Cons: "J class seat, 12A window. Top of my seat curled around my sides, which blocked vision thru 1.5 of the 3 windows I had access to. The enclosure also protuded into my left bicep when I had my elbow resting on the arm rest. Table on my right hand side was too close to my body, and to high to reach a drink easily, I literally had to lift my whole right arm to pick up a glass."

Pros: "That the A380 was only 70%full, resulting in me getting three seats to myself. I was able to stretch out and sleep for most of the flight. Food and service were top notch. Better value than Lufthansa or American, for the overall flight experience. You could fly cheaper, but not better, in economy."

Pros: "Everything was pretty great. Crew is very nice. Food was very good actually. 2 meals with snacks when asked. Hot towels were given a couple of times. Drinks were served and offered throughout the flight. Socks and toothbrush also given. Entertainment was great with a good mix of movies. Chairs were comfy and leg space was ok."
Cons: "I don't think I would complain about the space otherwise except that the person in front of me decided to recline their chair all the way back. It was a tight and fairly uncomfortable ride the rest of the time."

Cons: "Old plane. Old in flight entertainment."
Pros: "Reasonable price"
Cons: "Missed flight for medical reasons with 9 month old son, attempted to use remaining onward flight to Europe and return through Swiss which was refused! Most unreasonable, cheating me of my payment. I have since sought legal advice and contacted travel agent regarding, seems case law from several instances in my support. I had to pay thousands for new flight Austrian Air. Swiss thieved my money and I dont mind saying so. Unfair and unfair conduct. I am saving this letter for twitter to tell my friends of my disgust. I will be happy if this is sorted refunded immediately. A copy of these details and medical letter already provided to Jithendra from flight network (online travel agent)."

Pros: "It was a standard flight"

Pros: "Friendly crew, excellent service. So far best economy class"
Cons: "Food can be better"
Cons: "Air Canada needs to update it's entertainment systems. On flights to and from my destination both the audio jack and screen were broken. Also, the flight did not receive any salads, leaving this vegan with slim pickings. Get it together, Air Canada!"
Pros: "The crew was nice."
Cons: "Everything is too cramped. The sound on the entertainment unit is terrible."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Stewardess never smiled once! She was approx age 45 and should know by now how to be professional. Not the start to a vacation anyone would want."
Pros: "There was one crew member was passive aggresive and doing his best to annoy the whole trip, I had to get other crew involved, he was hitting on my friend as well....."
Cons: "This was a United flight sold as Air Canada to me and Lufthansa to my friend. This made check in twice as long since we went to the wrong counters. The quality was horrendous for an international flight and the entertainment system was broken. I paid atleast 50% more than I should have. Never fly UA"
Pros: "The ✈️ and timing"
Cons: "Amounts of food is ridiculously little for someone who gets hungry fast"
Cons: "Lemon pasta mixed with tomato pasta was weird. Little salad was weird. What was it made of?? Not bad, just weird. Choco brownie was nice but richer than Trump's claims about his own wealth. Will get the chicken next time."

Pros: "Great food and good space for economy"
Pros: "Everything was good"
Cons: "One Stu artist who was a older women she was very grumpy, there was little to no turbulence the whole flight and if you got up to go to the washroom and we’re waiting and seatbelt light came on she would make u sit down immediately even if it wasn’t that rough, she made a girl wait for the washroom for 45. Minutes was kinda pathetic, when she was on her shift break not one person had a issue with any of the other flight attendants only her"
Pros: "Crew was friendly"
Cons: "Air Canada was a disaster on our vacation. Delays, re bookings, cancellations. Every thing was told to us as an excuse from the weather, flight attendant was running late, not staffed enough, need supplies on the plane, someone died, planes needing de-icing, planes too small, planes overbooked... you name it they said it! New York to Toronto, Toronto to Edmonton and return. Not one single flight was on time! We got put in a Hotel - only nice part of the trip - got Vouchers for $15 each - such a low amount!!! Didn't get our luggage with our clothes and amenities to use at the hotel - had to sleep in our plane clothes. Spend extra money we didn't have... it was awful! We will be staying away from Air Canada for awhile!"
Pros: "On time Boarding was good Seats were decent Food was ok"
Cons: "Seat selection during booking not possible couldn't get electronic boarding pass on return flight Movie selection limited"
Pros: "Air Canada's airplane cleanliness is second to none in my book. That's why I always fly with them... Or rather flew..."
Cons: "The unending stream of excuses and explanations failed to convince me that this was anything but mismanagement that caused a delay of 5 hours. We'd be told something, and told the exact opposite, or a contradicting statement 15 minutes later. You botched this one bad Air Canada."
Cons: "No room. Cramped, impossible to sleep on an overseas flight"
Pros: "Everything went smoothly & everyone was helpful"
Cons: "Nothing every thing went well"
Cons: "Incredibly disorganized"
Pros: "Friendly staff, decent food"
Cons: "Premium Economy seats didn't have leg rests"
Pros: "I flew through Vancouver from Boston on my way to Brisbane, Australia and back. I was nervous at first because of the 2 hour connection windows. This might be a testament to Vancouver Airport more than Air Canada. The entertainment was ok. It had a decent variety to select from but i only ended up watch a few things and entertaining myself or sleeping. I paid to sit in an exit aisle as I only had middle seats to select from. It was worth paying for the freedom to stretch your legs and get up anytime without disrupting your row."
Cons: "The food was ok, I personally wish the drink cart came by more often so I didn't feel rude asking the air hostess each time. They were always very accommodating though."
Pros: "Not a lot"
Cons: "Poor aircraft, uncomfortable seats, not recommended."
Cons: "I was on 4 Air Canada planes none of them were clean; the seats are not cleaned after use. The staff are pretty rude. The food was terrible."
Pros: "flight was smooth"
Cons: "We basically were left without info about connecting flight! Also priority boarding for passengers with kids should be announced. It's not the job of passengers to ask. Crew could use more friendliness and being more helpful in giving directions especially in flight and for connections. The lady that checked us in was the worst. We gave her boarding passes and passport and after checking she gave them back to me in a disorganized way, I had a toddler and I had to stop and arrange my documents first. She did not even indicate where to keep the strollers. All she cared was to see d face of my toddler, in my effort to get d child up from stroller and turn her around to her, she fell and guess what, this lady did not even react! Unflinching, she just wanted to check d face of my 3 year old in case she is impersonating. That being said, some other staff were very friendly so this is not generalizing all to be same way"
Pros: "A special thanks to flight attendant Var for the superb service on this flight."
Pros: "I like the time this flight saved me. The food was good."
Cons: "Not a lot of choice in entertainment, but it still was fine."
Pros: "Meals were good and I do like the premium economy seats."
Cons: "One issue that the premium economy seats have is that they recline button is very stiff to push. Then when you have final pushed it in then push back on the seat it falls to the full recline position, potentially surprising the passenger behind. I thought this was isolated to this flight but have now encountered in 2 subsequent flights in AC premium economy."
Cons: "As is normally the case crew on AC flights were rude"
Pros: "Hour and a half late. Uneventful other than that."
Pros: "It was not a completely full flight. The Boarding process was done by mainline Air Canada employees and it was perfectly good and the flight left on time. The aircraft's interior was not clean. The carpet the seats and the tray tables all dirty and discussing. The seats are undiscribly substandard and uncomfortable. The bilingual announcement was done incoherintkyin both languages absolutely not professional Crew was nice except an Asian/Canadian flight attendent. It's a less than adequate experience even for a officially second tier airline. Why does Canada put out an embarrassing product like this airline ? Shame on them !"
Cons: "I am filing a complaint with regard to my recent flight on Dec 31, 2016 from Barcelona (BCN) back to San Francisco, US (SFO) on Air Canada, with a connection in Toronto, Canada (Flight # AC1915 and AC739). My wife and I were denied boarding at Barcelona because we did not have an ETA to visit Canada. However, we actually qualify for the Transit Without Visa Program, allowing us to transit through Canada to the US without an ETA. Please see below. My wife and I arrived at BCN airport in Barcelona before 11 am, more than 3 hours prior to the departure time of 2 pm for flight AC1915 to Toronto. Please see the attached bus ticket as proof, indicating we boarded the bus at 10:30 am at Barcelona city center. This is more than enough time for check-in processes. I knew about the ETA requirement prior to travel. However, I also knew that, as a Taiwanese national, we qualify for the Transit Without Visa program, allowing us to transit through Canada to the US without an ETA. The Canadian Government website states that: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas-all.asp#eta-exemptions “The following persons are exempt from the eTA requirement: • Foreign nationals seeking to transit through Canada under Transit Without Visa or China Transit Program.” Furthermore, also on the Canadian Government website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1092&top=16 “Travellers whose planes refuel in Canada going to and from the United States, as well as participants in the China Transit Program and Transit Without Visa Program, do not need to have an eTA or a visa to transit Canada.” We qualify for the Transit Without Visa Program because according to the Canadian Government website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/twov/travellers.asp • We are citizens of Taiwan • We hold valid Taiwanese passports (please see attached passport photo) • We hold valid US visas (please see attached green card photo) • We are traveling to Canada on an approved airline: Air Canada Rouge • We transit through an approved Canadian airport (Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, terminal 1, without a change of terminal between flights) • We hold a confirmed onward ticket to the US the same day (AC739 to San Francisco, departing at 6:55 pm the same day) • We arrive during operating hours for the US in-transit pre-clearance facility. During check-in, we were told that we needed an ETA and denied us boarding. I tried explaining to the supervisor on duty that day that an ETA is actually not required for us since we qualify for Transit Without Visa, using the arguments I presented above in this letter, as well as showing him the websites from the Canadian Government. However, the supervisor insisted that we needed an ETA, citing the general policy that Taiwanese citizens require ETA to visit Canada. What he did not realize was that we satisfy a very unique case that did NOT require an ETA."
Cons: "Flight was boarded from the front - back, that is the last row boarded last. It makes some sense that first or business class boards early but the rest is at least inefficient and causes everyone to be standing around in the aisle."
Pros: "Air Canada ground crew where very good and helpful as where all staff"
Cons: "Plane was overly cramped, if you eliminate one set of seats and only had 8 across and less row, I think you would make great improvements to overall customer satisfaction if the seating was mad alittle more comfortable"
Pros: "The flight attendant were good and professional."
Cons: "There was an overbooking, so I gave up my place for someone else to travel in exchange of compensation. The flight back to Toronto from Atlanta was delayed by 2 hours and a half, which put me in risk to miss my connection flight. The plane was small and there was not enough space for mid size people."
Cons: "They boarded early while our connecting flight was late. They told us they could not allow us in even though we arrived 1 hour before. Had to purchase all new tickets."
Pros: "Crew was friendly"
Cons: "No leg room, no snack for a 5+ hour flight, a bit messy, no entertainment, not too comfortable"
Pros: "We boarded on time and made connecting flight with no issues."
Cons: "My son had no tv monitor (broken?0 the entire trip with no resolution to the issue. We asked flight crew several times to see what could be done and were told they would reset it. We have very little confidence that was done and no other resolution was pursued. The plane was not very clean and the smell of one of the bathrooms was terrible."
Pros: "customer services"
Pros: "Served edible food (not the best quality)"
Cons: "Uncomfortable; No source of entertainment; No functional charging ports; charges for snacks; some staff seemed rude"
Cons: "It was canceled"
Pros: "Great selection of movies. Quiet plane noise."
Cons: "The light and entertainment system controls are in the arm rest and is very easy to accidentally turn lights on/off or turn the screen off for yourself or your neighbor. This is very annoying . The chicken/pasta dish was the worst I had in many years as an experienced traveler - my kids and I didn't bother after the first bite"
Pros: "Friendly crew Newer airplane (787) On time"
Pros: "Got back home."
Cons: "Air Canada messed up new luggage process in YYZ for our BDA flight. Some connections qualify for baggage transfer with no pickup in Customs. BDA does not qualify. AC spent over an hour trying to figure out what to do with the luggage. Poor communication and inconsistent messaging didn't help. We made our connection but only because it was otherwise delayed arriving due to weather."
Cons: "The person behind me kept kicking my seat and yelling at me to not recline my seat. I called a crew member over and asked if I wasn't allowed to and he said well she does have long legs. I paid for economy knowing the room that I was going to be given .. If she didn't like having her legs squished she should have upgraded her seat and the crew member shouldn't have allowed me to be uncomfortable and not having the same luxuries as the rest of the customers."
Cons: "Especially the crew."
Pros: "New and spacious"
Cons: "The food wasn't great but then again it's just getting you where you want to go"
Pros: "Boarding and food was good"
Cons: "Entertainment options were out of date and"
Pros: "Staff were nice and helpful. Food was surprisingly good for being on an airplane."
Cons: "The flight over all was good. The annoying part was that we were boarded and then were informed there was a maintenance issue, then there was a fire alarm so we ended up sitting in our seats for an hour before the flight finally took off and it was already a 6.5 hour flight so being stuck on there longer was not ideal"
Pros: "The crew was excellent and they treated everyone very well."
Pros: "Good food. Easy flight"
