In general, I've had excellent experiences with Iberia flights and will continue to use them. In this last flight there were two things that didn't go right. I didn't get the kosher meal I had pre-requested when I had checked in on-line. Things worked out OK as we ended up eating the fish and vegetarian choices, which were really good. The other issue was that some movies for me and my wife started fine but after 8-12 minutes the content just switched to something else. The flight attendant reset our entertainment systems, but the problem persisted. We ended up choosing other movies/TV shows that did work fine.

Everything went smoothly, and we even arrived 40min earlier than scheduled, on an Orland-Madrid route.

I had an issue with the name on my ticket vs my passport name. I was very upset that the Iberia ticket clerk had no authorization to help me and I was left to fix it. It took 19 calls of persons promising to accomplish and not doing anything before I reached someone who helped me in 10 minutes. Two of them even hung up on me. I missed my original flight because of this. Terrible customer service.

Everything OK , except the plane left more than an hour late so I couldn’t participate in an excursion I had that morning in Brcelona

The crew on this flight was probably the worst I have ever come across. This applies particularly to Karen and Lee (possibly Jason) - the short, overweight pompous guy - arrogant and rude are possibly too kind a description. This Lee/Jason obviously failed his exams at Charm School, and frankly, in my view, needs to be dismissed immediately. Karen was similar to the guy in attitude, but not quite as rude.

Problems at check in with prepaid luggage causing delays with both flights, noticeably old and dated planes, onboard luggage bags (BA small luggage size) too big for centre overhead luggage boxes (dangerous if opened) no Wi-Fi available on outward flight, food on inbound flight atrocious, food/drink service on inbound below par.

Since our connecting American Airlines flight was delayed we missed our originally scheduled flight. That meant there were no business class seats available, so we got the last two premium economy seats on the next day’s flight.

I liked the friendly crew and desk staff, all very helpful. I was surprised and a little annoyed on my outbound flight from LGW to MCO as I had prepaid and booked my seat, which was all correct at check in on my boarding pass. when I got on the plane someone was in my seat ! I was moved to another seat. The food choice is quite limited and I feel that an option of a muffin for breakfast snack would be welcomed, not everyone wants egg or bacon wrap. The choice of entertainment is good, plenty to keep you busy on a long haul flight. I liked the option offered to have the cabin bag checked into the hold, it saved me as an older, lone traveller lifting my case into the overhead locker or finding there was no space.
