this was a problem only because it was a full flight, and I was being punished just because my seat was in a tow closer to the front and boarded later, therefore there was less room left in the overhead bins. Also seemed ridiculous to charge for the first checked bag, with most other reputable airlines, there is no fee for the first checked bag for international flights."

It was a spinach salad with balsamic vinagrette dress (in a cute little bottle), chicken breast over rice, a piece of cheese and grapes, a kitkat bar and some other little thing. Cons: "It was a red eye and meals were served. Why? It's an overnight flight!! Also, when booking my reservation I was not told there would be a meal. As I am a vegetarian I was not able to request one. So I was woken up to people talking and eating and I could not myself eat anything. The "dimmed" cabin lights were bright. Crew members were not respectful of passengers sleeping as they talked in normal voices. I also found it very rude that I asked a crew member for a pillow and he said they didn't have any without even checking. Which I don't believe. Overall it was an awful experience and I will never fly Aeromexico again. I am going to tell all my friends and family to never fly this airline."
Cons: "Unfortunately, I was not able to go on this trip because I recently found out I am pregnant and the risk due to the current Zika virus makes traveling out of the question. Aeromexico was NOT understanding at all. Their only offer was a 1 year voucher from the time I purchased my ticket. I purchased my ticket in October 2015 (before the Zika outbreak and before being pregnant) and I will still be pregnant in October 2016 so that voucher is completely useless to me. I basically lost $900. Even though I repeatedly tried to explain my situation to customer service and had a letter from my doctor it didn't matter they just repeated their voucher line over and over. Needless to say I will NEVER purchase airline tickets from Aeromexico again and that is a real shame for them because I have a timeshare in Mexico which I plan on enjoying with my growing family for years to come."
I missed it because of the delay in the other flights. Attendants in the airport sent me from one side to the other many times due to poor information.
There was a delay in NYC, so to take the connection in Miami I had to run across the airport. Then the flight delayed in Miami, and the schedule in GRU - São Paulo was too tight, so I missed the flight to Porto Alegre. When coming from international flights, the connection time needs to be more spaced because of immigration bureaucracy.

Cons: "Seriously, a sandwich and some indistinguishable "dessert". Honestly, I can't tell you what the 2nd item was on the try, even after trying it. I get that the flight was only 3 hours long, but a sandwich is not dinner. And, it tasted horrible. I took 3 bites and couldn't stomach the rest. It was laughable that they offered wine with it. Had I realized this was the option, I would have brought my own food. My husband, who eats literally everything, couldn't even eat it, and it was a cheese sandwich. How hard is it to make a bad cheese sandwich? Well, apparently, GOL knows how to do it."
