Cons: "Our flight from Boston to JFK in Ny was delayed an hour. We got to JFK and ran from the plane to the terminal and they had already closed the door but the plane was still there. They wouldn't let us on the flight and it ended up even being delayed for 30 minutes! We talked to JetBlue and they said they couldn't do anything for us so not only did we miss out on a day in Italy, we lost our a ton of money on all the things we booked for Tuesday. We also then had to get a hotel in ny and everything was booked so we almost had to sleep at the airport but luckily we found a place that had a last minute opening. Still was super expensive and no one helped with a "destressed rate". Now we have to wait until 10 again tonight to try to catch the plane to Milan because Emirates only has one flight a day. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had."

Wifi didn't seem to be working while we were in the air, so we couldn't check the status of our connecting flight. 3. After we missed our connecting flight, we asked the representative at the "Ask Jetblue" desk if we could get a hotel voucher since we would be stranded at the airport overnight for another 9 hours and we were told we didn't qualify since the delay was due to Air Traffic Control, thus Jetblue policy says they don't need to provide any compensation for any delays caused by ATC."

I confirmed it with the server at the check-in point in Raleigh before departure. There was NOBODY waiting for my aunt with a wheel chair in Boston. There was only one guy with a wheel chair there, but it was for another lady from Turkey, not for my aunt. My aunt does not speak English, therefore it was hard for her to get someone to translate for her. She almost missed the connecting flight to Reykjavik."

Even if it had caused me to miss my connecting flight, the ceremony for the fallen hero was more important."

We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"
Cons: "When I booked my flight, I used Kayac like I always have in the past. To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

We had to pay $280 to rent a car and I drove all night and went straight to work without even going home to shower or get ready or anything. My 4 and a half year old son had to endure the whole thing too."

The front desk agents at the United Club in EWR were aggressively officious with a lot of the guests that day as well. Overall, customer service was very poor, even though the attendant on the flight were quite nice to me and gave me great service."

Once on board, the first clas flight attendant was awesome! She helped us fix a seating nightmare (agent had given my 3 y/o a seat by himself) and came back to coach during the flight to give my son some wings and to just check on us. She and our safe arrival are the only aspects of the entire experience that deserve any stars whatsoever."

On the first attempt I was notified that only immediate family members were would be an excuse but that I could try to request through a different faucet of emergency circumstances. I put through another request and was never contacted. I did not fly to Salt Lake but I was still charged even though they could very well have sold my seat to another person and made double the money for the seat. I am very disappointed with the service I received from Frontier."

Cons: "You get what you pay for. These were the most uncomfortabe seats I've ever flown on. Basically a piece of plastic with a vinyl cover and essentially no padding. The flight was half empty so after the fasten seatbelt sign went off I moved forward to the comfortable seats (there were 10 of them and only 3 were occupied). The stewardess told me I had to go back and sit on the ballpark seats. My back is killing me as a result. Also, at check in there was a long line. I asked an attendant if I could use the boarding pass machine, which for some reason are located in the front of the baggage check line. He told me I had to wait in line even if I wasn't checking a bag. After a half an hour I was concerned I might miss my flight so I asked a different attendant if I could jut go up and use the boarding pass machine since I wasn't checking bags and he told me no problem. This was at the BWI airport. I'm not sure if Spirit boarding pass machines at other airports are so oddly located, since most other airlines have machines located in a place one can can get to without having to wait in the baggage check line even when you're ot checking bags. The stewardess was on the grumpy side - waiting to depart I had closed my eyes and she told me I had to stay awake for her flight safety talk, which would have been fine, but she didn't give the talk for a nother 20 minutes."

Seated and ready to go and pilot announces another slight delay, now waiting for a co-pilot. One hour later, still strapped in and ready for take off, the co-pilot boards plane. Needless to say, approx. 3 hours after scheduled departure we are finally in the air. Arriving at 2:30 am made it tough for pick-up arrangements."

So much for any discount, my total round trip from Atlanta to Ft. Myers was now $485.00. I arrived at airport in plenty of time only to find out my flight was delayed. I was notified of this the day before my flight, then the flight was delayed further ( 3 hours delayed now) and of course the other shoe dropped when they informed us the flight was cancelled. The best part was when I was told they were booked solid to Ft. Meyers until January 4th. That was the perfect spoiler to my holiday plans. I quickly booked a flight on Delta for close to $600.00 and am leaving Chiristmas Day. Spirit offered me no help at all in making other arrangements. I had to go through a supervisor to get refunded. I am not impressed with Spirit. No wonder the stock is trading at $33.00 vs $80.00 a short while ago. Dump this airline."
