Pros: Crew, food, plane itself
Cons: Flight delayed by 3+ hours, very little info given to passengers, slow boarding
Pros: The flight attendants were amazing!!
Cons: Passengers were loud, carried too much carry on luggage, and were generally crude.
Cons: Baggage took forever. Everyone’s bags
Pros: The Pilot was very nice and fast. Got us to Newark in 1 hour and 40 minutes
Cons: Seats, communication, everything
Pros: The crew was very friendly.
Cons: This was a very very old plane and the entertainment option was terrible. The 3.5 mm ports were all messed up, and I tried 4 different ones. The TVs flickered and were extremely tiny. There were only 3 movies to chose from. The seats were terribly uncomfortable and the one in front of me was falling apart. The crew said that they cleaned plane prior to everyone boarding but it was visibly dirty.
Pros: Crew was nice, flight was smooth.
Cons: The plane was not boarded back to front because large parties were not broken up and therefore not social distanced.
Cons: Everything was nice 👍
Pros: Yes seats were okay.
Cons: In my trip from SJU to MCO before the boarding a crew member give us a package with disinfectant tissues and hand sanitizer in order to clean our space. In the flight from MCO to SJU don't do that.
Pros: Everyone spaced apart on flight. Snacks handed out in individual presorted packs.
Cons: Surprised they didn’t check everyone’s temperature before boarding.
Cons: The power outlets did not work.
Cons: Great value!
Pros: The extra leg room was great!
Cons: This flight was for my wife and I's honeymoon and it was a miserable experience. The flight was delayed by several hours with no specific expectation of when it would actually leave. We were just continually told “soon”, “shortly”, “in an hour” all night long. If we were given a specific time then we could have planned on at least trying to sleep for a little while. It wouldn’t have been near the same inconvenience if it was during the day except it was during night when no stores were open to buy food or a pillow to try and sleep. The airline wasn’t able to get any pillows or blankets for us. Luckily we still made it on our cruise before it left but with no sleep it left us pretty miserable trying to recuperate from that night.
Pros: The crew was very friendly
Cons: Boarding. No clear lines. Everyone is all over the place.
Pros: Very well organized, smooth boarding, early arroval
Pros: The flight delayed from 8.55 pm to 1.46 am. Arrived at white Plains 3.38 am
Pros: The crew and leg room are really good compared to comparable flights on United, Delta or American. Especially love the power plug behind the seats.
Cons: Couldn't watch any movies, and most of the DirectTV movies would not play. I was in seat 24 F, and 24 E had the same issue. They told us the reset the system, but it didn't help. Still, plenty of entertainment and on an actual screen on the back of the seat. So I consider it only a dissapointment on an otherwise good airline.
Pros: The entertainment was beyond amazing and made the flight so much more enjoyable. I actually was disappointed we landed so soon.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect and I would fly jetblue again.
Cons: Very bumpy flight, live TV was not working, pilot speed was not smooth.
Cons: Nothing else
Cons: Late and shifting "reasons."
Pros: The entire trip was comfortable I have no complaints
Pros: I wish I had the flight attendants names. The gate agent and one of the flight attendants were amazing with the way they took time to greet us, address our concerns about the delayed flight and their friendliness.
Pros: Lots of room between the seats.
Pros: I like the fact that the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Seats were comfortable but poor condition (old). WiFi was nice as well.
Cons: The flight was delayed twice and then jump back to the original time according to the JetBlue app. I had also called the airport I was departing from, and they're updated system said it was the original time, as well. Then they offered 2 wave the fees for cancellation or change of itinerary. So I went to go do that for the next day, because my flight wouldn't land in till 3 in the morning. But right as i clicked the confirm button, it said that offer was no longer eligible. And then it got changed again to the second alert which was 11:40 something, for departure. I understand that there was a severe thunderstorm and tornado watch, and warnings along the surrounding cities, however the continually changes in time, JetBlue and mco were not update with each other, it changed so much, so fast.
Cons: They really shouldn’t take 20 minutes to advertise their credit card mid flight.
Pros: The inflight crew was amazing. Natalie was a sweetheart and super helpful. She even gave some of us a tour of the galleys and taught us a few things about Mosaic customers as well as a few other operational things. I didn’t catch the other flights attendants names as they covered more of the back of the plane but they were both insanely hospitable and it was very clear that they loved their jobs as they were having fun. The women who checked us in also accommodated is with Even More Space seats after knowing we were crew members!
Cons: As a non-rev I have no room to criticize. Only thing would be that the A/C model was an older version of the A320 (and I know that it will be updated eventually)
Pros: Was a great flight until after landing at DCA, no gates were available.
Pros: No turbulence
Cons: It was all good
Pros: Great flight attendant especially the gentleman!!! Super helpful even with a bunch of cranky New Jerseyians on a delayed flight!
Cons: Too hot! AC was going on and off??
Cons: JetBlue delays empty flights until Full to Pomce or From Ponce. Dice people who usually travel are old person is easily managed to feed them with mechanical problems or some other excuse. This route back or forth only works on time in high season, which usually are the common holidays of the year, other than this skip it, the delays turns flight into a nightmare pushing the wait, and travel, as a direct flight to Los Angles leaving form San Juan or a total hour of 10+
Cons: The plane was miserably cold, with tempuratures dipping well into the 50s on the aircraft. I was shivering and sneezing the entire time, guests in the row in front of my had their leather jackets over their faces. Air was pummeling me in the window seat. It was the most miserable 2 hours on a plane I have ever experienced, and I have been on thousands. I would highly reconsider the tempuratures on the plane seeing as that this could severely sicken children and elderly. I have never experienced this before.
Pros: All our flights with jetblue were excellent
Pros: The boarding process was fast and easy. Finding the seats was easy. The inflight snacks were acceptable.
Cons: The flight announcer at the beginning of the flight was super unprofessional. They kept having to stop their script in order to laugh and giggle. Had I not already know how to do the safety procedures, I wouldn't have learned it from him. The seat belt barely fit me. Now, to be fair, I am fat. But, when I had to suck in to belt in, there was no slack on the end. The seat 31C has a busted aux port. I tried to watch a movie, first off the closed captioning didn't work. So I tried to listen. The aux port wiggled in it's casing and there was so much static that there was no point in listening. The off boarding process was very slow and uncoordinated. I understand that they have to off board in a certain order. However, the flight announcer could have kept the rest of the plane updated on the process. Instead we had to sit in claustrophobic silence and fidget while the line of passengers in the aisle did not move.
Pros: Traveling with Jet Blue was one of the best flying experiences I've had in recent memory. Quick boarding, kind flight attendants, on-time arrivals, free in-flight wifi, and excellent prices. What more can you ask for?
Cons: My seat didn't recline, but then I was relocated to an even more room seat, so I really have no complaints.
Pros: All the staff members were very friendly and helful. The seating was very comfortable with lots of leg rom. Both flights were on-time and the in-flight service was very good!
Cons: Idiots from jetblue change my flight because my wife was a little bit drunk... this is ridiculous!!! I will complain definitely!!! F**ing jet blue
Cons: Major delays Orlando Terminal did not have good food options JetBlue did not offer anything for their delays or even provide an explanation. It would be courteous to receive vouchers as the delay was for an extended period of time.
Cons: Late - delayed on both ends of the flight
Pros: The flight was great.
Cons: The tv controls didn’t work
Pros: JetBlue out of Marine Air Terminal at LGA is a game changer for this New Yorker. It made our lives unbelievably easier - no airport madness, quick security, friendly staff, and timely departure and arrival. It also makes it super easy to get a ride or rideshare (such as Lyft) to pick you up.
Pros: Unexpected snacks and a decent variety of drinks.
Cons: It was super cold throughout the flight.
Pros: Left on time and arrived early both ways.
Pros: Super friendly crew they were not mask Nazis it was nice
Cons: Super friendly crew they were not mask Nazis it was nice
Pros: The crew was great and very friendly.
Pros: I felt safe on this flight. Middle seats were empty, plane seemed clean, masks, etc. were in place. I flew Sun Country a few weeks prior to this and flight was overcrowded and COVID precautions were way insufficient.
Pros: No middle searing.
Cons: The tv did not work. The temperature was hot the whole flight. No airflow.
Pros: The crew was amazing. But there were to many people on the flight for what’s going on. There were middle seats sold and people were upset.
Pros: Everything about the flight was good.
Cons: long delay in boarding
Cons: I checked in last night for my flight and get to the airport early to check my bag but My seat Was given away because they said I did not check in, even though I went through security WITH MY BOARDING PASS. Then they Assign me a new seat and when I got on the flight, someone was in my seat
Pros: Entertainment was up to date.
Pros: Crews were friendly
Pros: Delta’s crew is the best part about flying delta!
Pros: Delta service is always great!
Pros: Crew were great, on time, helpful, friendly.
Pros: More room in Delta Coach than other carriers
Cons: The delayed at the gate looking for passengers, could have been avoided by doing cross checks at the counter. The snacks need to change. For someone who flies every week like me, the cookies and cheeze it’s get old. Some variety will be awesome.
Pros: Accurate arrival time
Pros: No carry on fee, comfortable seat and pitch
Cons: Displays for zone boarding status would be helpful
Pros: Zero turbulence
Pros: On time
Cons: Not enough seat room on plane. Hot not enough air flow
Pros: It was good organized. Staff were polite friendly and helpful. There was no craziness from the passengers. I loved the flight attendants were normal people. I saw older and plus size attendants. Given this diversity I am more likely to fly delta.
Cons: Flight delayed 30 minutes on tarmac but holiday week so it could have been much worse. Slow deboarding process and air conditioning was not running and with the full flight it wS uncomfortable.
Pros: Cincinnati airport was clean and efficient
Cons: MCO airport gate was a mess and did not have easy access to charge phones.
Pros: Boarding was quick and prices were fair
Cons: I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!
Pros: Staff were very good.
Cons: We had an infant and in order to get a meal for the baby one of our paid seats did not get a meal. Very unsatisfactory for first class. The toddler meal provided was terrible. Stale bread, cheese on the sandwich was so bad the baby wouldn't eat it, and he eats almost everything. It was the first food I have seen him refuse to eat.
Pros: Waiting in the departure lounce was ok
Cons: Boarding was kind of stupid Delta is boarding in Zones and starts at the front instead of starting boarding passangers sitting at the back of the plane and moving forward NO they do it the wrong way and due to that boarding takes to long and makes you frustrated.
Cons: Flight was late by almost 2 hours.
Pros: flight was on time..arrived early..friendly staff..
Pros: Safely made it from Florida to LAX on time with no incidents
Pros: Nice upgrade since we didn’t have seats! Delta was a good flight but don’t ever wanna fly on Aeromexico again!
Cons: Had all my jewelry stolen from my luggage!
Pros: The airline itself did a good job.
Cons: The Orlando terminal in Florida is the worst I have experienced. It's chaotic, the employees are extremely rude, there are no good restaurants, or stores, TSA is the worst at this airport. Avoid Orlando at all cost.
Pros: Flight was good.
Cons: we had a l long wait getting to the gate. Once we are the gate the delta staff had a hard time getting a wheelchair victim on the plane.
Pros: The boarding was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The plane was clean.
Cons: I wasn’t able to upgrade my seats because they were booked through a third party. I’ve never sat that far back in a airline.
Pros: Crew members were very nice and friendly and dealt with the desire for passengers to switch seats in a very nice way even with annoying passengers.
Cons: Sadly due to turbulence there was no beverage service and a very rushed snack service which I know wasn't their fault but just overall flight okay.
Pros: Loved the easy check-in process, bag drop-off, boarding and flight.
Cons: Not applicable.
Pros: On time as scheduled.
Cons: There was no tv screen, so if you don’t have a smart phone or tablet you can’t access to the entertainment. Also you should warn passengers to download the Gogo entertainment app because it’s very slow to do it in the flight
Pros: boarding process was good food was okay not great not bad entertainment was good flight attendants and service excellent
Cons: food could have been better but arriving to destination safely is most important
Cons: I was told there was no more room for luggage on the plane. I had to check my luggage in and a lady behind me went with her luggage --- in fact 3 more people slip in.
Pros: Many thanks to Delta for changing our flight at an even exchange to get us out of Florida before the storm. I will fly delta again.
Cons: Old plane to and from San Antonio. New planes make for a more comfortable ride
Pros: The entertainment is good; several new movies
Cons: The dirty seats, the awful food and wine
Pros: The crew was really friendly and helpful. The plane was really clean
Cons: The boarding process was too long, there was a lot of people. It was kinda a mess. The sit assignment for people who didn't have sit assign was slow.
Cons: My status as elite plus was no considered to get a good seat or the chance to upgrade. The frequent flyer number from Aeromexico was not passed correctly to Delta aystem and it caused all these issues
Pros: Flight was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the basics of drinks, snacks, carry-on, seat selection, and entertainment for the price of what other airlines charge for just a flight with nothing else included.
Pros: Plane was clean, staff helpful
Cons: Had to buy a one-way ticket on American, as Delta would not move me to another airline,
Pros: Delta sent a text which notified that our flight was to be delayed and we were free to seek an alternative flight. Delta was able to get us on an earlier Flight land then delivered our luggage the next morning. Delta sent an e-mail with the driver's picture, name and picture of the vehicle. The driver called to notify he was on the way. Excellent service.
Cons: it took 7hours due to storms
Pros: Staff did a good job boarding the plane.
Pros: Not a single thing. Worse experience every flying with an airline
Pros: Entertainment system and extremely on tolime!
Cons: Very good I like it👌
Cons: I didn’t wanted to check my carry on. But the man at the gate decided that I had to check the carry on, and took it from my hand without question. When I went boardered the airplane there was a lot of spaces in the overhead bins.
Pros: Empty seat between us. Entertainment was good. Bags made it to the baggage claim before we did!
Cons: Flight attendant had an attitude when I boarded. I went to put my carryon item in overhead compartment and she questioned me asking my seat number. My seat included a carryon and she had an attitude for no reason.
Cons: Seat comfort
Pros: Kinda confusing the train finding the gates
Cons: Seat too cramped
Pros: Crew was great! Aircraft had the tv’s in the back of the seats, so we got to watch movies and be entertained. Flight was smooth and landing was perfect. Couldn’t ask for better!
Cons: Everything went great!
Pros: Entertainment selection. Flight was short and pretty comfortable
Cons: Flight was too packed. Limited restrictions with COVID.
Pros: Great crew.
Cons: I would like the formal return of beverages and snacks. I understand the lack thereof is due to the virus. I think the airlines are doing a good job of staying within safety recommendations.
Cons: The fact that I can’t purchase a drink is ridiculous! I am willing to pay $8 for a can of beer and still can’t buy one. I believe many companies are using the coronavirus excuse as cost saving measures.
Cons: Staff gave us a hard time with our 15 month old sons luggage. Almost missed our flight as a result
Cons: Serve cofee
Pros: Crew was amazing. Went well above the call of duty working until 3AM to get our very delayed flight to Philadelphia.
Cons: Flight was super delayed.
Cons: The connection in Miami didn’t happen - the flights crew on the ORLANDO yo to Miami flight were rude and unhelpful - the plane sat in the tarmac waiting for a gate so flight arrived 15 minutes before planned departure - we inquired as to whether the plane would be held - response- despite having internet access was “ I don’t know “ you’ll have to check with gate agent - oh and by the way the flight attendant was virtually laying on the front seats - she as grossly obese and was so large as he walked the aisles she would hit passengers every time she turned around - we ran to the gate arriving 8 minutes before departure - gate was shut two gate agents were reading social media posts on their phones - we inquired about the flight - the gate agent said “ you missed the flight “ and then sat down and continued on her phone - the other one at least looked up and told us where to them go for assistance - eventually we were assisted and offferd 1 to wait u til the next day to go or to go through London - we took the London option. 1. I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. 2. Flight attendants and gate agents will bankrupt the airline with their horrible attitude. - they should be fired.
Pros: Everything went smooth and comfortably. So that’s a good thing
Cons: Crying babies, but ya know, there’s not a whole lot ya can do about that
Cons: the pilot gave us a hard landing in Jamaica
Pros: Crew was amazing!
Cons: Food was very nominal considering the 8 hour flight even for a small female like myself. One sandwich and chips and one serving of snacks. Also the temperature on the plane was extremely warm.
Pros: Smooth flight
Cons: If there were no delays
Cons: Boarding slow
Pros: Crew was very nice and professional.
Cons: Plane was very hot and cramped.
Cons: Nothing, great job
Cons: Missed the flight due to poor staff and a delayed landing from my crossover. Given how childish the ground staff were being, I can only assume the flight staff wouldn't be much better.
Pros: The crew was extremely friendly
Cons: Boarding time. It took forever
Pros: How fast it was
Cons: No tv
Pros: Offered a seat in the exit row at the gate. Accepted it, of course. Duh.
Cons: Boarding was very slow with so many passengers wanting to carry on all their earthly belongings. I was unaffected as I had checked my bag at the gate, but for some there was no room at all. Some early boarders were allowed to exceed the one-bag in the overhead rules.
Pros: The plane was nice and clean. Boarding went well and staff nice on boarding. Service was smooth though food not great but then it is airplane food. The morning continental food was nicely packaged and good.
Cons: The plane boarded and left gate a little late but had a maintenance issue with one of its doors so plane had to return to gate. We finally got off the ground almost three hours late but staff tried to be as helpful as possible though they didn’t know much. It was good the passengers seemed fairly patient and accepting. The horror was at the airport in Venice where it took over two hours in very long line just to get through passport check.
Pros: Loved how nice all the staff was to us ! Super friendly and accommodating.
Cons: All Airplanes have tiny seats, and first class is just too expensive for retired people to buy.......
Cons: Delay and bumpy landing
Pros: Flight was pleasant and all the crew members were courteous.
Cons: It doesn't have anything to do with AA, but TSA processing at Orlando International is very slow.
Pros: Arrived in Dallas early
Cons: 1. Flight crew stopped coach passengers in the middle of boarding to take drink orders from first class passengers. Very rude and unnecessary. 2. Flight crew allowed passengers to wait for the restroom next to the pilot access door. At least five times with single passengers waiting and once with two waiting. Crew said nothing. 3. Flight crew did not check seatbelts prior to takeoff in the forward section of coach. At least one seatbelt remained unsecured and one child had a backpack on his lap during takeoff. Very unprofessional crew. Credit card promotions over the PA system were very annoying and unintelligible.
Pros: AA canceled our flight on 9/13 and rescheduled us to 9/15 for no apparent reason. There were flights leaving Orlando. When I called to ask why since all I received was a text message the customer service rep was rude. Then I received another text message on 9/13 at 4:30 am saying my flight was canceled and we were rebooked again!!! After calling again I was told if I want to leave on Friday we would have to leave from another airport that was over an hour away which means $225 in transportation to get us there! This is on top of the 2 additional hotel nights we paid for and additional meals. When I asked if we would be compensated for all the additional expenses we were incurring I was told it's weather related so probably not. I informed the rep that flights have been leaving Orlando since Tuesday 9/12 so that cannot be the case. She said to try to contact them online. UNACCEPTABLE. I will not fly AA again and I will not recommend them to family or friends. If I could give zero stars I would but the survey defaults to one star.
Pros: Nice modern plane. Even though the flight was delayed, we ended up boarding earlier than expected and arrived pretty close to our original expected arrival time.
Cons: The crew was nice and everything, but they weren't very good at making announcements on the loudspeaker. You could tell they didn't really know what they were saying or haven't practiced. One lady was trying to make a sales pitch for a new master card and you could tell she was reading and there were long pauses. My sense is that when using the loudspeaker to talk to the entire flight, one should be practiced and know what they're saying and communicate quickly and efficiently. Don't mean to be critical, but it's something that I noticed that could be improved.
Pros: i like the wifi internet that AA provided. Great movies
Cons: The flight attendants were highly rude and i felt as if i was discriminated on. I was sitting in the back and the flight attendant who was suppose to assist us made us feel like i was a bother to her. First of all she just rudly dropped biscuits on my table didnt ask if i wanted and then I had to ask her for coffee, she didnt ask me if i wanted something to drink. Finally she brought my daughter and I some coffee. i ask for sugar and she said im very busy you have to wait....eventually she gave me one packet of sugar. I had to ask for another sugar for my daughter , so when i ask she gets upset and tells me i have to wait but there as a white who ask for assistance and she was very polite to her.
Cons: Nothing was together, missed connection. Had to buy a hotel in Phoenix
Pros: The options for entertainment were great.
Cons: The space and seats were uncomfortable. I received errors when trying to access gogoinflight on my tablet, even when I had the most updated app. Therefore I was unable to use the app during my flight to Philadelphia. Also, when checking in from our original departure location, MCO, we were not provided our boarding pass or luggage tags for our final destination, Barcelona, only to our connecting flight, Philadelphia. The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane. So we waited in the plane for the whole hour and half while a maintenance issue was being resolved. The delay almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines. This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport kiosks, service desks, and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience. I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive.
Pros: the team was great, boarsing smooth, arrived early
Cons: we waited an hour for the bags to arrive on the carousel. What's that about? Get it together and have the bags out in time. We're just sitting here waiting for them over an hour - there are no other arrivals in this terminal. What's going on?
Pros: Liked having an exit row seat, appreciated being given a full can of soda, and loved the in-flight entertainment options as I was able to watch two recently released movies.
Cons: Leg and knee space stink for basic economy, especially as a big guy (6'4").
Pros: The flight was very comfortable and quick
Cons: Just after take off my television froze and my husband television lost sound, I asked one of the crew members if he could fix the issue, he responded by saying all he has to do is go reset it, but I didn't see him for the duration of the flight nor was the problem solved
Pros: the wntertainment worked.
Cons: This is one of the worst flights I've been on in a long time. When I arrived to the airport they had not assigned me a seat and did so at the gate. I was in the worst sear on the plane. Very last seat on the plane by the lavatories and newr the flight attendants station. The flight attendants talked very loudly the entire flight. so loud I woke up and needed to watch a movie to drown them out. i wdoubt I will be back on American any time soon.
Pros: Price. That's it.
Cons: We sat in Orlando waiting to take off - delayed for OVER 30 minutes because ---> the catering truck failed to show up. The captain aired his frustration of the catering crew. Supposed to arrive in Philly approximately 2:24pm - we didn't arrive until 3:03pm. Baggage took another 20-30 minutes. All American emoloyees looked tired. Not one smile either to Orlando or from Orlando. (Oh yeah - we were late taking off to start my vacation from Philly because a crew failed to arrive to "start the engines of the aircraft," per captain's announcement. The entire aircraft boarded and sat, again, for 30 minutes without any air conditioning or air flow in the cabin.) Blah experience. Blah employees. And two different captains announced the reasons for delay with an "annoyed tone."
Pros: Crew was nice, plane had power and good entertainment.
Cons: Boarding was a mess - I couldn't distinguish the line and elbow my way to the front before the gate agent called the two boarding groups behind me.
Pros: Everything was smooth and went on schedule. Actually first flight in a very long time and it was the holiday weekend. Yeah.
Cons: Allergies. American Airlines must do a better job of accommodating children with peanut allergies. It is obvious they do not get the serious health issue and life threatening situation of the allergy. Our family traveling to Disney on AA had a very uncomfortable ride.
Pros: I did not actually get to take this flight. My father was placed into hospice right before this trip and passed away about a week later. The airline was kind and sympathetic and refunded the total airfare. They made the whole thing much easier than anticipated.
Cons: American Airlines are incompetent. Almost 3 hour delays for no reason. The lavatory was not working so delayed the flight for it when the plane has been sitting there for 2 hours before the flight time. In they end the decided to fly with the lavatory after waiting for 1 hour take off time. Then that chained different causes, runway delay times and gate taxi delays at landing. The flight was very bumpy because they were trying to make up for lost time, such a mess.
Cons: Plane was very warm upon boarding due to issues with auxiliary cooling but informed it would change as engines turned on . I sat in row 20 and it was very cold during flight. Flight attendant inquired about comfort. It improved for about 10 minutes and returned to cold state . Noticed that one attendant put on some kind of jacket due to coldness . Nearby passengers retrieved blankets from their carry on baggage. Glad I had at least a light jacket to throw over me and that my legs were partially covered. Guess it's better to be too cool than too hot. Otherwise. It was s great flight .
Cons: Not charging so much for water. I understand the financial impact of COVID on the airlines, but water is essential.
Pros: Got us to our destination.
Cons: The seats are basically a covered board that don't recline. For a short flight it is OK, otherwise if you want comfort beyond that, this is not your airline. Flight was delayed due to an IT issue and we couldn't board. Perhaps a backup plan for the future. Paper and pencil doesn't break down that easily as a backup option.
Pros: Crew was amazing, arrival time much earlier, easy boarding
Cons: Complimentary water on the plane
Cons: Get rid of middle seat seating please. don’t mind paying for the fares slightly more. thank you!
Cons: They didn’t offer any food or drinks they could of pre-package snacks and water for the passengers.
Pros: The crew was excellent
Pros: Hair plane was very clean
Cons: Smoother ride to location
Cons: Gate agents didn’t call nor enforce any kind of boarding order other than preboard for military/disabled
Cons: We waited 7 hours to leave Orlando
Pros: nice fast and very happy people
Cons: Sever food and water or have tvs
Pros: I hate frontier! Never drive with them!
Pros: En realidad nada porque desde los empleados hasta las azafatas del avión brindan muy pésimo servicio
Cons: Todo Check in Empleados Meriendas Entretenimiento
Cons: With 50% load crew may alloved pasangers to ocupy empty seats and keep distancing.
Pros: The flight itself was a nice flight. The captain and first officer were communicative and the few times we experienced turbulence I felt like they immediately tried to minimize it. I had a good amount of room in my seat (I was not in an emergency exit row) and I had no problems with my luggage.
Cons: There was a 2 hour delay to take off. When your flight is at 7am and you've woken up at 3:30 or 4 to get to the airport on time, it's a bit frustrating to wait an extra 2 hours to leave. The gate agents were woefully uninformed and when they did communicate with passengers it was vague and unhelpful. The gate agents kept referring to the need for "maintenance" on the aircraft. It doesn't inspire a great deal of confidence in the soundness of the plane to hear that the maintenance crew is trying to "fix something in the cockpit." The Departures monitors and my Kayak app were giving me delay updates before the gate agents were. At one point we switched gates (it was the gate directly across from the original gate) and I watched as passengers at one gate literally traded places with passengers at another gate because the flights had swapped gates. It was comical. Overall, just a disorganized, uninformative, frustrating mess.
Cons: The fact i got stranded.
Pros: Flight wasn’t bad for what I paid for. One MUST definitely do his/her homework before flying to be prepared for all of the extra costs, etc... I was glad I did and was prepared with my own food, neck pillow, etc. I didn’t expect much in terms of creature comforts and therefore wasn’t disappointed. There isn’t much space in the cabin, so I was glad to have my 6-year old in between us 2 adults. Crew was pleasant r and professional. Ticket agent was helpful if a bit “assertive”. I probably won’t try to book them for long flights, but for short flights their fine
Cons: The tiny space and small seats!
Pros: The stewardess' were professional and friendly
Cons: The flight was delayed, the captain stuck in traffic, and they boarded the plane in the Florida heat without having the AC on. A real health hazard! At first they said that it had to be the captain who could turn it on. He wasn't even in the airport yet! It wasn't until I complained about concern for my child's safety that they called for someone to plug it in. The flight price seems like a bargain, but the individual charges for bags and seat assignments feel tricky and in the end doesn't make this a deal. The comfort on the plane is horrible. If I would have known the seats were unpadded, and the tray tables worthless I would never have booked this flight. My husband couldn't work on his computer as the tray table is miniscule. I have never flown this airline and will never again. There were multiple places in our row that had gum stuck on the floor. Gross. Never again Frontier.
Cons: Out flight was cancelled after you delayed it for 3 hours. At 2:00AM we finally figured out what was going on. We were stranded in the Philadelphia airport. There was very poor, if any communication. At that late hour, all hotels were booked. We were forced to stay in the airport, with no place to rest. Some passengers got pillows and blankets provided by Frontier which we repeatedly asked for, but were never provided. It was undoubtedly one of the worst experiences of our lives! We are still waiting for our full refund! 3 of us had booked round trip to Orlando, paid for special seating, paid for carry-on bags We expect a rapid response before this goes on social media
Cons: Flight delayed 2-1/2 hours, which I understood, the weather was horrible - BUT First the desk clerks were rude and as if people weren't irritated enough this didn't help Then the flight attendants were rude - all around miserable flight AND they charge for EVERYTHING - you may think you are getting a good deal on tickets, but you pay $40 for a checked bag, the same for a CARRY ON you pay for a decent seat they don't even give you peanuts without charging you I am done with Frontier - will never fly it again!
Pros: Got me where I wanted to go,
Cons: I am allergic to dogs and cats. This is a growing problem for me because it seems that the rules are looser and people keep a pet on their lap and service animals are increasing. There were two on board ( One not a service animal, the other one was) and I spoke to the gate agents who were mostly uninformed and unsympathetic . There is an overall lack luster with everything about FRONTIER and I get the no-frills / buy what you need concept, but there is no accommodation for people with serious allergy, and there is an increasing ability to get the certificate to have a service animal for just about any malady it seems. I respect the need for a service animal. However the passengers who have to sit in an airplane with recirculating air with dander are largely misunderstood. I asked to speak to a FRONTIER supervisor and there was no one to be seen and I got a stock answer from the gate agent in Orkando who was chewing gum so hard, it was difficult to have a conversation. Eventually I gave up my good seat to go further back from the animals who were seated up in front rows. That makes it worse when you have to pass by them to get back to your seat. And again, the gate agents were not helpful in getting me on the plane pre-boarded. Yes I take medication and sometimes I am OK and for the record, there is no truly "hypoallergic dog" for me. That is the excuse I also get. It is tough to live with when people around you do not understand . I was also recently deplaned on United airline because of this problem. I cannot stop flying it is always something now I have to worry about until I get to the gate. I do not wish it on anybody but if you had the reaction of welts itching and swelling it would be better understood as something that needed to be addressed by the airlines. Thank you for reading this long note.
Cons: First I bought a ticket from Spirit Airlines SFO to MCO for 309$, then I saw charges from frontier Airline, frontier airlines bought a ticket for me too for 287$, when I was just watching checking the price. Then I compared the tickets, both the time, but from Frontier Airlines was cheaper then I stayed with frontier and cancel the other reservation from Spirit Airlines the next day I see frontier airlines also cancelled that reservation and I had to rebook another ticket for 496$, the price went up, then I had to pay 187$ extra, IT WAS A FRAUD JOB FROM FRONTIER AIRLINES, I can prove everything above with the receipts and the dates on it, the worse experience I had
Pros: Nothing abt it
Cons: I have traveled many places and have NEVER encountered such horrible service in an airport as I did at your Orlando airport / Frontier counter. I checked hours before was in the airport and long lines an hour and 1/2 before flight leaving and due to your Frontier agents at this counter I was unable to board. This happen to more than one passenger in line with me. This agent continued to argue with me rolling her neck and head at me rather than get me to t gate with an available half hour before take off. There was vomit at the counter which they refused to call anyone to come and clean up but overall NO ONE was on task. I will dispute the extra charges I have incurred due to this fiasco and will NEVER fly Frontier Airlines again.
Pros: I will only fly Frontier if the cost is way lower than other flights. The seating is so uncomfortable and they charge for literally everything. I'm surprised there is not "breathing air" fee. Although the round-trip nonstop flight to SD from Orlando was only 140 per person. I paid 89 each way for bags and seating. Still at 185 round-trip nonstop, it's a great deal. The flight left on time and we had no issues in the air. I wish I could get more comfort and complimentary drinks and snacks along with TV options during the flight for this price, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. Overall the savings is undeniable. We had some major issues trying to book our summer trips bc they were only showing airfare through 6/6/17 up until last week 2/13/17. Less than four months out before they released and the prices were doubled. Since my entire family lives in Orlando and I travel there 5+ times a year, Frontier has saved us a lot of money! My son travels alone a lot. He is 13. When he flies alone we always use Southwest no matter the cost bc they do not charge extra for any minor over 12 traveling alone and they take great care of the kids in air. No to mention the flights are nonstop, they offer free drinks and snacks, and of course, baggage is free.
Cons: The seats are extremely uncomfortable, I still ache from this flight. I had a 10 month old on my lap for five hours. I was unable to recline. They force you to check in online or they will charge you more money at the gate. They will charge you for everything under the sun. So glad they don't charge for in lap infants (yet) or a personal bag. Maybe it is just a matter of time. One airline I flew.. (Maybe Frontier or Alaska?) offered tablets for rental to. Watch movies or shows during the flight. Frontier could take a hint and start this practice.
Pros: First off I've never flied on Frontier before. I've heard some pretty negative things about Frontier but booked a flight anyways because 1) it was 1/2 the cost of any other airline for the dates I wanted 2) it was a non stop from SFO to MCO so how bad could it be. It was absolutely horrible and enough to convince me to never book a flight on Frontier again. Here's some things that you should know if you've never flown Frontier before. They charge $25 for carry on bags and $30 for a checked bag as long as you purchase ahead of time. If you show up at the airport and pay there then the cost for a carry on is $50 and a checked bag is $60. You are allowed to bring a personal bag for free as long as it's not bigger than 18x14x8 and that's what I did. You can't choose a seat on Frontier unless you're willing to pay an additional $12-$42 so you essentially get whatever they give you. The plane was an A319 but the most stripped down version that an airline could probably purchase. The seats don't recline and it's basically a plastic seat lined with fabric. Extremely uncomfortable to say the least. The employees for Frontier across the board are very unprofessional and rude, at first I just thought it was an isolated incident but the more contact and interaction I had with Frontier's employees the quicker I realized that it's company wide the level of unprofessionalism exhibited. If you want a snack or anything to drink including water you better be ready to pay a premium, so it was a rough 5 hour flight. On the way out of SFO my plane was delayed over 3 hours. When I asked about the delay they said it was weather. The funny part was that only Frontier flights were delayed. Flying back my plane was supposed to depart at 6:55pm but we actually didn't depart until 11:15pm. Lesson learned and I know that for me I'll pay the extra money to fly with a carrier that I have experience with that better caters to my traveling needs.
Cons: We had already paid the luggage fee and just needed to drop off our bags for our MCO to DEN flight. It started with no curbside check-in. Incredibly poor service at ticketing/baggage check. A mass of people. No directions. Even employees (when asked, not one volunteered any information) didn't know which line was which. Only four people working the counter. And then the airline called for people leaving on a flight after ours and brought those passengers to the front of the line. When we got to the front of the line the employee's response was "You need to be here three hours before the flight." For a midweek domestic flight? ATA treated us like this once. They're long gone. Goodbye Frontier.
Cons: Why would I ever fly frontier again! After all the hidden fees the final price was almost the same as delta! You have to pay for check in luggage along with carry on. You then go to pick a seat and you have to pay for that and for each connecting flight. Then you have to pay $2.99 if you want a drink or a snake. If you want an adult beverage its $7.99. The seats are very cheap and uncomfortable and don't recline. They don't have tv's or wi fi. Delta includes all of this and has a better record for being on schedule. No question who I will be flying with next time!
Pros: I had no problems with the crew or employees at frontier.
Cons: I was aware that this airline charged for carry-on's and beverages that other airline companies usually provide fee of charge. However, there were several other issues that I had that soured the experience for me. First of all, the seats were considerably less comfortable. The backs of the chairs were plastic, the try table was so small it might as well not have been there at all, and the leg room was terrible. On the way back there was a line of about 300 people at the Frontier desk to check baggage. I don't know if they simply did not staff appropriately, or if there were too many flights scheduled to take off around the same time, but I've never seen anything like it. They did attempt to fix the issue by pulling the people who had sooner flights to the front of the line, which I was thankful for or I would have certainly missed the flight. However, this could have been avoided by planning flights more appropriately, and certainly was not the most fair approach. Finally, we had to wait for about 45 minutes for our checked bag after the flight as well. This could have been the fault of the airport itself, but I've never had an issue with baggage at this airport before. Overall, I don't think the extra saving was worth it, and I'll likely be flying with a different airline in the future
Pros: The animal on the plane was cute. Otherwise, nothing.
Cons: The plane was late to board which they blamed on cleaning. When we finally got to our seats (both flights) they were filthy. My first seat actually had a chunk of hair and a napkin on it. My second crumbs all over the seat and floor. The seats were horribly uncomfortable and did not recline. They claim they have low fares but there were hidden costs (charges for picking seats AND carry-on bags) that we didn't learn about until we arrived at the airport and had to use money we saved to spend on vacation for the flight instead. I would have rather paid weeks ahead so I didn't have to use our fun money.
Pros: Initially the cost of the airfare seemed too good to be true....we ended up paying $190 in addition to the cost of the tickets.
Cons: 1.Hidden costs - we have carry on luggage that ALL other airlines are fine with, but when we got to the gate to board they told us they weren't for carry on and had to pay and additional $60/piece($120 total) and threatened that we couldn't board if we didn't pay. Then they allowed us to carry them on and they fit easily in the overhead compartment. 2.Mass confusion boarding on the return flight. There were designated long lines, then other personnel would make changes to the lines confusing everyone even more. 3.We had our bags pre checked, our boarding passes printed the night before (as recommended by the airlines) to expedite the boarding process and we still had to stand in line with the other passengers who had not completed this ahead of time. It did not expedite anything for us. 4.Seats do not recline, very uncomfortable. 5. No vomit bags....we had a very turbulent decent and many people in need of sick bags. Many ended up vomiting into their personal bags!
Cons: The seats didn't recline, there was no wifi and when I asked for a sip of water, to take a pill, I was informed I would have to buy water if I wanted anymore than a sip. About half way through my trip (9 pm- 3:30 am) a flight attendant snapped on my over head light and accused me of using my ecig and demanded I give it to him. As I handed it to him I explained I was not using it and deployed the button to show him it wasn't even on. He then "confiscated" it. About two minutes later he returned it to me and told me not to use it again or I could be jailed. After I got off my flight I found a Frontier Airline supervisor and told her what happened. Kim took the tag off my bag (for flight info) and told me a report would be filed and I would here from the airline in 24-48 hours. Three days passed and I finally called them just to find out that there was never a report submitted for me. Poor customer service!
Pros: The efficiency of the boarding process. It was organized and fairly expedient.
Cons: The exorbitant additional fees. Absolutely absurd to charge for a seat and carry-on luggage in addition to the plane ticket itself. My carry-on suitcase is HALF the size of the traditional size and paying $30 to bring it on the plane is insulting. The chairs were uncomfortable. They don't recline, no head rest, and no blankets were on board which made resting for my 5 hours across the country EXTREMELY uncomfortable. For all the extra fees you'd think a movie and some snack packs might be available. Then again, with the trays too small to fit even my mini iPad, there'd be no place to put them. No in-flight entertainment was a bummer too. I've usually been so happy on Frontier. Bit this experience will keep me from flying Frontier ever again.
Pros: We were forced to wait 15 hours with one delay after another. With one excuse after another. My flight was scheduled for 1001 am. We did not board the plane on time. It was 1145 pm and I did not get to Cleveland at noon, no it was 3 o'clock am with no chance to rent a car to go home I had to call my daughter! And the best part was that my 75 year old wife had to endure this.they would not cancel the flight and allow me to take my wife to a hotle. There were parents with infants as well that was not happy. So to Hume it may concern You have lost several customers because of your failure to take care of your customers!
Pros: I got to my destination safely.
Cons: Seats are like sitting on a piece of plastic and they don't recline, which was funny every time we landed or took off they would ask to have the seats put in the upright positions. The minimal savings you think you are going to have go away quickly when you find out you have to pay for a carry on and pay for a checked bag. Oh and you want a soda and a snack on your 3.5 hour flight? better be prepared to dish out for them as well. When you are getting on the flight they have billboards going down the walkway that say Featured on Frontier and Showing soon on Frontier, but no TVs to view on. No place to plug in your devices to charge like the other airlines I use. I can safely say I will never fly Frontier again.
Pros: The crew, as always, were very polite and helpful and trying hard to make up for errors that were not their fault.
Cons: My flight was 4 hours late taking off, which was blamed on weather amass although I fond this questionable after reviewing weather in the areaspam involved, I'll give them that. My flight on the way back was over 4 hours delayed for no reason that I could glean from speaking with representatives. We got no advanced notice even though the plane had not yet left a destination around 4 hours away. We were told a plane was coming from another airport and would be there by 6. The plane did not arrive until 9. No explanation. No compensation. Nothing.
Pros: Everything was awful
Cons: If I could give this rating a 0 stars, I would. I never plan on flying with this airline again. The attendant was extremely rude at the beginning when I tried to check in and I almost had to miss my flight because she was trying to charge me for a bag that was a carry on (charge me triple the amount) and that fit perfectly on the overhead, I even took a picture. She was extremely rude and unprofessional and put a hold in my account trying to get me to miss my flight. Luckily, the attendant at the boarding gate was already having a bad day due to the incompetence of his fellow coworkers and just let me go on. It was horrible. 0 stars, worst airline and flight ever
Pros: I like the fact that I was a really really smooth flight. The attendants was pretty cool, very professional. I was able to get a seat in the front row which was super awesome.
Cons: What was really a bit upsetting for me was, when I went to check in at the front desk, the airline attendant was helpful and very professional. My boarding pass did not have the gate number printed on it, and I didn't even notice it until I got passed TSA. I felt like it was the attendant responsiblity to make sure everything on the boarding pass was correct, and my reason for saying so is I was too busy or focused on getting to security and thinking about the rest of my travel. it was just my luck that I remember to check my online itinerary that was sent to me via email to see the gate number. I know this may not be the airlines fault, but On my flight we left ahead of time and landed super on time, but still spend almost an HOUR!!! due to some maintenance issue at the gate in Atlanta. It was an horrible experience, I had a meeting I was suppose to be at at 8am. Everything was going so right with the flight I felt like I was going to make it. I just felt that the entire situation could have been handle a bit better :(
Cons: O couldn't take the flight because the cost of my luggage exceeded the costed my fight & was not allowed to cancel for refund of any kind.
Pros: The ontime schedule of the flight which went well
Pros: The flight landed early.
Cons: We spent 15 minutes taxi-ing off and on the runway. Baggage was sent out 27 minutes after passengers left the aircraft. My seat was at the end of the aircraft, and I had to pay extra for that, and had sticky gum all over it. When I told the flight attendant, she said, oh no, really? The flight attendant did nothing to help me be reaseated or clean my seat. After a passenger vomited, the flight attendant did not help the passenger by providing anything to cleanup. The aircraft stank of vomit as we sat in the runway for 15 minutes. The flight attendants woke me up to sell their credit card, but not to provide refreshments/water. The announcements went on for over 10 munutes. My seat was surrounded by screaming and crying infants and nothing was done to help those mothers calm their children down. The seats had very little leg room for anyone my height and taller (5'9"), despite having to pay for the seat. I will not fly Frontier ever again. The upfront low price doesn't reflect the baggage, carry-on, and seat add-on fees, so it's very deceiving.
Pros: The crew was friendly and the plane was clean.
Cons: 'Only Pay for what you Need!' This is the slogan where all the hidden fees lie. But what do you really need? A carry-on? Who doesn't need that? Well It's gonna be $60. A cold glass of water to hydrate during a 3 hour flight? $6. Oh yeah if you want a seat on the plane you already paid for, it's going to be $16-50. frontier ends up costing more than its competitors even after cutting every luxury on the plane to save its customers money. (Seats do not recline and no TVs). I think I'm seeing a trend in the reviews, Frontier. Stop being dumb. I will never fly with them again.
Pros: There wasn't anything clearly that I liked. There were some things that I was able to tolerate however.
Cons: Although the price of the flight itself was cheaper than other airlines it's really not worth it. For one, you often pay a lot more than the stated price of the flight. You pay for such "extras" as obtaining preboarding seats online, checking luggage at the terminal (instead of online), obtaining seats that recline, obtaining seats with "extra legroom" (for a mere $50 one way), on board nonalcoholic beverages and even water were extra. In addition the cost for carry-ons and extra luggage was considerably higher than other airlines. Frontier doesn't coordinate with TSA, so your TSA preboarding clearance is worthless. But worst of all were the seats. Very little padding and the nonstop flight of 4 1/2 to 5 hours was really misery. Of course you could bring on a seat cushion with you, but that would cost extra.. Even with all of this, I probably saved a few bucks my flying Frontier. But really, life's too short to see how much misery I can put up with just to save a few dollars. I won't be flying this air airline again. Frontier might work for young healthy men and women who are taking short brief trips, who don't carry any luggage and who don't mind sitting on a seat that feels like a wooden bench.
Pros: The cabin was clean, and the staff was friendly.
Cons: I was disappointed in the surprise costs of luggage. I packed everything in a carryon so that I wouldn't have to pay for a check bag, but turns out a carry on costs $40 at check in. I understand it was a cheap flight, but I may have made a different decision if I knew there was an extra hidden cost of $80 round trip. On other notes, on the first flight of my two, the plane was swerving back and forth on takeoff and landing. The weather was fine, and I've flown plenty enough to know this wasn't normal. My second flight was fine. It was on the same plane, but the crew changed, so I guess it was pilot causing it to be this way? The seats were uncomfortable in coach for long periods of time compared to other airlines, and did not recline.
Pros: The crew and food offerings were great. Seats were small but that was expected.
Cons: Less people on the place with spacing would be great during COVID
Pros: Smooth flight
Pros: The only thing I liked was the check-in process
Cons: It was absolutely horrendous we were packed in there like sardines I will never ever fly Spirit again horrible you couldn't pay me
Cons: The flight could have left on time instead the crew allowed passengers to continue to board 15mins after we were supposed to have taken off. The pilot was inexperienced and we had a hard landing. Lastly the flight attendants seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else but on the plane.
Pros: Crew was very nice!
Cons: Too many people, some people are flying sick . I just wish someone would check their temperature
Pros: Plane was clean. Flight attendants polite. Boarding went smooth.
Cons: Frontier does temperature checks. Makes you feel safer. Flight attendants did not address all passengers who weren’t wearing their mask. United disembarks plane I. Sections so everyone is not on top of each other. I thought that was good.
Pros: Nothing! I do it because I need the flight in that moment.
Pros: Check in process was very smooth and very helpful agents. Quick process
Cons: I’m happy with my experience
Pros: Mask covering one's nose was reenforced
Cons: Boarding started late
Pros: I like better if the food is free
Cons: Great services
Cons: Last minutes extra charges
Pros: Seats were comfortable, Boarding was quick, everyone was safe and informative
Pros: One of the flight attendants was very nice.
Cons: EVERYTGING. Airplane was overbooked and cramped, nobody was enforcing the face covering rule, drinks were served requiring everyone in the plane to remove their face coverings, flight was delayed due to weather but the whole hour+ we waited to be cleared for boarding there were no announcements or updates and the poor lady at the desk was getting berated with unnecessary update questions, even the screen behind her still showed a departure time of 6:05 as we were boarding around 8:00.
Pros: 321/5000 Absolutely nothing, it was my last time using this airline. They charged me for the suitcase and other people did not; from wanting to ingest something until water is charged, the area of the seat dirty, tray where you have to put the food dirty (I have photos). Completely disappointed, she believed in the reputation of the company.
Cons: Equality ... we are all going through a bad economic state. Hygiene in this situation has to be stricter. The Covid 19 is not a joke, many people die in these situations, we make many trips for work that we expose ourselves.
Cons: 1. Flight was delayed multiple times,. Was supposed to leave at 10:17AM and didn't leave until 2:30PM. 2. I was directed to different gates by Spirit employees who should have known (or should have known how to find out) where the new gate was. Very confusing. 3. Flight crew told us that our plane was continuing on to Denver (my final destination.) After the other passengers had exited, a flight attendant made an announcement that we had to vacate the plane due to the crew change. I exited the plane. While I was in the airport restroom, the gate attendant made a garbled announcement that my flight was shifting gates. When I got back to the gate, the attendant told me that we were on a new plane leaving from a different gate. I had to run from gate 34 to gate 18, and was the last one to board. It would have been better we were told to go to the new gate before we exited.
Pros: Onboard crew was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Everything else “Spirit” related was a debacle. We lost our baby’s stroller attachment for the car seat. Very helpful as without it we are unable to use our stroller. Attempted to have several Spirit employees help however all everyone did was send us to another person and ultimately the last person just ignored us. We went down to baggage claim to see if by chance anyone turned in the attachment but we’re only told to file a report and if they so happen to find it they will contact us. This is no help whatsoever. Will never fly spirit again!
Pros: The crew were the highlight of the trip.
Cons: Spirit Airlines required a return-flight from Colombia prior to allowing me to board, even though I will not be returning for many months (or perhaps even years). I purchased a return flight just so I could board the plane and not lose my flight. Upon arrival to Colombia, (review reached word-limit)
Pros: They were on time.
Cons: There was a fee or charge for EVERYTHING. The difference in price for the next least expensive flight more thsn made up the difference in feees ( baggage $65, carry on $65, better seat $25 but no guarantee- no free water, sift drink, or cofffe. No snacks. Everything was charge and expensive The Seats were small with no leg room and no recline option. One of the most uncomfortable rides ever. No entertainment option I guess if I was only going a short flight it’d be ok but still never a 1st chioice And remember cheap airlines means kids will be on board
Pros: The flight crew was polite and attended to my needs and they were actually funny.
Cons: I did not like the limited food selections and the small portions that were served. Also, I always like it when the pilot informs you of the area of the country you are flying over. For example I recently took a flight from Las Vegas Nevada to Melbourne Florida and that pilot on Delta explained where landmarks were all along the way. That is something comforting about a pilot connecting with his crew and the people aboard the flight. So I would really like that if Spirit would include that. Additionally I do like onboard entertainment but maybe the fares would have to reflect that.
Pros: An airport attendant, Alfonso, was wonderfully helpful and friendly. He took good care of me, as I was needing wheelchair assistance.
Cons: When we arrived, I needed wheelchair assistance. I was picked up on the gangplank, and taken to the gate across from our arrival and LEFT THERE. No offers of help after that. I had a 3 hour layover, and finally Alfonso asked if I needed additional assistance. No one else was I interested in helping me get to food or a restroom. During the course of my layover, I heard over 6 flights have gate changes. Ours also was changed...at the time we should've been boarding. No explanation or apology for inconvenience. And again, I was LEFT THERE with no assistance. I finally flagged someone down to get a wheelchair and take me to the new gate, where I was LEFT AGAIN. I finally got up and walked to a restroom in my own (in great pain). The info for our flight remained on the screen at the old gate, with no mention of a gate change, and the new gate had NO information posted about our flight anywhere...which led to a great deal of confusion, chaos, and angry patrons. The gate change also caused us to board 30 min late. The Spirit employees were hard to find (laughing and hanging out in a closed-off area behind the desk). They were not friendly, helpful, or even understanding about the situation. I asked to be the last one on the plane (needing wheelchair assistance), and was told no, with no kindness or explanation. The flight attendants on this flight were not any better than the ines in the flight before...only w/o the funny commentary. And, another long flight with no entertainment, comfort, or friendly assistance. When we arrived at DFW, there were storms (that would've been avoided if we had left Orlando in time) that kept us in a holding pattern for an hour and a half ON TOP of a two and a half hour flight. The flight attendants used this time as a way to make MORE money for the airline by charging money for any food/drinks during this time...even water. We were on that cramped plane for 5 HOURS and were still having to pay for water. This was one of my WORST airline experiences in over 40 years of flying.
Pros: Staff gave me a refund for return flight& baggage fee
Cons: I was supposed to depart at 10 pm. Flight was delayed twice via email & again once I arrived at the airport to 1:40 am. Around 1 am, the flight was cancelled. There was almost an angry & very immature mob at the gate desk for flight rebooking or refunds. There were few flights for the following evening, which sold out quickly; then rebooking were for the day after that. They did not offer to cover any hotel arrangements. The staff handled it pretty well, but it made my wait to get a refund even longer. I had to find a rental car to drive overnight from Orlando to Atlanta. I finally got home at 10:30 am.
Pros: Courteous, smiling flight crew--professionals--were aboard the plane, well-versed in their jobs and prepared for every eventuality.
Cons: It was not Spirit's fault that the flight was delayed for two hours--that was due to weather--but there were no updates and when the clerk got on the intercom she was very soft-spoken and hard to hear. In order to effective deal with flight delays, one needs to have consistent updates, so that one can inform friends and family and arrange for rides from the airport that don't have to wait forever for the palne's arrival. It is difficult to be over six feel with long legs; leg room is nonexistent,, and non-reclining sits are difficult. Although I would never pretend that this was at all the fault of anyone at the airline. I was seated next to a woman who was very large--at least 400#, and quite broad-shouldered--and she took up half my seat. My back still aches, I couldn't lean back or straighten out or get comfortable in my seat because of her size. It made for a painful, difficult flight.
Cons: Will never fly Spirit airlines again. First flight was cancelled, return flight was delayed by almost 2 hours. I waited at the ticketing desk for 3+ hours (while on hold with customer service on my cell phone). Never had my call answered and also did not ever get to the counter for my refund. HORRIBLE experience, worst customer service ever. A total inconvenience, I had to rearrange all my travel plans, incurring many additional expenses and also book a different outgoing flight at a higher cost in order to get to my destination. Also, the flight seems cheaper but then they gouge you by charging for your seat and also for your carry on. Not any cheaper in the end. NEVER AGAIN.
Cons: The staff was not happy you could tell they did not want to be there they were very disengaged. This was the second time my flight to Puerto Rico had been canceled. And then it was canceled while I was in Puerto Rico without notice . There was nobody at the airport no one answering the phone's nobody to talk to nobody to resolve issues . I waited on line for customer care/reservations for over four hours and I have proof . That is unacceptable for any business economy or midscale . And then you're only offered $50 when you had to pay for another ticket pay for another night in a hotel in extra day in a rental you're out over $500 and they give you 50 .
Pros: Nothing. We were treated like Idiots.
Cons: They wanted to charge for everything we had, including the purse that my companion was carrying. I found out later that our backpacks and purse were under their posted "Guidelines." When she told us that the baggage fees would be almost $400 for the two of us, I said "You are insane." and we rented a car and drove 15 hours instead... with car rental and gas and hotel, we still spent less than the baggage fees! When I called Spirit to complain. I was told that the gate agent was trying to overcharge us, but that there was nothing that could be done. They would not refund the cost of the tickets (Only $144) or offer any travel credit. I will never use Spirit Air
Pros: Crew was very nice.
Cons: Ridiculous charges for everything you get on other carriers for free: printing boarding pass, choosing a seat, water, carry on bag allowance. Additionally seats are extremely small(and I am not a big person), no inflight entertainment available at all, no option for an electronic boarding pass and additionally the flight was delayed. With what I paid for the flight itself, the charge for 1 carry-on bag and the fee for selecting a seat at the time of booking, my total cost was more than what I would have paid on Delta or American. Will not be a repeat customer of Spirit.
Pros: Comfort, clean seats
Cons: Fare cheap but all the 'musts'made it more than any other airline: $9 Online fee; $25 kiosk fee (which didn't work and had to pay $50 fee to check in with clerk; had to check bag approved for under seat/carry on (12"c12") and since kiosk didn't work, charged $60 for 1st bag, even though I paid $60 for a 'first checked bag' and 2nd bag should hAve been cheaper. It was TSA agent who told me I would be required to check the bag by Spirit as it didn't meet carry on criteria and if I didn't check now, would be $100 at gate. I told her that I was traveling back with same TSA approved (and Spirit online rules) and she became rude and rejected my bag (and did a complete body search) so, I was forced to check the bag or miss my flight. I asked her and the Spirit clerk (3) if this was a TSA/ Spirit racket with kickbacks for TSA and/or Spirit and NOT on of them laughed, smiled, or denied this question. Mever again will I fly Spirit airlines or recommend to anyone!
Cons: On arrival at the airport, help was needed to get the boarding pass but there was no one at the ticket counter to help. For that reason, Joe missed the flight. When the representative did get to the counter, she was of no help in helping him get to his destination. He was marked as a "No Show" and his reservation was cancelled. Joe was told his return flight was confirmed. He was able to make arrangements with another airline after spending another $300 to get to Orlando. However, when he confirmed his flight home, he was told it was canceled because he "no showed!" He talked with people in Orlando and I called the phone number on the email received from Spirit after he missed the flight. I spoke with 3 different people who only wanted to tell me their policy. I needed help in getting Joe back to Akron, Oh. They could only tell me that we would have to make a new reservation and pay even more money for him to get home. They did not honor the money that had already been paid to them. They did not help us at all. They could only quote their policy, which was a moot point by that time!!!
Cons: We were over 1 hour late getting to Orlando as there was a passenger who was on the plane in stand by . Spirit overbooked the flight and they down 45 minutes trying to resolve the issue. I was suppose to get to Orlando at 10:30 . I got to Orlando at 12;30 . I had to be up and ready at 6:00 . It took me 45 minutes to get a ride. This past Thursday I was suppose to fly spirit to New Orleans . The security people search me for around 40 minutes . The plane was still at the tarmac however the spirt person had closed the ramp and would not let me on the plane . The plane set there for additional 25 minutes . I drove to New Orleans for 7 hours for a meeting. I will never , ever fly spirit again .
Pros: In purchasing a Spirit flight I am aware that no "frills" are included. I expect uncomfortable seats, no free snacks or drinks, and staff that is generally less professional. You get what you pay for. And the price matches the service.
Cons: I live two hours from the airport I departing from. My flight was early in the morning, so I made plans to leave for the airport with plenty of time to make it to the airport. Unfortunately due to blizzard conditions, I knew I would be unable to safely make it to the airport by the time my flight would take off. I called customer service, during my first call I was hung up on, so I called again. The operator tried to tell me that he didn't see any weather conditions that should have prevented me from making it to the airport so he wouldn't help me transfer my flights. I was made to cancel my original departing flight and purchase a new departing flight, for twice the cost of what I had originally paid for my round trip flight. The only decent thing the operator did for me what waive the flight cancellation fee. I understand fees and charges to keep other flights as cheap as possible, however, at some point your customer service should accommodate your fliers when its extenuating circumstances. Highly disappointed. Unlikely to fly with them again.
Cons: Getting our boarding pass to print was a nightmare. I kept getting password invalid. I was told I would be sent an e-mail to reset my password. NOT! made that request 6 times before I waited 30 minutes to get a rep on the phone. Was told I had to sign up to be a Free Spirit Member to get my boarding pass. No where does it say that that is what you had to do . The rep asked if I had booked through them? I told I booked through Kayak and he gave me attitude. Kind of huffed and I thought he mumbled "you get what you pay for" So I signed up and got our boarding pass. Coming back AGAIN we couldn't get our boarding pass. The rep at Cabana Bay got a Spirit rep on the phone I told her I was a Free Spirit Member and I gave her my member # and she me told I didn't exist in the system, but she would send me an e-mail to change my password Of course that didn't come through. I put Sara, from the front desk, back on the phone and between her and the rep we got our boarding pass. We started our vacation upset and aggregated. Ended it the same way.
Cons: The alert was finally sent to us well past the time we would have been going through security. Luckily, we had checked on our own through a third party app,. No alternative flights were available, so we had to book on another airline and cancel the Spirit tickets. The credit policy is draconian. We may not be able to meet the redemption requirements and will probably lose the entire value. The process created so much frustration and wasted so much time. The low-ish price is simply not worth it.
Pros: Flight on time.
Cons: Flight attendant was so mean. I did not get a chance to ask who she is or her name was at that time . I was traveling with my family including my mother who is almost 80 years old and was seated farther away from me. I stood up to check on her as she was having shortness of breath when we boarded. I stood up 15 minutes after we took off although the seat belt sign was on to check on my mother, I knew I need to stay at my seat but I have to check on my mother. flight attendant was at the aisle getting food orders and was very rude told me to go back to my seat. It could have been better if she asked what's going on and why I need to stand . That's not my expectation of a flight attendant as she should be there to assist and provide support if needed. But she was very rude and directed me back to my seat without asking the reason of my action/ behavior but instead very rudely telling me to go back to my chair. She could have asked me if I need help. I believed she is also the flight attendant who was using the overhead mic to give instructions to the passengers. She is not fit to where she is at. I believed that there still a lot of people that were very disappointed at her . I hope nobody dies in the plane where she is at as her act of negligence, rudeness , discourteous is not acceptable.
Pros: didn't die in a plane crash
Cons: Flights both ways delayed more than 2 hours both ways WITHOUT notification, compensation, or explanation, even when queried. I was forced to reschedule my car rental for twice the price due to tardiness. "Randomly selected" our flight to be security checked FOR A SECOND TIME AT THE GATE, and then my girlfriend was innappropriately molested for some reason by a tsa agent. I fly all the time and this was the first time this has ever happened. No service, still very expensive, dirty seats. I will NEVER be flying spirit again.
Pros: Made it home in one piece
Cons: Only one suitcase, otherwise had to pay $52 for anything extra. Some passengers had more than one case/bag without charge. The staff acted like they did not enjoy their professions. Charging for snacks seemed outrageous & asinine. The flight was very rough and at some points very frightening. Dropped down more than once with my stomach having a pit. The passengers clapped their hands when we landed as if it wasn't safe. Not happy, extremely disappointed. The fight to Florida from Detroit was awesome & pleasantly surprised. I probably wouldn't recommend Spirit to friends or family.
