Cons: "The check in process for Delta was a chaotic mess. There was no one to assist passengers, lines were crazy long. I overheard so many people complaining about missing flights and they could not get any help. I also think the amount Delta charges for luggage was insane."

WORST part was that the temperature in the seating area at the gate was horribly cold. Departing passengers at a neighboring gate were bound for Fargo and sat with their parkas on and with parka hoods up. We Houston-bound had packed our coats & boots and were shivering. Then when we finally boarded the crew announced that the plane's water system was broken and so we would have no hot coffee or hot tea or hot anything. No water, also and obviously, in the restroom sink. But sani-wipes were provided in the sink basin."

When Delta was able to fix the changes in Sydney Australia they put my husbands ticket as a standby instead of putting him in an assigned seat and reported that they couldn't fix it that we would have to wait and get to LAX before the changes could be made again. There was a one and a half hour flight delay from LAX to Seattle. From Sydney Australia to LAX entertainment system didn't work the whole entire flight, they were screaming children the entire flight, and Delta had double booked seats on several different people. There were no apologies and no compensation for any of the incidences."

Cons: "I was put into the long line to check my luggage with 75 minutes to take off. Of course I missed my direct flight as I was put into a long line. The man who listened to me complain was very kind and empathetic and the only good part about being forced to miss my flight. "We stop loading X amount of minutes before take off" I can't remember the exact number but there was ten minutes to spare before said time when they stopped loading. Dealt with it. Not happy but at least my luggage wasn't lost. Will I fly with WestJet again? Probably. Will I expect some sort of hang up and/or inconvenience? Definitely."

Additionally, coming from Vancouver on a late arrival, no one helped expedite me to the flight. I had to leave International, clear immigration and Customs, then enter immigration and US Customs. When I told anyone I was possibly missing my next flight it was met with a shrug, as if it was just my problem. Not a good way to treat customers."

I bought a bottle of liquor in the duty free at the Budapest airport thinking doing it this way I would not get harassed. Wrong!!! They freaked out and held us up even longer! It's a ridiculous system, it should all be done at once with only having to stay in the long line ONCE! And to scan our own passports and waiting to see our name on some board to be able to leave that particular room just to be met with even longer lines afterwards is insane. I am not a tech savvy person, as I am sure a lot of others are not either, and I got barely any help to show me how the heck to do all of that! Unacceptable!! And to top everything off, an item was stolen out of my daughter's suitcase somewhere along the way!! Replacing it cost me about $40!!!"

I understand now the restrictions to bringing over 120ml bottles but they refused to even pour out half the contents (which they took into consideration on the toronto side) my bottles were only 125ml.... what a joke this airline is. i was flying alone and hadnt travelled from an airport in 15 years- emails i received DID NOT specify the restrictions of what you're allowed to bring in carry ons. how is someone new to this experience supposed to know?????????they simply told me there is a website i can go to to see the restrictions... but that website is not mentioned ANYWHERE. The airport staff were extremely rude and cold while ripping apart my bags because of toiletry bottles. I have an extreme anxiety disorder that made me have a panic attack during the baggage inspect and I was given looks as if i was crazy. absolutely disgusting people working in the airport environments. They caused me a world of stress. I will never in my life fly Air Canada again."

I tried to change it online as an email notification told me I could, but the website then told me I needed to call, which was frustrating. There was a 50 min wait and no call back option, and since I was on international calling, I figured I'd just wait until I got to the airport. The ticketing line looked relatively short, with only three people/ groups ahead of me. Yet it took 75 MINUTES for me to be helped. The people working were the slowest and most incompetent airline workers I've ever come across. I truly don't think either had a clue what they were doing. My agent didn't even know how to view my flights after I provided my passport. He asked me to look them up and read them to him. I had to find an alternative flight on my phone and specifically request to be placed on it since he didn't know how to view my options. Then, he printed me something, pointed me to another counter, and said "I think you're good, but I'm not sure. There's a chance they might refuse you. But I don't think they will." I was like, "Do I have a ticket or not?" And he couldn't give me a straight answer. By the time I left, the line had 15 people/ groups. Processed at the same rate, it'd take over 5 hours for them to be assisted. Never flying this airline again."

Cons: "The second part, from Toronto to Houston was the pitts. First of all they called me to the gate way before the boarding time and so I was a bit worried but when i got there there was nothing, they just confirmed I arrived from Montreal. This was strange and so I got a bit stressed as to why they had a called me and made me rush in the first place. Anyway, minor compared to the rest of the experience. The flight boarding was late, then an unscheduled stop in memphis for extra gas, then a tech problem that needed maintenance kept on on the ground. We finally made it to our destination 2 hours late. Most fellow passengers missed connecting flights and because we got out of the airport after midnight needed to get a cab to our accommodations. While I appreciate the attention to safety (and the curteous crew who obviously felt bad and were taking a lot of shit) we what was supposed to be a 3 hour flight ended up being 5 and there were no meals for sale,very limited snacks. We got one complimentary ,half can of juice and a bag of tiny bag spicy trail mix (labelled ranch) that i could not eat. After the delays we got an extra glass of complimentary cranberry juice. Which was amazing, but really did not cut it (from 5:15- midnight). By the end I was uncomfortable and starving! This was a radically disappointing experience in compared to the Ari Canada portion of the trip."

Pros: "Legroom on the AC Jazz CRJ-705s is amazing. It's within an inch of what you would pay upwards of $50 for on carriers like United for 'Economy Plus', but standard with every seat on this plane. Having seat back entertainment on this RJ is always extremely appealing (especially on a 4 hour flight like mine), and the movie selection is fine."
Cons: "I was in seat 20F on this CRJ-705, which is an exit row. It's not news that exit rows tend to get cold during the flight, but the air coming out at my feet near the door was absolutely frigid. I wish I had stuck a water bottle or something down there, I honestly believe it could have frozen. Needless to say I was happy to be on the ground to thaw my extremely cold toes. If you like to wear open toed shoes flying, never ever ever sit on an exit row window seat! On a different note, I was annoyed AC didn't even provide a nominal snack during the flight. They had a standard complimentary beverage service, but only food for purchase on a 4 hour flight."
Cons: "When my mom arrived in Vancouver apparently the flight to Penticton was canceled. I was notified at 2:08 AM on email and I'm trying to figure out where my mom is? 800 numbers do not work for Mexico where I live"
Pros: "Just awful"
Pros: "The crew on board was WONDERFUL. She was so cheerful and clearly loved her job. What a way to end 2015 and start 2016 (didn't get her name)."
Cons: "The plane was very cool but VERY old and loud. Nevertheless, seemed well-maintained and I felt safe."
