Norway has restricted the entry of all travelers who are not nationals and residents of Norway, or an immediate family member.
There are a few exemptions, for instance for journalists, seafarers and aviation personnel, foreign nationals for whom special reasons indicate they should be granted the right to enter, such as specific care responsibilities for persons in Norway or other compelling welfare considerations, foreign nationals who perform commercial transport of goods and passengers, foreign nationals who work in critical public functions, and health personnel from Sweden and Finland who work in the Norwegian health and care services.
Travelers and airline crew must complete a registration form before arrival.
All travelers arriving from high-risk countries must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test results issued within 24 hours prior to departure and be in English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, French, or German. Nationals and residents of Norway, travelers under the age of 12, travelers with a diplomatic or service passport, merchant seamen and military personnel are exempt from this requirement.
Norway has imposed mandatory testing for COVID-19 for all travelers arriving from a country with a high level of transmission. The test is also mandatory for Norwegian citizens. The test must be done as soon as possible, and within 24 hours after arrival at the latest at the airport or other border stations. If that is not possible, the traveler must contact the local municipality or another test center to arrange testing. Testing is free of charge. There are some exceptions from mandatory testing, including children under the age of 12, personnel with critical social functions, cross-border workers, long distance drivers and diplomats.
Due to the coronavirus mutation, travelers who have been to the UK, South Africa, Ireland, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Brazil are also required undergo a PCR test at the Norwegian border.
Travelers arriving from high-risk countries to Norway are subject to a 10-day quarantine with a few exceptions for people traveling for work.
Travelers who do not have a place of residence, must stay in quarantine at a hotel for 10 days after arrival. The cost of staying at a quarantine hotel is NOK 500 per night for both private individuals (adults) and employers.
Non-residents are still able to transit via Norwegian airports as long as the final destination is not within Norway.
There are currently 100,280 active cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in NO and 774 deaths as of May 16 2021

When we were leaving the plane after it landed my mom had to stay behind while I went to the front of the plane a good wheelchair assistance. The same stewardess said why did your son leave you and my mother had to correct her and say that he went to the front to get wheelchair assistance. The lady was very rude and didn't know proper manners."

Cons: "The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed "zone" boarding. As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."
Cons: "the older stuardess on my flight from Cancun to Atlanta was very misinformed- told me my carry on wouldn't fit in the over head bin... it did. Told me I had to check my duty free liquor.. I didn't. Told me I couldn't bring all of my liquor in to the US... I could. I just kept saying ok to her just to shut her up, but she ensued with her comments and wrong info as if I don't travel as often as I do. Perhaps she was attempting to be helpful, but it came off as obnoxious and rude especially since she was wrong on every accord. Humbleness and customer service training would do her very good. All other DELTA staff have been great."

Why couldn't the first gate agent say that instead of giving me the runaround and wasting my time???"

It is nice that you can play movies for free over WiFi on your phone or tablet (since the in-seat system simply didn't work...), but, bizarrely, the WiFi movie selection was different from (and substantially smaller than) the seat movie selection. What's that about? And the WiFi movie scheme is way more painful than it needs to be, requiring you "check out" movies using your web browser, then switch to a separate app to actually watch the movies. Clearly the product of a company mindset whose ONLY concern is "can we check some box", with absolutely no interest in "how can we delight our customers?""
Cons: "So we get the same entertainment system all these flights use: some ghastly totally non-optimized Linux setup that was rebooted three times during the flight, took 20 minutes for each reboot, and never worked correctly after any of the reboots. (The only movie my system would ever play was the very first one, and none of the on-screen controls worked. The seat next door could choose multiple movies, but each movie froze after 40 minutes). The amazing thing is: why don't they just install a damn iPad mini or Android equivalent in the back of each seat? Would be lighter than what they have today and would work FAR better. You'd need some co-ordinating/provisioning software to provide for OTA announcements and movie updates, but basically it's not that hard... At the very least, hire a Linux-head to optimize your startup scripts! It's just sad to see this 20 minute startup process (all dumped on the screen) with its constant repetition of time-wasting startup steps that just generate errors on this plane's particular hardware setup..."

I waited a full 1 1/2 hours. No other explanation. At the very end, when they finally put me on a flight, they chastised me for not checking in online---this was NEVER offered to me by Lufthansa on my flight there or on the return. With other airlines they always send me an email to check in online ahead of time. Lufthansa did not. I could not have been more disappointed with this checking in experience with Lufthansa. Again, the worst in my life and would be cause for me not to recommend Lufthansa to others. Otherwise, the flight itself and the actual crew were great. So disappointing to have such an unprofessional check in experience."

Pros: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."

The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Pros: "Flight was efficient enough and staff were friendly."
Cons: "It was delayed quite a bit and more on-time updates would have been appeciated."
Pros: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Cons: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."
Pros: "Loved this 747! Crew was professional and food was very good."
Cons: "We had a long wait (25 minutes) at the gate because we were early."
Pros: "I have no complaints about the air crew. They where pleasant and attentive. Plenty of free entertainment. The food was good."
Cons: "my only complaint is the USB ports didn't work on any of the chairs that me and my family where assigned to."

Cons: "Our flight from Nairobi to Lusaka was cancelled for some reason and we did not find out until we happened to log into the website to double check our itinerary. They automatically rescheduled the flight only giving us 25 minutes to reach our next flight...impossible. so, after calling, we were re-booked again and forced into a 13 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."
Pros: "There was no flight! So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Cons: "I wasn't sitting next to my partner and we sat on the Tarmac for 45 minutes after the flight was already delayed by 30 minutes."

Cons: "One and a half hour delay on a 50 minute flight. Flight was operated by Cityjet on behalf of KLM. Never have I seen such bad customer service: from rude people at the bagage drop off to incompetent hostesses at the boarding gate."
