Cons: "Delayed over 4 hrs, missed connecting flight as we were supposed to meet with in Frankfurt. Spent hrs getting a new itinerary, one bag never showed up in Nairobi."

Cons: "Too short a connection between flights. Missed connection. No priority for those with connecting flights. No customer service to ensure passengers know which gates to go through and if passenger has chance of making flight. No recognition of time it takes to get through customs and security to make connecting flight. Actually any semblance of customer service was lacking for passengers to make connecting flights."

Pros: "I flew in an A380 from LAX to FRA and that is a huge airplane but very nice. The flight from FRA to TLV was full and that airplane had no USB charge ports and no seat back video. I refuse to fly El Al because they don't have video and charge ports. Now I need to avoid flying with Lufthansa."

At no point in the booking process, when I paid over $800 for the trip, was I told that I needed a specific travel visa (Canadian ETA) to fly back into Toronto for my return flight. Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"

Cons: "The entertainment system in my seat was not working. The crew was very helpful in terms of trying to fix the issue, but unfortunately the system was not fixed. The seats were difficult to push back. We tried several times to push back the seat for the passenger travelling with me, however the seat would not go as far as everyone else's. Unfortunately the flight was not as comfortable for her as it was for the rest of my party traveling with me. For such a large aircraft, Lufthansa should consider boarding economy by seat section. For example, starting with the persons who sit in the back first and then forward. It would speed up the boarding process and alleviate any lines in the aisles in the aircraft. Last but not least, my parties baggage was not transferred during our quick layover from Frankfurt to Krakow. Priority should be given to passengers whose final destination is not Frankfurt. We found out that our luggage's remained in Frankfurt when our names were called by baggage pickup in Krakow. The attendant who was helping us was very cold and treated us as of we were the ones who caused this inconvenience through his tone of voice, as well as his short comments. Lufthansa needs to work on their customer service in Krakow. We were rushed by the agent and it seemed like he wanted to get rid of us asap even though there was no line. We needed to understand where our baggage was and the options available to us, especially because our baggage was carrying important items for my sister in laws bacholerette party that night. We left not knowing when we were going to receive our luggage or if it would even make it to Krakow that night. We called the Number provided to us several times during the Day, however the line did not seem to be actively monitored by an individual. The website we were provided to track our luggage offered little to no insight on the whereabouts of our luggage. We finally found out that the luggage had arrived in Krakow and would be sent by carrier. The carrier arrived late in the evening, right before we were leaving for the bachelorette party thankfully. Better communication in these types of situations would greatly alleviate the stress one feels when their luggage is missing. Aldo surprised that the airline doesn't distribute a care package (I.e. toothbrush, paste, facewash) to passengers whose luggage was left behind."

We were supposed to use our mobile device to access in-flight entertainment via the United app. There were serious buffering issues and only a minute or two of movie would play at once. Also, there was no in-flight charging facility. For a 10.5 hour flight where passengers are expected to use their own personal devices for entrainment, they should at least provide charging facilities. The seats were super uncomfortable. Minimum cushion and recline. Although I requested vegetarian meal while booking the flight (way ahead of my trip) I was told that they were out of any vegetarian options."

Went to the forward bathroom and airconditioning running strong and bathrooms not in use. I think that in an emergency situation, all passengers should be treated with respect. Letting customers use the bathrooms in business class and receiving the same airconditioning would have been humane."

Cons: "The overhead luggage bins near my seat on my LAX-LHR flight were too small to accomodate my European standard carry-on, which meant that another passenger and I had to store our luggage three sections away before there was an empty bin big enough. I understand the need for different sized bins, especially since our seats were up against the galley, but I felt a little unsupported by the crew. They basically just told us, "walk down far enough and you'll find something"--this was true but not exactly helpful. It's a small thing, but I think maybe if you warned passengers sitting in seats with smaller bins ahead of time, that would help make things smoother, since another stressor was that we didn't find places for our luggage until it was almost time for takeoff."

Pros: "As a professional musician, flying with my viola is one of the most nerve wracking experiences, as if it is forced to be checked due to insufficient room for overhead baggage, it could be completely destroyed. As stated in Air Canada's online policy, passengers traveling with musical instruments that fit as carry on baggage are allowed to change to earlier boarding zones. After approaching a staff member with my viola, I wasn't simply assigned an earlier zone, but rather I was allowed to board first. On this principle alone I will be flying Air Canada again. Thank you!!!"

Cons: "THe previous flight that we took, on June 20th, from Las Vegas to Toronto, was cancelled at the last minute. As we had a tightly-scheduled flight to Amsterdam, we missed that connection. There was no notification given prior to the cancellation, just suddenly came up on the monitors at McCarren Airport. No explanation was offered. THe flight that we were transferred to arrived in Toronto too late to get us onto our Amsterdam flight, and so Air Canada personnel gave us vouchers for food and tried to book us a hotel room. We were ferried to 3 hotels, and turned away at all of them, an dwound up sleeping on the flor of the kid's area at TOranto Airport. we finally got to Amsterdam a day late.and had our trip upgraded to business class for our trouble. I have no quarrel with the treatment that we received from Air Canada personel. THey were very patient and gracious, in spite of a number of irate passengers in the same situation that we were in. However, the failure to have accomodations for stranded travelers was exemplary of poor planning on the part of administration, not personnel. I am really torn as to whether or not to use Air Canada again. WHen it is good, it is very good, but when iit is bad, it is the worst that I've ever experienced."

Travel to same route last year at this time and it was the same experience."

I buy flight passes which are good on Air Canada as well but Air Canada has taken away all the non- Rouge flights and I am left with no choice. On a 5pm flight out of Toronto, all the hot food choices were gone by the time they were 8 rows into food and beverage service. I'm seriously thinking of moving my loyalty status to West Jet. If only they had flight passes."

Worse is the lack of air conditioning and the sporadic wi-fi service. Worst of all was the almost two-hour delay and changing our departure gate at least five times. Two fellow passengers (one a native of Toronto) said it was always like that. The trip from Toronto to London and back was fine, but I'll try very hard to avoid Air Canada and its Terminal F."

Cons: "Flight cancelled. had to spend night in Vancouver next day flight delayed had run fast to catch connecting flight to Deer Lake. Appalling that you guys are so useless with a flight on a major route such as Vancouver to Toronto. Will fly West Jet next time."

Pros: "The pilot set an expectation of an early arrival (30 min) that was not met."

Cons: "There's a strong reason why the Asian airlines have greater customer satisfaction. I flew Eva Air, Cathay Pacific and China Airlines before. Their flight attendants literally walk back and forth non-stop during most of the time in the air to serve the passengers. Their food are much better. Added benefit: their flight attendants are much younger and prettier!"

Cons: "No food. Pretzels or cookies."

Pros: "Nice, polite and helpful bilingual crew. Apologetically when trouble started and we had to do two unscheduled stops in Calgary. THe second crew was also very nice but not very bilingual."
Cons: "The fact that we were over 6 hours late, and even with my old age, I went 24 hours without sleep. I missed my ride to the apartment where I was supposed to stay and had to rent a room at an hotel nearby, adding to the costs of the flight."

Cons: "Sometimes, Air Canada WASN'T any help in rescheduling! Can't get ANY help on-line, and finally made a two hour long distance call from Istanbul to the Canadian "Help Desk," with most of that time on "hold." (Similar to my time on "hold" when making other calls there!) London Heathrow Air Canada service desk was a GREAT HELP, however - once we got there."

Pros: "The airline personnel in Montreal was accommodating when several of us missed our connecting flights, automatically providing a hotel room and food vouchers for each of us."
Cons: "We were delayed an hour because of a miscommunication with the refueling truck in Montreal before the flight came to Bradley. Then, we sat almost another hour on the tarmac at Bradley Airport because the flight plan was not approved. This caused me and several travelers (out of a small flight of approx. 20 people) to miss our connections in Montreal. Miscommunication seems to be normal for AirCanada, at least in Montreal (almost missed my connection on the way home, too). I will not fly again with this airline in the foreseeable future."

Pros: "Nothing!"
Cons: "Nothing, everything was bad. Flight were late and service was really bad. I will never fly Air Canada again!"

Cons: "Especially the crew."

Pros: "Billy Bishop airport is awesome!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed and crew didn't accommodate a rebooking despite availability .. Although original flight did board soon after."

Pros: "We actually arrived alive."
Cons: "We arrived into London so late that we were forced to take a taxi at a huge expense. During the 3 hr delay the only food provided was a small bag of pretzels and water."

Pros: "Our family of four took this nine and a half hour flight on a day when it was important we stay awake. The inflight entertainment helped. My husband watched three movies, my kids and I played games (often together), and we used the accurate flight tracker to monitor our status. The food wasn't bad at all. Lunch was either chicken or pasta (which my son and I enjoyed) and we had wraps for snack (chicken or veg, which were very good). The beverage service was good and they came around a couple of extra times with water. The flight staff were friendly and helpful. My son is special needs and they were very accommodating."
Cons: "Boarding this flight was a zoo. Instead of orderly calling zones as usual, it was an every-man-for-himself atmosphere. And then boarding was actually onto a bus which carried us out to the plane. Boarding was in front and back of the plane, but deplaning was only at the front of the plane, which took forever and we had a connecting flight. Word of advice: don't try to connect with less than two hours if you're heading to the US. We had at least four checkpoints to go through. (But that clearly wasn't on Air Canada and they, in fact, had someone at Customs watching out for us.)"

Pros: "staff was polite"
Cons: "I think a "red-eye" should automatically include at least a pillow (whether or not you were in first class) and an attempt to keep the lights off in the cabin. Our carry-on luggage had to be far behind us and on the other side of the plane. If you would board the rear first and have each passenger keep their carry on above their own seat this would eliminate this problem and the congestion in the aisles which occurs because of it."

Pros: "The 787 was amazing."
Cons: "I had to take two different flights connecting through London Heathrow to make this leg of the journey."

Pros: "On time, excellent flight."
Cons: "There was only a very limited choice of movies to select from."

Pros: "Flight attendants did not wake me up!"

Cons: "We were late for our flight from London to Toronto because we checked on the Kayak website that morning only to find out it would be delayed 3 1/2 hours. Air Canada told us to only look on the AirCanada.com site. Why would Kayak put that on their website if it was not true? Stick with the facts. We missed our flight and caused us much stress going standby for the next flight out of London."
