Pros: "I wish the airlines, all airlines would keep the middle seat vacant on all flights!! Such a comfortable feeling and flight. I’ve flown multiple times this summer during Covid, having that middle seat vacant has made traveling by air for me a very good, comfortable thing again. Don’t ever go back to packing us in like cattle car flights!!"

Cons: "The flight was scheduled for 7:45 pm. Due to the storm the day before, my flight out of Miami was cancelled and I was told that the flight out of W Palm Beach was my only option. I paid $150 for an Uber at 4 pm. At 6:37, I got an email with news of a two hour delay. I would’ve appreciated an earlier notice. But much worse was the boarding experience. As half the passengers had boarded, someone announced that we had to have everyone boarded and seated in 5 minutes, or else the crew would time out, and we’d have to stay in WPalm. This set off a frenzy, with seated passengers yelling at the people boarding to hurry!! I was told by the pilot while exiting in LGA, that we made it by 30 seconds! It could’ve been handled so much better!"

And the worst thing was that before flight, they closed us in an insulated gate especially for flights to Tel Aviv, something made out of the 1980’s with a small kiosk with cold sandwiches and “espresso” from an automatic machine, if we knew this is the case, we at least would’ve bought something to eat before entering the 80’s terminal/gate."

After 45 minutes the crew had reached its hours and couldn't complete the flight with no replacement crew in sight. Plane was debarked new flight was rescheduled 4 hours later. Had to go through security a second time after ticket was reissued. This flight was also delayed 45 minutes. Getting to Copenhagen spent an extra 1 and a half in the airport dealing with lost baggage because it seems the 8 hours extra I spent in Frankfurt wasn't enough for them to transfer my bags."

Pros: "I liked the ability to have some air circulation, which was not offered in the first flight, so that was nice. The ride was smooth, quick, and mostly comfortable, although I did wish I could have a little more elbow room. There was no entertainment, but that was also fine because the flight was fairly short. Overall, I don’t have any complaints."

Cons: "The flight was excellent. Crew attentive and pleasant, good amenities--decent meals (special diet preferences observed on 2nd of two flights, but not first). Frequent offers of beverages and water throughout the flight from Munich to EWR, hot towels. Nice! I was not able to choose my seats until check-in, 24 hours before flight time. Of course if I wanted to pay extra (would have amounted to $60 for two flights for each passenger) I could have. Representatives at check in in Athens, were indifferent and not very pleasant."

I don't believe such an early morning flight, which should be the origination flight, should be held/delayed so long...it made my connection in Frankfurt very tight and others missed theirs altogether."

Cons: "We booked our group of four with Lufthansa, paying $300 more than equivalent flights on competing airlines, specifically because our 20 month old daughter fits within Lufthansa's age, height, and weight limits for using the bassinet. We have reserved our tickets and the bassinet over two months in advance, paying $35 extra per seat for these reservations, and even got an email that specifically stated "bassinet confirmed". On the flight, when it came time to install the bassinets, the flight attendant came to us, took a look at our daughter, and said that she will not fit in the bassinet, that she is too tall, and too heavy, and suggested that we should have checked the limits for the bassinet before coming on the flight. When we inquired as to the actual limits, she could not provide any numbers, only said that she could see that our daughter is too big for it. When the family next to us got their bassinet, it became very obvious that our daughter would fit in the bassinet, and we pointed out that she was well below the height and weight limits published on the Lufthansa website. Only then did the flight attendant admit that there were other babies on the flight, and they only had four bassinets on the plane, despite having 11 slots where bassinets could be installed. Our reservation months in advance did not matter - we did not get the bassinet. As compensation, we were offered some Lufthansa miles, or 50 euros for in-flight duty free shopping. However, we lost close to 1000 dollars as a group when we chose to fly Lufthansa rather than a less expensive airline. We were very uncomfortable throughout the flight, having to hold my daughter in my arms for over five hours. We are are still very upset that the crew blatantly lied to us."

A few rows up they had fans, so apparently you have to pay extra for air... Cons: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Pros: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Pros: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Cons: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. Cons: "Why is there no rating for on-time delivery? After my super-late departure from PDX to AMS (computer outage), I essentially had the same problem on my return flight. KLM's Birmingham to Amsterdam flight departed so late that I again missed my Amsterdam connection."

Cons: "I was in economy/SAS Go class, so it was nearly impossible to get more than one or two hours of sleep on a long flight, (i.e. about eight hours). Maybe they should reserve the seats with extra leg room for those who actually need it, and have the seats recline even further."

Pros: "We got to sit in the emergency aisle so I can't complain about comfort. The staff was really friendly (although they were really rude on the way over 10 days earlier, so I guess we just got lucky with a nice crew for this one)."
Cons: "You only get one free non-alcoholic drink on this flight and that's really stingy for a 7+ hour a long haul. Drinks should be free on a long haul, especially non-alcoholic ones. There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."

Pros: "The service was excellent. The food very good. Toilets inorder and clean, even just before Copenhagen. In Chicago i had to wait about 30 min tor a wheelchair. It seemed that noone wanted to go to termimal 5. A very nice young man finally came, he gave me frindly and excellent service. ALIS"

Pros: "I tried to check in a 30 lbs suitcase. There was no gate and they asked me to carry the check in plus my carry on down the steps to the airplane on the field. I had to refuse and then one of them carried the checkin down the steps."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues on the plane, and we were not rescheduled for another flight until 28 hours after our original flight on a different airline. Our final destination was not the same since the flight was rescheduled to depart Washington so much later, and SAS had terrible customer service in trying to change the second connecting flight to Berlin instead of Hamburg. We talked to 5 different representatives from the airline before someone would accept responsibility and take action instead of passing it off to someone else/ another company."

Pros: "I liked that it was comfortable and that the crew did not constantly make announcements or wake you. They made boarding easy. I loved being able to utilize the lounge. My 4 hour layover was easy and relaxing."

Pros: "I enjoyed my flight, the flight attendants were extremely nice and answered any questions I had. The pilots did a fantastic job getting me to my destination safely. Boarding and getting off the plane went smoothly. I will use this site again for my next flight 5 star service"

Cons: "My flight was canceled the day before my departure via email. The customer service contact number for SAS did not work--I tried multiple times over the course of 12hrs+. The online help page gave a 404 error. I had no way of contacting anyone from SAS. Later that night (night before I was supposed to depart), I received another email saying I was booked on a United flight about 5hrs earlier than I planned on leaving. I had to cancel my morning plans with my wife to make the earlier flight. I never (still, a week later) was able to contact anyone from SAS."

Pros: "We were delayed leaving Chicago because of the weather, and so we got into Copenhagen late. The crew of this flight were kind enough to wait for me at the gate, even though it meant delaying the flight a bit. This was wonderful and greatly appreciated."

Cons: "Once I landed in Nice, my luggage didn't make it. Since I was in Monaco, I didn't get my luggage for 3 days with no extra clothes to wear. I called to complain and to see if I can get a voucher at least on future trips. I was given a number and when I called it they told me to email my complaint instead. I emailed and got a generic reply saying my email was received and no follow-up. Then I needed to change my return trip because of a last minute emergency. We called SAS and they told us we bought our tickets through a 3rd party and they couldn't tell us who it was. We figured out who they were and was told by this third party that they would have to charge us a minimum of $450 to change the ticket by them, and possibly more by SAS for the price difference. It didn't make any sense to me as to why an airline or a third party would rather waster a ticket since I wasn't able to leave on that day than to try to accommodate us fairly. I don't know who is going to read this email or if it is even going to to the right person. In the slight possibility it does, I would really like an answer to some of my complaints. The flight was good and so was the crew, it is the extra stuff I described above I have an issue with. I travel a lot for work and it would be sad if I had to no longer use your airline because of bad customer service."

Pros: "The direct flight makes a difference and leaving from SFO is easy. Boarding was a cinch and it was a pleasant surprise to find a pillow, blanket, and headphones waiting at my seat. Once we were settled in and in the air, it was a pretty comfortable ride. The in flight enteretainment has good content, as long as your console works. Meals were very good and served at good times. There was also plenty of water available at the attendants station throughout the flight. There's no booze offered with meals for free, so if you want a drink you're going to pay for it."
Cons: "There were a LOT of families with small children who clearly had never flown or did not like to fly. Despite it being close to the bathrooms, it might be a better option to get seats further away from the doors (the extended legroom also provides space for a hanging crib). I was woken up by crying quite a bit. While the legroom is good, the reclining angle of the seats counters that if you also don't recline your seat. Also check for seats with entertainment boxes under them, as you lose a lot of space to store your things and extend your legs under the seat in front of you."

Flight crew did not check seatbelts prior to takeoff in the forward section of coach. At least one seatbelt remained unsecured and one child had a backpack on his lap during takeoff. They said that seat or middle seat in row 29is only choice. I said we paid for upgrade. They said to ask for a refund at LAX when landing at midnight. Asked passenger in 4D when he got his seat assignment - SAME DAY as flight, paid nothing for upgrade. I signed up for frequent flier program two weeks ago. Will be cancelling when card is received."
