Cons: "The plane aisle is a bit tight and cramp and it is hard to move around. The chair in economy is not very comfortable very sturdy lack of cushion and back support. Leg room is ok, not as roomy as the flight from SFO to South Korea. When we boarded there was a strong smell burning fumes from the A.C. (air condition) that trigger my asthma and landed in Cebu very ill with asthma and allergy."

Cons: "Old style business seating, quite uncomfortable, not a full recline, very uncomfortable when fully reclined compared to other business planes, TV was small, not good quality, selection of movies was only ok, not great, service was ok, not great, they cater more to Korean customers then other guests, if you are on the upper deck de-planning is difficult and awkward as you have to go through the economy section and staff doesn't keep them seated, so no extra bonus for business in de-planing. washroom items not replaced (toothbrush / mouthwash), overall very average"

Numerous intermittent announcements: [The usual preflight safety briefing, the mid-flight seat-belt and arrival eta announcements, the mid-flight turbulence and temperature comments, the customs-forms hand-outs, the duty-free inflight shopping opportunity announcement, the eventual apologetic conclusion of the duty-free, inflight shopping opportunity] together spoiled my calculated chance of finishing a short movie."

Cons: "Boarding was a mad rush. Didn't matter if you were section 1 or 2 or 57. People were cutting, and putting their 7 carry on bags over your seat. I felt like the food was better on the shorter leg. Sharing 2 bathrooms with 300 other people should be a crime! Exaggerating, but the lines got ridiculous especially after each meal. The crew seemed haggard and overworked. They were prompt to answer the 'call attendant' button. Also not knocking it, if it's airline policy, but I had 1 beer with each meal (3) during the 15 hour leg, and with the 3rd Hite I had 3 attendants come up and verify my order of a beer and said they were cutting me off? But it's ok to walk around the aisles with wine bottles and fill up cups left and right the entire flight? Just kind of a weird stigma is all."

I did not want to make a big deal, so I just ate it. Then they did not offer any beverages when the meal came! I literally had to beg them to make me their famous “Singapore sling”. Shocking really!!. When I had my coffee, my request for cream and sugar went ignored THREE times. Finally they grudgingly gave me only cream, rendering my coffee undrinkable. .....And the list goes on. Never ever will I travel on this horrid airline again!"

Cons: "I Booked a flight that stated that it only had one stop in singapore, then direct to SFO after arriving in singapore i was told that i had to go to a transfer counter, that there was a problem with my ticket. after arriving at the transfer counter they took my boarding pass for my dircet flight to SFO, & told me that i now had a stop in hong kong, that the direct flight to SFO was over booked!! this is not right i wouldn't of booked this flight if they had been truthfull about the extra stop. i will never use singapore airline or kayak again!!!"

Cons: "I purchased this ticket without realizing that the law stipulated 6-month validity remaining on one's US passport to enter singapore. The Singapore Airways website does not state this anywhere, and it was not until I arrived at the airport that I was informed that I wouldn't be able to check in, but nor could I refund or transfer the ticket. The booker should be obliged, when one enters the passport information upon purchasing the ticket, to make note if the passport expiration time is not valid for the flight. Spent $600+ on the flight, and the customer service person I spoke to from the airport was very abrasive and not interested in helping me figure out an alternative."
