Flights delays were communicated timely and helpfully, but there was a significant delay without any real effort to make up for that. Also, the in-flight WiFi was very spotty. That said, this was my first time with Southwest and I was quite happy with the service and staff otherwise.

The Southwest airline was ok. A big thank you to Kayak team (David), who worked with me on Sunday afternoon to rebook my travel from Burbank, CA, to CVG. Seated at front bulkhead for a smidge extra leg room away from home and on flight back home. Away crew was very proactive about assuring our carryons had space close behind us (because no seat in front of us our personal items had to be in a small bin overhead). They actively required passengers place overhead luggage on its side so more items could fit in bins. Home crew made no such efforts. I had to struggle back rows to get overhead bags upon landing, no crew help then either, and some disgruntled passengers as I and others retrieved our bags. There was a system that worked pretty well. The home bound crew just didn't feel like working.
Southwest has inacted unfriendly customer policies like other airlines. Watch the fine print very carefully if you are having to alter flight arrangements. Rules are now complicated and very stilted to travelers sacrificing travel funds (unlike before where the simple, straight forward flight change policy was worth the extra premium for ticket price.) On the positive side, SW Flight crews are still wonderfully helpful.

Check-in, Boarding and flight were smooth. All the employees and crew was very nice and funny. They gave the kids crayons and workbooks to keep them occupied which was a big win. I’ve flown Southwest many times and that’s the first time I’ve seen that and it is a great addition.
Southwest never has accurate baggage claim policy information at Denver. They list one claim on the screens and invariably baggage is eventually found on another claim with zero help from staff.
Flight Staff: Always great! Checking back vs carry-on: I typically check my bag since so much time is spent stowing the bag, it's heavy, maybe not enough room. Delta is charging $45 to check bags. Yet, the people who have multiple carry-on bags are then asked to check their bags and are offered this service for free. This does not seem fair to a person who is trying to be proactive in improving the process . Boarding: Boarding is always slow and exhausting. With the exception of First Class, Economy, why not board the zone in the back of the plane first??? Seats: Why cross the seat belts? I get that it looks nice, but people waste so much time moving them or sitting on them and then having to move. Seats: On both my flights the seat did not recline. Not a big deal. Smell: There was a horrific smell like the restrooms on my first flight. I thought I was going to be sick. Most flights do not smell great. Does Delta use air purifiers or anything?
Flight was delayed before take off and at landing. Baggage took 20 minutes. Flight crew would not serve full soft drink and had to ask multiple times before receiving water.
For some reason, TSA Atlanta didn’t have my bag on the flight on time and they don’t have to provide Delta a reason for that.

The landing was the worst I’ve experienced with a flight.
It was last minute due to weather - considering - it was amazing! Good smiles, friendly staff and they were making sure we knew what was going on when and where.
All good on Delta's part. Passengers could be a little more courteous to each other.

Of course, the Gate change was last minute and they were boarding g when we finally got to the change of terminal as well.
No complaints - left 20 minutes later than planned but still arrived on time.
It was fine for the most part. But the volume on the announcements was way too loud, and the cabin temperature was chilly. We had the hardest landing I've ever experienced- I think it hurt my back, and the tires squealed when we touched down.
Great, except the canon was so cold. Even the flight attendants put jackets on

This is related to my second leg of the flight, from Washington DC to SFO. I understand things happen, but I got home at 3 am for a 12:59 am landing. I live 10 min from the airport. Bridge breaks when a few rows of the plane are off? Maintenance didn’t catch that?
It was good overall except from Omaha to Denver when flight a was a repeatedly delayed apparently due to some issue at Denver. Communications could have been handled better. I had to board then deboard with luggage and board again
Awful. No counter attendants. No dinner offered due to delays.
There were issues with the first segment but what really bothered me overall is that you rebooked me and put me in a seat away from my wife and then put her in another booking or boarding group. I don't like having to monitor every little thing you guys do in order to get what I paid for in the first place.
The staff was phenomenal. I can’t think of anything that could be better. Will be flying with UA again
I had very little time to change planes originally in Denver after my flight from Omaha. I had an hour and a half layover in Denver originally and my flight leaving Omaha was delayed an hour because they had to change a tire which I can understand. When I reached Denver my other flight was late, fortunately, but I still had only 10 minutes to run about a mile through the airport to get to my flight. Again, fortunately I am a healthy 71-year-old and was able to accomplish this feat. However, the stress was more than necessary to bear.
Sat on tarmac at arrival at DFw for more than 30 min waiting for a gate.

For the price of the ticket you get nothing. The plane had 1 bathroom in the back and when the flight attendant did service no one could use it. No announcement just was told to go back to my seat. Ridiculous and rude.
In-flight Wi-Fi didn’t work and the flight was 25 minutes late. The Embraer plane I was on was pretty old and the tray table was broken.
American Airlines no longer has Bischoff biscuits. This is intolerable.
