Great choice of entertainment, crew was very fun! Food was good. Nice leg room at my seat. Carry-on compartments are very high in these planes, great for tall people, one can actually stand without hitting the head.
I could not select my seat (for free) at booking. Later I could not checkin via internet on my mobile, I needed the APP but couldn't download it (not enough battery at the time), consequently I had to take seat given at checkin at airport but attendant kindly found me a seat that was best in what was left on a fully booked plane.

The seats are super comfy and the staff are lovely and very attentive to ones needs. The only down fall would be that I had to pay for movies and a meal wasn’t included with my flight, but that’s minor. Also, baggage cost me 120.AUD for one bag! I thought that was pretty outrageous for one check in bag. But the pilot was very good and informative as the overall flight was smooth. Thanks again air New Zealand.

We fly a lot and have flown American, European, Asian airlines but this has to be the best experienxe ever. First, their checkin is all automated, even baggage. That makes the lines really short. Their staff standing by to help at every moment. When we used another airline in Australia Jetstar, we waited in line for one hour and then were scolded for being late! We even had to pay for our water and the staff took turn scolding us over our overhead bin stuff. Boarding of NZ airline was so comfortable, without pushing or crowds. Staff always welcoming you with a smile. Seats are wide and we were given free drinks, free headohones, and wait for it.... free dinner! And all served so politey and in the most gracious manner as if we were their guests. We were so taken back by their service and this was the aecond time we have flown with them in 10 days. My young daughter thought may be their staff gets paid more so they seem to be so much more happy. I also think that there is something when you dehumanize your customers by charging them for water and being uncaring to their needs. The staff also starts to treat the customers as cattle. Besides Southwest Airlines, I havent come across one another airline where the staff treat their custmoers with reapect while charging them for water. So airlines, take note. I would pay $50 per ticket extra just to be in NZ airline.
we purchased a sky couch for an extra $700 and was not put in a skycouch row. I have contacted Air New Zealand and have yet to hear back from them.
The crew are nice.
Customer service is worst, I called few times and stayed in the Line but nobody answered my call. And also, our flight was dalayed for few hours.
CS did offer Priority Business class immigration and lounge
Booked 6 months in advance, at counter for return was advised that they had over booked and wanted to change my flights. All my reservations pre made with transportation and hotels, they want to change on day of departure???? NO! NO notifications, terrible counter service. No entertainment offered!!!

I have been in the Philippines for almost two weeks with no luggage. Very limited response from the airline.
