Excellent crew who were always willing to help with my fondness for a beer. Food was as expected and up to the standard of Singapore Airlines. All round it was a long trip made a lot easier......5 stars."

Staff is always friendly and happy...they really seem to absolutely love their job! Free toiletries in the bathrooms are an extra plus. Whenever there was a change in schedule / plans the captain informed the passengers immediately about what was going on and what would happen next."
Cons: "The only thing that did and probably always will be AWFUL is going thru security at JFK. The T S A officials there are unfriendly, sometimes rude, never smiling and often yelling at you or even little kids or elderly people. We are travelling a lot and no other security staff at any given airport is so unfriendly and harsh. Worst thing about going on a journey."

Cons: "Waiting on line to check in was more than a half hour although there were probably only 10 people ahead of me. Got a hard time on the weight of my carry-on being more than 7kg although I had to point out that my ticket allowed me two bags that were 23kg each - I had nothing to check. Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."

My wife and I both took note that the flight attendants were "First Class" with emphasis on class. Exceptionally well groomed, but also conveyed genuine concern and helpfulness and at the same time, real workers, energetic and perky. We are bragging to all our friends about the uplifting cultural demeanor of Singapore Airlines. They should all get a pay raise. I will always remember their wonderful service when thinking about our trip to Frankfurt, Germany. Robert"

At any time I was supported by the staff and even if it was busy they constantly had a kindness and smile in their face. I don't fly with any other airline on long distance flights! It was clean and neat on top at any time. I love flying with Singapore airlines. I feel safe and in good hands all around. This is how service should be at any airline! Cons: "It was an 8 our overnight flight to another time zone where we had a full day ahead of us so we needed all the sleep we could get but instead we were fed around midnight. Lights went out for about two hours, it seemed, before we were told to put our chairs upright for the person behind us so they could serve another meal. We arrived about 10am completely shattered."

The comfort of the chairs recline and foot rest that raised up was great. The big tray table that tucked away was nice. And side pockets for your stuff was great. The comfort of the bigger seats was just excellent and they looked newer. On my flight back from Frankfurt to NYC that was the best flight I ever have taken."

However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. I ended up not having food nor water for my son nor myself and of course no service on the flight. It was a miserable day to say the least."

Overhead bins full of spare plastic cups. As far as the crew are concerned, no problem, because you can just push your way three or four rows forward while everyone else is boarding and then take someone else's overhead space. When will Air Canada learn how to run an airline?"

Pros: "Our flight boarded slightly later than expected but ended up taking off on time. Flight crew was courteous and provided water the entire time to ensure everyone was hydrated. In flight entertainment was nicely done with a personal touch screen headrest TV that had ample TV and movies to choose from. We landed slightly ahead of schedule and by the time I got to baggage claim, my oversized bag (snowboard bag) was already waiting for me."

Air Canada attendant at Newark said the flight was always delayed and passengers regularly needed to be rebooked. You should recommend air Canada cancels selling this itinerary or bringing the Newark flight forward to de risk any delays"

Cons: "All three Air Canada flights that I had to take on this itinerary were late including the 2nd one which was six hours late. Air Canada personnel on this 2nd flight did not do a good job of communicating information to the customers during the delay. Air Canada booked be on a 3rd night that lead me to only get 3 hours sleep in a hotel. AC does not work with the customers when booking flights. they just make changes after the previous flight has left the ground."
