Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "The crew was amazing!!"
Cons: "Nothing! Excellent flight!"
Cons: "Boarding in New York could have been better organized"
Pros: "The meals were an experience in itself. It felt like I was at a 5 star restaurant."
Cons: "The seat cushions in economy class could be softer. My rear end was feeling it after the long 11 hour flight from Chicago to Tokyo."
Cons: "Be able to select seats online within 24hours of flight for free"
Pros: "Smooth ride"
Pros: "Staff are the best of all airlines I have been in."
Pros: "The level of care and attention that was given to my comfort during the flight was extraordinary. Also the economy was much better than any economy i've ever come to expect from other airlines."
Cons: "The boarding I didn't know at first where to go to get to the gate. Having to exit and then re-enter the airport was a pain and further complicated my boarding. But that was not JAL's fault and is on SFO."
Pros: "That I probably won’t have to deal with AA for a while."
Cons: "The boarding process was a joke. No seat assignments until the last second. The front desk personnel would not help us with a seat assignment and said they were “working on it”. I sat down with my wife in the waiting area and observed the front desk personnel joking around with each other for the next 45 minutes before the flight. Very unprofessional and not helpful. Not a good way to represent your airline."
Pros: "Friendly and attentive staff with excellent amenities ie: check in, seat space, food quality, movies to watch, music, ...etc."
Cons: "Nothing to complain about here. Both trips to Tokyo, Japan--to and from Japan have been enjoyable and drama free."
Cons: "Japan airline will end the flights from Narita to Incheon on 3/25 which doesn’t work for my future trips."
Pros: "Great airline, roomy seats and they don't nickle and dime you like other airlines."
Cons: "I know this isn’t really the fault of the airline, but there was a loud toddler sitting behind me. It was frustrating, because the mother did not seem to do anything to have her child be quiet. It makes it hard for everyone around them to have comfortable rest, especially as this was an overnight flight. I have flown over the years with up to 5 children and do know how hard it can be, but it is important to foresee the needs of the child. I wonder of the attendants could have been a little more firm with the mother to ask her not to let the child roam the aisle."
Pros: "Flight was comfortable enough"
Cons: "4 stars for food and entertainment as it was only an hour flight."
Pros: "Prompt, friendly service. Clean aircraft with comfortable seats. Onboard meal for international flight."
Pros: "I love JAL! The customer service was top notch, the food was delicious, and it was very spacious for economy."
Pros: "No wait at JAL business class checkin.....security and immigration were slow, didn't see a separate line for business class if it existed. Access to Korean lounge, was fairly standard. Crew very friendly once on board. Plenty of good food and drink for a relatively short flight."
Cons: "IFE in armrests, not in back of seat in front. Limited liquor options onboard (just chivas)."
Pros: "The on board service was very pleasant. Enjoyed the movies on my seat's TV screen. Enjoyed the food very much!"
Cons: "First time on a 787 so was a little disappointed the economy class seating was still a little cramped, the in-flight entertainment and service made up for it though."
Pros: "Incredibly nice staff made you forget about the older plane model you are in. Decent airplane meals and the nonstop from San Diego makes Japan now a frequent destination for us! I lucked out with 3 open adjacent seats roundtrip woo hoooo!"
Cons: "Movie selection was the same on return flight which was a bit of a bummer."
Pros: "JAL always have good services."
Pros: "Excellent service overall"
Cons: "Nothing particular"
Pros: "The service was great. Food was delicious,"
Cons: "It was a bit too warm in the aircraft."
Pros: "The aircraft was excellent."
Cons: "The service could be bit more personal for a long 13 hour flight."
Pros: "As usual A1 service all the way!"
Pros: "Very warm attendants Excellent food for the price paid Highly professional crew Efficient boarding and ontime takeoff"
Pros: "Let's face it - flying b-class is pretty awesome, so for $3300, it was really great. Loved the food selections, though I did feel the food was a little on the heavy side. I had the Japanese fare, which was lighter, but a little more salted than what I prefer - but over all very good. Service was amazing - the crew is super-nice. The plane, a massive 787 jet, absorbed the turbulence like it was nothing. It was like riding in one of those Cadillacs from the 1970's. The lavatories were big enough that I could actually stand up straight (and I'm 6'0"). The seats were pretty good as well - they had a feature for extension of the seating surface to allow for more thigh support (which I love) as well as great lumbar support. the movie selection was OK - neither great nor bad, and I ended up watching 4 movies during the flight anyway. ;)"
Cons: "I preface this section by saying that I'm being very nit-picky here - there's not much I can really say, except that the seats, while they will recline to a flat surface, which is great for dozing off, they are angled about 15 degrees so you're constantly sliding down them in that position. Also, there could be more support for your head in the reclined position - I had to futz with pillows and a blanket to get that comfortable. However, the reclined position was the most comfortable, and I could get it so that I was sufficiently reclined with my legs extended and horizontal, while laying back without sliding down. This was sufficient for resting. I'm only mentioning this because I flew a business class flight on Delta in 2015 which had ridiculously amazing seats that reclined all the way flat and horizontal. On the 9-11 hour flight from Tokyo back to San Diego, which will take place mainly at night, this would be a very useful feature."
Pros: "I liked the overall service and professionalism."
Cons: "The entertainment selection was limited, it was an older system I assume as the screen was not touchscreen."
Pros: "Food, lavatory experience"
Cons: "Small carry and carry on bag"
Pros: "Glad to make it to Japan safely and back in one piece"
Pros: "Clean :)"
Pros: "I really loved JAL customer service at checking counter. So friendly and great customer service I received."
Pros: "The personnel from JAL was excellent as was the flight, food, boarding and comfort."
Cons: "We were informed our flight was not to land in Haneda but at Narita. We specifically picked that flight pattern because of the ease of traveling from Hawaii to Haneda to Naha. We wouldn't have to drag two large suitcases and a rollaboard after checking out of customs and immigration very far. Same airport to land and depart. Well the arrival airport was changed to Narita $32.00 per person for Airport Limobus to Haneda. We get off at Haneda and are informed we cannot stay there and wait at the domestic airport for our 6:25 am flight to Naha. We had to load all 6 pieces of luggage on the shuttle bus and transfer to the international terminal because they close the domestic terminal at midnight. There was no hotel accommodations at the domestic airport as the hotel was booked two months in advance!!! We had to wait at the international airport terminal till 4:30 am when we then transferred back to the domestic terminal with our 6 pieces of luggage. Tell me how happy you'd be!!!"
Pros: "Good staff service and friendly people. The food was good. The flight was on time."
Cons: "The Pilot communicated to the passengers only one time during this 4 1/2 hour flight. The flight attendants were making the announcements for arrival information and timing. Maybe in this culture the Pilot is above speaking to the passengers."
Cons: "Not much leg room"
Pros: "Seat was very comfortable and had many games and movies to keep me preoccupied during the flight."
Cons: "I didn't like that the crew at check-in and the crew on the plane told me different things. The crew at check-in told me I could keep my purse with me, and the crew on the airline told me I had to put it overhead. Please be consistent! Flying is very stressful for me, and I want the staff to make it as stress-free as possible. As for boarding, I wasn't allowed into the gate until an hour before. What really bothered me was that they had already let some people into the gate and shut some other people out. Either let people in or don't. Don't follow the rules halfway because then they won't mean anything. I was very shocked by this and have never experienced this at any airline before. All I wanted to do was sit down and relax at the gate before boarding. If this ever happened to me again, I would not fly with the same airlines. To think that this was a JAL flight, with such a high reputation of customer service, makes me even more wary of booking a flight with JAL. I didn't appreciate being treated that way, and I will not tolerate it if it happens again."
Pros: "Service was exceptional and good was good. Everything was to my expectations and would certainly use Japan Airlines again"
Pros: "Crew did a first-rate job, and space in economy seating was civilized. Snacks and juices were tasty and plentiful. Bathrooms were spacious and waits for access were manageable. Television screens and headphones in economy were easy to use and reproduced video and audio content well. Overhead storage space was adequate, even for an almost fully-booked flight whose passengers relied upon it very heavily."
Cons: "One of my vegetarian meals (the larger of the two) wasn't vegetarian. This was astonishing -- a first for me in more than twenty years of flights across the Pacific. Not once have I had a vegetarian meal that included chicken, but that is just what was served to me on this flight; I was obliged to spit it out, and to wash my mouth afterwards. The selection of films offered was demoralizingly poor, and the seatback pockets afforded even less storage space than usual."
Pros: "Cabin attendants were nice. I got sore throat so I asked some items, like water or candies. Then they served me them nicely."
Pros: "JAL ' service is nice."
Cons: "I didn't like MSG in food."
Pros: "Economy seats were extremely comfortable and roomy. What a difference that makes."
Cons: "Movies available tended to be either action/terror/suspense, or old movies. Very few real dramas."
Pros: "New aircraft and diligent crew; the food was frequent and tasted great. No complaints; would gladly fly JAL any time, anywhere."
Pros: "Everything from start to finish was awesome. The "poor" review by someone complaining about a gluten-free meal is typical of Americans that feel entitled. You are on JAPAN airlines... you do realize the non-gluten-free rice is a staple of the country. It's akin to a Japanese person complaining that there aren't chopsticks provided with the meals on an American Airlines flight. How were the staff supposed to help you mid-air? Mid-flight dock so one special meal can be provided for you? How about this: take some personal responsibility and purchase your own gluten free food for the flight and carry it on. Really... how can one compare the 787 with individual on demand entertainment, roomy seats, full meal service (they'll even bring a meal to you if you were asleep during the normal service), etc... all for no extra charge?!?!? It is simply amazing what JAL (and every Japanese company) sets as a standard for customer service."
Pros: "excellent food, comfortable, easy check in process"
Cons: "my bag was deemed not carry onable by staff but I had checked to make sure measurements met carry on criteria"
Pros: "Good solid flight on a relatively comfortable plane"
Cons: "Narita seems to have had delay problems as of late. What should have been a short flight was extended over 40 minutes on the runway. Not the airline's fault by any means, but I'd recommend looking for flights through Haneda if you're passing through Tokyo."
Pros: "I was surprised that such a short flight was able to use the newest generation of the 737, the 800 series. While as cramped your typical 737, the seat backs are super thin to allow just that much extra leg room for my two-meter frame. As always, the cabin crew was lovely."
Pros: "The crew was friendly and the sevices, food & entertainment were great. On 777 airliner, private entertainment system with wide movie selection. Seats have AC outlet and USB charging outlet."
Cons: "Flight from Taipei to Tokyo was delayed and ultimately cancelled because of "mechanical failure". Many passengers on the flight including us had international connections through Tokyo, with only an hour between flights. It was clear we were all going to miss this connection, but in a frantic and haphazard way, the JAL crew's only solution at the gate was just to get us all on the next flight out to Tokyo (I believe via China Air) no matter what our individual final destinations were. They said "from Narita, they will handle all your connections to your final destination." This was a bizarre solution. Why not reroute us individually on other partner airlines, through other countries/cities, from this international airport in Taipei, like airlines usually do? (Also, all of this disorganized communication by the JAL crew at the gate was never translated into English, I just happen to speak a little mandarin and was able to understand what they were directing us to do). My wife was the one who searched for an alternative route on her phone (through HK instead of Tokyo) via their partner airline Cathay pacific and showed it to the JAL rep at the transfer counter, and through a series of radio and phone calls, only then did they say "there might be seats left", but they couldn't book the seats for us there. In order to make the flight, we had to sprint ourselves to a completely different terminal and concourse to another transfer counter to finally book our seats on this Cathay flight. Needless to say, our luggage did not get pulled from JAL in time to make it on the Cathay flights, so we are waiting 2-3 days for them to hopefully be found and sent to us. Overall, I was completely disappointed by the JAL staff, who didn't take responsibility or ownership of the situation, and who's solution to just fly everyone out to Tokyo, no matter our final destination, and to leave us to figure out our connections there was extremely short-sighted and irresponsible, and was a total disservice to their customers. I expect much more from this airline. On another note, we flew JAL from Boston to Tokyo, and Tokyo to Taipei: the food was terrible and food options were really subpar for an international flight, I would've expected much better from JAL and the dreamliner flight."
Pros: "Absolutely great service and courteous crew. Was served drinks and water all the time. Would definitely recommend and fly JAL again."
Pros: "Excellent customer service. From check-in to inflight."
Pros: "The plane was ghetto and old and there was only one tiny restroom for the entire economy class."
Cons: "A newer plane with more restrooms would be great."
Pros: "ANA flights are always well run and good enough."
Cons: "Their iphone applications could be smoother and more functional."
Pros: "Excellent cabin crew."
Cons: "No in-flight entertainment, economy seats are narrow."
Pros: "Crew great but seating not so comfortable"
Cons: "Better Seats"
Pros: "Crew on ANA is always the best Also custom check in was amazingly fast, I went to the side custom check in by accident (there are two) It took less than 5 minutes, I didn’t not know I had to fill another card to leave japan but it was super easy as there was a person to guide me + basic info"
Cons: "Other than chairs being more comfortable nothing really"
Pros: "The crew"
Cons: "The seats were substantially more cramped than the other flight."
Pros: "Crews were great. They worked fast and helpful."
Cons: "12:05 am flight back to Lax is good because you can sleep a little then be awake for a good period of time before and after landing which helps promote getting back to normal sooner. Flight got a little chilly whole is was sleeping but otherwise a very good flight."
Pros: "Timely schedule"
Cons: "Foods and beverages quality/variation"
Pros: "Staff was great!"
Cons: "Food wasn’t the best."
Pros: "Crew were very hospitable"
Pros: "Clean plane, comfy seats and great staff"
Cons: "Everything was good didn’t hate anything"
Cons: "1. Missed our flight connection in Chicago because of delayed take-off from Tokyo. We were forced to use another airline and we landed in NYC about 5 hours later. 2. ANA flight attendants were not very well versed in the English language. Very hard to communicate our needs."
Pros: "A taste of Japan food."
Pros: "Crew tried to be friendly"
Cons: "Slow to depart after boarding on time, with an eventual delay of 1 hour (deplaning was extremely slow) before we reached the baggage claim area. The wait for baggage took another half hour"
Pros: "Food and services"
Pros: "Pretty much everything"
Pros: "The flight attendants on my ANA flight from Beijing to Tokyo were the most pleasant group of people I’ve seen for a long time."
Pros: "Very smooth boarding process and excellent, lovely flight attendants"
Pros: "I liked the way the pilot talked to us and let us know what was going on and still got us there on time even though our departure was slightly delayed."
Cons: "There had to be something better than pretzels."
Pros: "Service and crew were good, very kind and accommodating!"
Cons: "The layover at Narita airport was rather short to do some duty free shopping to bring home to U.S."
Cons: "The seats in economy are ok and not a good comfortable seat.. and needs improvement on food menu choices. But no problem boarding, the attendants are courteous and nice.."
Pros: "ANA great service, as always, outstanding work! The flight attendants so pleasant. American, Delta, or United can't pull off this kind of service."
Pros: "The quality of your aircraft. Clean, modern, plenty of leg room. The check in agent in Manila, Arnel (or maybe Armel) was especially helpful and accommodating."
Cons: "Pax are advised to show up at least 3 hours before flight. My wife and I showed up 3hrs 45 min before takeoff. There were perhaps 40 to 50 people already in line ahead of us. But no checkin counters were open. The first check-ins began 3 hours prior to take off. By that time the line was backed all the way out into the main corridor. It would be MUCH better for ANA and the customer to begin the checkin process 3.5 to 4hours prior instead of 3."
Pros: "Nice short flight. Houston is easy to navigate. Staff were friendly."
Cons: "They didnt want to board my twins and I early so we blocked the aisle as i got them sorted. I had to sit over the aisle from my children as it was a 2 2 seating but the staff didnt seem to pursue where their mother was even though i was 1 row back. They didn't need me but i thought they should have at least enquired as to where the parent was of 2 11 yr olds. They were also curt trying to rush us off the flight as my daughter was trying to locate a lost item as we arrived. She has limited sight and we need time to get off and to find things.... given she has lost an iPad, and very expensive reading glasses and other things on the trips that span 24 - 36 hrs."
Pros: "Staff are super kind."
Pros: "Food was good also"
Cons: "The flight left late and it was extremely hot in the cabin. It was a good thing that our connecting flight was a couple of doors down or we would not have made it, we sat on the runway waiting for our turn"
Cons: "The VOML food"
Pros: "Crew are nice, helpful and polite"
Cons: "Airport problems turned it into a very long flight. We circled around Fukuoka for and hour. We ended up landing in Nagasaki and used taxi to Fukuoka. Over all time to final destination is 6 hours late."
Pros: "Enough room for relax, I love this one"
Pros: "flight attendants excellent"
Cons: "Ordered Fruit Meal. It did not have a variety."
Cons: "Touch screens were a bit glitchy. Was not able to adjust brightness, and volume kept readjusting by itself."
Cons: "EVERY FRIGHT WAS DELAY, AND LOST BAGGAGE, AND MY SUITCASE WAS BROKEN!!!!"
Cons: "We didn't hear the announcement that the gate for our flight had changed. I just happened to look at the flight info and noticed our flight was not listed. I went to the desk then I was informed of the change. Poor service."
Cons: "Very hard landing."
Pros: "leg room!"
Pros: "Good staff, good service, good entertainment"
Cons: "Although my partner and I bought our tickets together and booked them almost 9 months in advance, we were not seated together, which made the flight more difficult and uncomfortable."
Pros: "I love the food and the girls was fantastic"
Pros: "Whenever given the choice, I choose United flights operated by ANA over thiose operated by United because the ANA planes are generally newer, cleaner, have far superior on board entertainment (important for 12 hour flights) food is better and crew is more responsive/ solicitous."
Pros: "Most all."
Cons: "Old business class configuration. Today, expectations are for lie-flat chairs, especially for longer flights leaving at very early hours."
Pros: "Crew was outstanding Food and service was excellent"
Cons: "Inflight entertainment was extremely limited. For a nine hour flight there was limited movies in English. Especially as we had seen most of the movies on the previous flight."
Pros: "Great seats in business class. Lots of privacy. Great service as well."
Cons: "American style Food could have been better. Didn't try the Japanese food."
Pros: "The airline gave us pillows and a small cover"
Cons: "The food was nasty, and no air circulation plus so hot in there"
Cons: "The food tasted very much like caned food and the seat had a pouch from wear and tear which wasn't very comfortable at all. Service didn't seem to anticipate service or emphasize needs."
Pros: "The space, movies, & comfort"
Cons: "The food selection."
Pros: "From ticketing/check-in to flight crew personnel; they ensure you are taker care of."
Pros: "Great entertainment options"
Cons: "Lost my bag."
Pros: "Food given even though it was a short flight"

Pros: "Food only pork and no other choice"
Cons: "They tell you that's what we have Take it or leave it"
Pros: "Great service. Good meal."
Cons: "Slight delay of 1 hour, late inbound aircraft (weather)"
Pros: "Asiana is a great airline. They got me there and back safely, the crew is always nice and professional. No drama...just the way I like it. I will definitely fly them again."
Cons: "The entertainment options were good but limited. If you fly Asiana a few times a month, you will run out of movies to watch. I hope they expand their offerings."
Cons: "Toilet cleanliness not maintained. Korean food delicious, but the chicken dishes and vegetables accompanying them NOT good."
Pros: "Korean food options were very good, crew were courteous, boarding was quick even with full flights and delays."
Cons: "Entertainment options extremely lacking. No options to choose films on 12+ hour flight Seats very firm and recline very far, which is a problem for person sitting behind."
Pros: "The crew was incredibly nice. They kept the flight quiet which was incredibly appreciated. The only downside was a long wait for luggage in Chicago, but that probably had very little to do with Asiana.."
Pros: "Everything. It was comfortable, the flight attendants were attentive. Before the flight, I was moved to a better seat because I require wheelchair assistance."
Cons: "Not a thing."
Pros: "They were nice about my bags. The airport was good. They took me to Paris."
Cons: "They just gave me two choices for food without any description; both times I got the lesser of two meals. The staff got a little testy when I didn't know what they were offering."
Pros: "A friendly professional crew"
Cons: "Food could be better. Was comparatively less quality."
Pros: "Everything it was great experience flying with asiana"
Cons: "Crew was very attentive"
Pros: "The flight attendants were professional and extreamly well groomed. The are a credit to Asiana Airline"
Cons: "This previous was delayed because they sold their empty seats to other airlines and allowed for those people to make it. However, those who had connecting flights weren't able to make it and had to stay overnight in Korea. The next flight arrived 14 hours after the original scheduled flight."
Pros: "Excellent first experience with Asiana... The flights were on time, the flight attendants were kind and helpful, AND my vegan meal was very tasty! Will definitely be flying with you guys again :)"
Pros: "the food, the plane ride the shows that were showing on the flight"
Pros: "There is plenty of leg room. Food is good compare to other airline."
Cons: "Long layover."
Pros: "I didn't expect there to be a meal & in-flight movies on what I considered to be a relatively short flight. It was a nice treat!"
Pros: "Two and a half hour flight but full meal still served. Good selection of movies."
Cons: "Cramped seating"
Cons: "flight delayed again out of Seoul."
Pros: "I like flying Asiana! Clean, they have built in entertainment screens, and friendly staff."

Pros: "Short flight but everything first class"
Pros: "the service was amazing and the stewardesses so very attentive and polite / this was perhaps the airline with the best service i have ever had in economy class // i also like experiencing the very authenic korean food that was a choice at each meal //"

Cons: "Boarding personal"
Pros: "Enjoyed an upgrade to upper deck of A380-800. Seats were very comfortable and privacy of having single seat was excellent. Entertainment was easy to enjoy. Service as always on Asiana was also excellent."
Cons: "Seemed like no air conditioning -- very hot the whole trip. Food was very poor -- glad we ate prior."
Pros: "Flight attendants were awesome. Much better than US."
Pros: "Depart and return delayed for 2 hours, we missed the bus to the ski resort"
Pros: "Food is good. Movies are good"
Cons: "It's a 2 decker plane and full. 2 of the bathrooms are not working. Flight stewardess on flight not so attentive. Inside of plane is hot."
Pros: "The service-oriented and very pleasant attitude of the flight attendants made up for the other inconveniences."
Cons: "Suitcase was damaged. Flight was delayed 2 hours. Movie choices were limited--especially for foreign films. Wish there were more international films with English subtitles. However, the flight attendants made up for it by their attentive service."
Cons: "Well I paid for the flight and bought insurance to visit my fiancé for Christmas. A few days later I found out my fiancé was cheating on me, so I tried canceling the flight. My reason wasn't good enough and it didn't matter that I'd bought insurance. I will never go through this trash of a site or its insurance again."
Pros: "Left and arrived on time They sent the luggage to the hotel first thing in the morning, which had come by the next flight."
Cons: "Luggage didn't make the connection."
Pros: "The flight attendants were very nice and spoke beautiful English, wonderful food/drinks, and the seats were comfortable with plenty of room. Both flights had a smooth take off and landing. Great experience all around!"
Pros: "Clean bathroom, well maintain during flight unlike some airlines 5 stars for that"
Cons: "Chicken was grilled marked than steam result tuff rubbery. Hostess refused to exchange it with beef saying thete eas no more on the spot, not even asking others waitresses from different raw, while later on when everyone wad sleeping I went to asked for water and there you go. She ead eating the beef from economic class and a dish from first class. I always thought that customers are valuable because we pay their salaries?! Very desapointed from this hotess from the Philli. Who during the who flight treat me like dirt, maybe she hates Americain? Also most of movies are children oriented only a few for mature minds and they are over a year old. First time on Asiana and last time even been a star alliance member what a disappointment!"

Cons: "I don't have the exact flight times but flight from Seattle to Korea was suppose to arrive in Korea at around 18:00 and leave for Ho Chi Ming at 19:00. It arrived after 18:00, boarding was suppose to be at 18:40 but by the time I was able to get on the rail to the main station it was 18:40. Luckly a crew member had a sign and was calling out "HCMC". Luckily I am in good shape because we ran through the airport to the next connection as they were getting ready to close the plane doors. Need to have someone walk and time, the time of arrival from Seattle into Korea, onto the rail, to the main station and distance to gate 40. You may very well miss your flight."
Pros: "It's hard to say anything was good when the flight was cancelled."
Cons: "6:40pm Friday flight was delayed 2 hours, and when we finally boarded, pulled away from the gate, and were ready to takeoff, they announced the flight was cancelled because they can't meet the curfew at Narita Airport. Took us another hour to deplane, and another hour to go through immigration and customs (yes we had to do it again), and get our bags. Then they sent us to a hotel 30 mins outside Seoul (they told us it was 20), gave us a Lotteria fast food burger and asked us to be in the lobby at 4:50AM (it was already midnight). Bus didn't have enough space for everyone so they had to call a van too. When we arrived at the airport after our 30 min ride, the bus dropped us off on the wrong side and we all had to walk 15 mins to the opposite end of the airport to check in. Since the rescheduled flight was the first flight out, the airport was super busy and security lines were extra long. After all those lines there was barely enough time to get on the plane. Summary: from originally scheduled time until wheels up I waited in about 6 hours of lines or just sitting around,1 hour of bus rides, slept 3 hours, and ate one lousy burger. All of this for what was supposed to be a nice weekend trip to Tokyo, which chopped down to a 30 hour stay in Tokyo. These guys should have known what time they can pull away from the gate to make curfew. There's no reason why we all had to go through this extra aggravation. Turns out Asiana has been making really tight schedules to accommodate the summer peak season, and they just can't keep up."
Pros: "The staff were excellent and very kind and attentive."
Cons: "In flight headphones were way too big"
Cons: "I wad so confused. I wonder Why your call centers registered in korea, china and u.s in lost service always? Instead of me, a hotel manager talked with call center after so many trying. But just told her it was my fault and you cut the call. I think your customer service team helped me more proper and instantly. But I was so sorry because your team just tell me to cancel and to rereserv again. Of course It was one of the solution I agree. If I buy the other ticket. I can get a boarding pass with my name is on it with rightly wrritten. Beyond reponsibility, please think about my side in china. I hope you check about my comment and to think about your attitude. To consider your side, Just send you message individually. Thanks"
Pros: "I had a great time during my flight from istanbul to Seoul . My seat didn't recline and cabin crew immediately helped and took me to a business class as an apology . They were very responsive to any time i needed help . And the food was amazing . Even the economy class gets gourmet meals ."
