this flight was unnecessarily delayed. it was possible to have an earlier connection
Worst flight experience I've ever had and I'm 70+ years old. In Dublin we were diverted from JFK to Hartford due to "mechanical problems" and told we'd be met at the gate and provided ground transportation to JFK. Approximately 30 others going to either JFK or Boston were told the same thing and joined us on a half empty flight to Hartford. When we landed there was no representative at the gate, no ground transportation provided, and no effort to help us. A little investigation on cell phones revealed both the Boston and JFK flights left on time (and I'm guessing full). Needless to say the customers were quite upset. Some even raised their voices which caused the kid representatives of Aer Lingus to call the state troopers (really). When the troopers did nothing the Aer Lingus reps locked themselves in their office rather than deal with their customers. After 2 hours of waiting for the promised ground transportation we gave up, rented a car, and drove ourselves to our destination at our own expense. We were never provided even a free drink. Horrible. Lies upon lies upon lies. I'll never consider flying with them again
Good crew, clean plane, smooth fight. I slept a lot of it, I must have been comfortable.
I would have liked complimentary coffee
The crew was pleasant and accommodating to me, my wife, our 3-year-old and 1-year-old for both legs. The planes were in good shape and everything was on time. The balthrooms were clean and felt spacious. I didn't eat the dinner because we ate a large dinner before the long flight. I did tasted it and it was good. The selections of movies was also very good.
Thw system they use for in flight entertainment was a little glitchy.
Crew was lovely.
timeliness of departure time in flight service quality in flight food offering other than main meals friendliness of flight crew linguistic capabilities of flight crew
touch screen for in flight entertainment did not work very well
Very comfortable flight. Good crew member little little bit uptight but expected. Efficient and on time
Need to upgrade mefia hardware to 21st century.
Timeliness of departure time Ease of navigating airport to find departure gate
Nothing comes to mind Good flight over all
Lufthansa pilots are some of the best in the industry and the flight was extremely smooth from take off to landing. There were bouts of turbulence but the pilot immediately changed altitudes to steer away from it. Flying on the 748 is a pleasure and it's a shame these great planes will eventually all be phased out in favor of more fuel efficient 787s and their Airbus counterparts.
Having to pay 86€ for a second suitcase that weighed just 15kg. In JFK they didn't charge me but Germans always go by the book. I think for the price of the ticket and lower gasoline costs compared to the height of the recession this is simply outrageous. Next time I'll pay for economy plus. You get a seat that is wider than economy but a little bit less legroom than a business one and the second baggage is included. The meal was nothing special but the friendliness of the flight attendants made up for it.
LATE!! This is rediculous for a flight company not to be able to board on time so I miss my connection and get stuck for 6 hours
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
