It was a low cost ticket on a very convenient transatlantic flight from RDU, "Easyjet" pricing brings "Easyjet" seating. I have flow a lot, 3MM miles on UA alone, and this reminded me why AA did not get much of my business! I will have to revert to the "Continentalised" UA (another sore point!)."

Pros: "Love the direct flights from RDU to West Coast. Wish there were more cities on the list. The flight was delayed about 45 minutes after we boarded for take off. I hate sitting on planes idling. The seats are already uncomfortable, then add more time onto that to sit. But we made up the time in the air for an on time arrival. Hmmmm?"
Cons: "For a 5 hour flight at dinner time and then the 3 hour time change, the snacks provided are not enough. You just have to remember to bring food on the plane and then risk annoying your fellow passengers with the food/dinner dining space. More checks of drinks would be nice too. Cost cutting measures, but minimal considering a packed flight and pretty high ticket price."

Cons: "We could not check in online because we refused to pay for seats that I felt that already purchased or was entitled to one so I bought a ticket. When we got to the airport and checked in they did not put me and my traveling partner together meaning they didn't see them together not to mention. Our flight was delayed and we only have 4 minutes to get from gate a to gate. We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"

Cons: "When I booked my flight, I used Kayac like I always have in the past. To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

That has the consequence of the crew getting on the PA system asking people for change, and scurrying around the cabin in a desperate shell game exchanging bills. It's 2016. Get with the program and accept credit cards."

We had to pay $280 to rent a car and I drove all night and went straight to work without even going home to shower or get ready or anything. My 4 and a half year old son had to endure the whole thing too."

While still on the runway and for about the first 15 minutes of flight, There was literally a few frozen water drops, condensation I guess, dripping down on me because it was like a walk-in cooler. I asked for a blanket and the flight attendant said they were for first class only. He did then get me one and said "I had one left." Obviously a lie... but I was grateful for the blanket at that point because I was very cold. Other than that it was a fine flight and check-in was a breeze online."

Pros: "We liked the fact that George and Amanda were so very nice helping us when our flight was so late that we might miss our connecting flight. They assisted us getting seats on another carrier."

I had 10 minutes once off the plane and in the terminal to reach my gate to SF and I was in a walking boot do to an ankle injury. Once sweaty on board the flight was turned back to the terminal delayed three hours and I missed my flight home that day. I then spent from 11pm to 8am in the terminal"

Cons: "We were 3 hrs delayed getting out of RDU because a 'test button' wasn't working. Missed my original connecting flight and the two connecting flights they had me on standby for. got to ohare, the united customer 'service' rep said "there are no more flights to Madison today - I don't even have to look. If you want to get there today, you need to go get on the bus". They didn't even offer to pay for the bus ticket ! Just rude and no customer 'service' at all !"

Cons: "My flight last week they had us board and then de plane do to plane maintenance after I traveled litterly all day it added an extra hour. Then this flight Washington connection to Detroit from raleigh the pilot never showed up and extra hour went by, we got a new pilots but, then leading to faulty paperwork that took another hour and thirty minutes after boarding the plan to get sorted. When we got that sorted they then proceeded to tell us that the flight atendent had to leave and we had to wait another 20 min for another atendent to arrive before finally making our way to Detroit. They said to file a complaint and we would be compensated for our wait. Not sure if this is the right spot but I'm giving it a go. Thank you Keith Www.keithschmidt.com"

Cons: "internet/movies at a cost. I thought there were free movies, or so it seemed, but I could not figure it out. Would have made more sense for a little instruction for the free movie."

Cons: "I was in seat 17b, behind me were two preteen? Children apparently traveling alone and they were obnoxious. They were loud and continuously banging on my seat and the gentleman's seat next to me. At one point they fought and one let out a very loud howl. The gentleman and I both had to turn around and give them looks to try and quiet them but that didn't really work."

Pros: "Not bad overall. I was exhausted at one point and passed out in my chair. I would have missed my flight if the gentleman boarding people hadn't noticed and woke me up to ask if I should be on the flight. I was out so deeply that I hadn't heard any announcements. There wasn't any food on the three flights but a cookie waffle thing and that was all I had during the 13ish hours I was on planes. The staff was super awesome and nice. Space wasn't any different than other planes, but tight on the first flight. I got lucky on the last two."

The captain said "they should've known this plane has no AC and hooked up the external power, and I apologize". It wasn't great."

Cons: "There was very little legroom in economy seating. My knees touched the back of the next row making a very uncomfortable 5 1/2 hours. I think it is ridiculous to have to pay additional fee (up to $99) for extra legroom. I think it is called "premier economy" seating."

Pros: "this flight was only an hour long but it was enjoyable. made it home earlier which is always great. I like having only two seats on each side rather than 3."
Cons: "as short as the flight was, there were a few disturbances. first, the two kids behind me were off the wall. it wasn't a baby crying, they had to be 5 and 7 just screaming and being so loud when their parents just laughed. at 8pm It would have been nice for a crew to quiet them down. second, there was a disturbance by a woman who had to be escorted off the plane which caused us to sit not knowing anything going on for the extra 20 minutes on the runway. I'm so glad they got her off for our safety but we were in the dark about the situation. And United, you need to up your snacks."

Cons: "Although I purchased my ticket more than four months prior, due to some complication or miscommunication between SAS and US Air, my seat had been filled and someone had to be "bought off the plane" with a voucher and better seat. If someone wouldn't have taken the offer, I would have missed all of my flight waiting on a new connection."

It was a pretty crummy to spend Easter Sunday at the airport while our entire family celebrated the holiday. I do really appreciate the travel certificates we received for our trouble."
Cons: "As I stated above, we were stuck at the airport for the duration of Easter Sunday. We were supposed to be home by 1:30pm. Kind of a bummer to have wasted the entire holiday; but I guess that's what you get for traveling on holidays."

I felt that WAY too many folks had backpack and two small carry ones, but by bringing them to the gate - the announcement was made its a full flight so you can check your bag for FREE! Next time, I will not follow the rules and just simply check at gate?? That is message loud and clear from your gate folks."

Cons: "There was no leg room what so ever! I am 6 foot tall and around 275 pounds. The seats were made for children, not made for an adult. My seat was so uncomfortable my legs actually went numb, mainly for the fact that I couldn’t move because of how tight the seats were. I have flown many times and this was by far the most uncomfortable flight ever! I will never fly again if this is how planes are going to be."

Pros: "After having worked Monday 10 am until 7 pm AND then10 pm to4 am i was exhausted boarding a 6:50 am flight. Needless to say i was asleep before we left the runway. No-one bothered me, and I slept the entire flight. Didn't wake up until we landed in Newark and the tires hit the runway. Thanks United!! I'll def be utilizing your airlines again!!"
