"I missed my flight waiting for PCR results. I was hoping that a circumstantial accommodation could be made to help me get into the flight, as I was trying to get to the gate a little over an hour before the flight was scheduled to take off, but I wasn’t allowed. I do understand it’s atypical, but it could’ve been possible for someone to help me get to the gate with a little over 30 minutes to spare…not easy, but not impossible."

She was able to get her water bottle filled during the flight, but my water bottle was tossed by the staff prior to the flight. How does this make sense? This was a 7 hour flight during which only 3 times were we given a small cup of water. That is crazy! Airplanes make you feel so dehydrated, and three small cups of water is not enough for 7 hours, that is absurd. Please, just like all other airlines and flights, allow people to purchase or fill their water bottles (regardless of the material of the bottle) prior to the flight so that they can remain comfortable."

The staff in Chicago told me they couldn't promise to get me food to Quito, Ecuador, but that they had put in the request for my returning flights. When returning, I spoke with the staff in Ecuador & come to find out that no request was ever put in. There were only notes of my initial inquiry about requesting vegan meals. Fortunately, the staff was great and were able to get me a vegan meal and told me that they put in a request for my connecting flight. When getting to the gate for my connecting flight the following day, the staff tells me that there is no request for a vegan meal. They were great and were able to get me one, but it was a bit annoying to have to keep dealing with the same issue on all four flights, especially, when I had spoken with someone prior to my 1st flight."

In Houston we were told that we were suppose to pick up our luggage in Mexico City and take it through immigration (we were told that this was very important) We waited for our luggage but in never arrived. After asking around at the airport we were told that the rule had changed and we did not need to pick up our luggage 2) The planes were old with no entertainment."

Cons: "On June 29 Aeromexico Flight 2683 arrived in Mexico City airspace and the Captain informed the passengers that the plane would have to refuel in Alcapulco due to inclement weather in Mexico City. The website https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/mexico/mexico-city/historic reports NO inclement weather on that date or at the time that AM 2683 was to land. I observed partly cloudy skies from my window seat as well. The ground crew in Alcapulco was unprepared for AM2683 and the fueling was delayed. After doing so, AM 2683 landed AFTER my connecting flight AM 684 was scheduled to depart at 1:05 AM on June 30. A female connection agent met me at the baggage claim and informed me that that AM 684 had not been held and had departed. The female agent was unhelpful, dismissive and rude. In fact, she had taken a personal cell phone call at the connections desk prior to assisting passengers of AM 2683 which lasted many minutes. She escorted us to the Aeromexico counter where I waited 30 or more minutes to speak to a representative. The representative at the Aeromexico counter informed me that there were NO flights to Quito until 1:05 AM on July 1. I asked if she could book me on another airline and she informed me that because the delay was weather related Aeromexico had no obligation to accomodate me. She booked me on AM684 for July 1. I asked where I was to wait for the next 24 hours and she said Aeromexico had no obligation to pay for lodgings. She gave me food vouchers for the airport. I immediately logged onto Travelocity.com and found a Copa Airlines flight to Quito leaving that afternoon which was in fact OPERATED BY AEROMEXICO! I booked that ticket myself and waited in the Mexico City Airport for 14 hours. What would have taken 10 hours took me 22."

Cons: "It seems like American Airlines has lived up to its reputation. More seats in a plane and less comfort. On top of that, the entertainment system has not been upgraded since the 70's. TV monitors in the middle and everyone has to watch the same thing. Of course, the sound system did not work for one entire side of the plane so I could only watch the movie and not hear it. If you are not going to have individual monitors for each seat, allow your passengers to what from their mobil devises like almost all other airlines are doing."
Cons: "Food was terrible and the audio was broken for the entire plane and couldn't watch the movie they played on the flight."

Cons: "Lost luggage for more than 18 hours. Poor costumer service by baggage assistance: Too many issues to even mention it. Arrived in Cancun w/o luggages and connection to Cuba with another airline and no luggages for 2 weeks."

Cons: "Dinner was okay, the mid-flight snack was awful and made my wife sick, breakfast was better. Entertainment console crashed four times, first crew member didn’t seem to care (aloof for most of the flight), other attendants seemed marginally more interested. No one checked back to see if the problem was resolved. Flight attendants seem to be in “check the box” mode doing only what was necessary."
Cons: "I didn't have enough time and had to rush to get to me connecting flight. It scared me that I might not make it to the terminal and gate in time. thanks!!"

Cons: "Flight was delayed by almost three hours. Crew provided NO service, but it was a late flight."

Cons: "This was a disappointing experience to say the very least. The boarding process in Quito was chaotic to say the least. The AA staff did not make an effort to maintain any kind of order. My husband and I are both enrolled in the AA frequent flyer program and had at least 6 people cut in front of us while on-line. When we finally approached the AA representative, Dayana Gómez, She was rude and not helpful. Our seats on the UIO-Dallas flight did not even recline. We sat completely upright for the duration of the 6 hour overnight night flight into Dallas."
Cons: "American refused to board me becouse LAN did not send the reservation to AA system. Flight was full and AA did not even talk with me about what to do. They just unloaded my bag allready checked to MIA.. After two hours standing at LAN counter they changed my flight to Lima and than to Miami. I came to Miami 12 hours late, very disappointed by this service. According to AA my ticket was never confirmed by the airline !! How can you sell it to customer ??"

Cons: "If I am in business class and platinum status, why can't I use the lounge - which is only available to Platinum status going to LA or SF, Latin America but not to Cancun. American Airlines needs to change this policy."

Pros: "The guy at the check in counter was awesome, even though his English wasn't great. He upgraded me to the exit row seats since my legs are long; usually you need to pay for this. The seats were huge and comfortable, though the arm rests didn't move, so you could stretch out (the flight wasn't that full)."
Cons: "One flight attendant was basically rude to everyone. She was so comically unfriendly that people on the plane were actually mocking her (for good reason). She refused to explain to us how the emergent slide worked. We asked because the visual instructions on the door were different from those in the seat back pamphlet. In fact, I still don't know which directions are the correct ones (they were contradictory)."
