Pros: "I booked via Kayak using Virgin Atlantic shared out to Delta. Check was confusing as both airlines used different flight numbers. When I went to check in with Virgin Atlantic they told me to go to Delta. When I went to Delta they told me to go back to Virgin Atlantic. I wound up checking in with Virgin Atlantic. Everyone was very polite but check in was confusing. Everything else was wonderful. Cutomer service was great from beginning to end."

Cons: "I showed up 2 hrs before the flight. Was told the flight from Toronto to Minn was delayed 30 minutes and go stand in line to speak to an agent. There were approx 20 in line yet only 2 gate agents at 4:30pm. One of the gate agents kept helping the Premium members and bypassing the standard line. The other agent was in a coma as his average person at counter was 10 min. Finally get to counter and they hand me a boarding pass going via Salt Lake in 30 minutes. But has a 3 hrs layover in SL. I then get to US Custom check for US residents re-entering and the line was a good 30 minute wait. You would think the Delta folks would have accounted for that line. I had to ask everyone in front of them if I could skip in front as the plane was now departing in 10 min. I had to then run on a bum knee and was the last to board. The agent at gate was saying we were calling your name but did they think I could have been stuck in customs? On that short of a window they should have walked me through Customs to make sure I got on a flight they wanted me to take versus my scheduled flight."

The airline staff were so nice.

Check-in was a nightmare. At least half the self-serve kiosks were out of printer paper so were out of service. It was chaos. No one was directing traffic, so you had to hope you were in the right line. We finally got to a kiosk and checked in, and printed one bag tag for checked baggage. We were in line to drop off the checked bag, and the lady working that station just walked away and didn’t come back. After we waited a bit, another person in line went to ask at the nearby counter if the bag check person was coming back, and she wasn’t, so we had to find a new line and wait all over again. Once we got our bag dropped off and our tickets, the rest was easy. The security line went quickly, and the terminal was clean and nice. Our flight was great and the flight crew was excellent. I think if someone had kept up with the kiosk printers, a lot of the check-in headaches and stress would have been solved.

Cons: "No snacks or drinks provided on any of my flights on American this weekend. 2 of them were real short so that makes sense but other 2 were long enough to have this but stopped before my row. We were Delayed, which is understandable, but not sure why we couldn't board and wait for crew to come on to speed up process rather than waiting for crew to arrive to even begin boarding process. I assume it's a safety thing but seems like there could be a better way to handle this and speed up process to make sure people aren't missing connecting flights."

Pros: "When I saw that our BA flight would be operated by AA, I was concerned, given previous poor experiences with American airlines. However, in this case, AA was pretty good, especially the check-in staff at Rome Airport who were excellent. The check-in, boarding and de-boarding processes all went well. Plane was relatively modern, with USB charging ports for phones. Movie selection was good, though the TV selection could be expanded. The food was ok. Seating not bad. All of our luggage, including a child's carseat, was delivered on time and intact. Pleasantly surprised."

Ended up using Sani-wipes and had no coffee - seemed ok for a relatively short flight and half full plane. 90 minutes to make the decision to just go on resulting in many rescheduled flights."

Cons: "Unrelated to the flight- but immigration and customs in Grand Cayman was slow. 200+ people arrived on this plane and there ware 4 immigration agents although they had more stations. We spent about a half hour in line in each- immigration and then customs. Rental cars is another situation to be aware of regarding insurance."

Boarding was the usual inefficient zone 1, zone 2, family’s with children and the disabled, zone ad nauseam. There was no food inspite of the boarding agents telling us part of the delay was for provisioning. It was late and they left us on the tarmac for close to an hour before take off. The one thing that could have made the situation better was them telling us when we were going to take off and then taking off within 15 minutes of that time.

Seats were uncomfortable. Otherwise a good flight overall.

For my next trip, I would rather pick another airline and transfer airport."

Unknown to me I could not find the flight because it had been changed to an AC reference flight. With a very short time for the connection I did not know where to get my boarding pass as my flight with Lufthansa was nowhere referred to ! Not which gate to go . Why not put it in the ticket that Lufthansa and Air Canada work together and that both flights ref should show !! It would avoid a great deal of anxiety . Only offered 1 round if hot drinks over 9 hours ! Departure delayed by nearly 60 minutes"

Worst experience traveling by far. Also lost over a day of my expensive trip that I've been waiting to go on for awhile and saved my money for a year. I lost hundreds of dollars in events and hotels. Avoid Air Canada if possible"

Our party of four had our luggage spread through THREE different planes. WTH? No customer service at DTW once we arrived and there were so many livid people. Absolutely awful. We were supposed to arrive at 5PM and it's now 3:11AM. My son just completed filing a luggage claim loss. And we are off to drive home to Grand Rapids two hours away. Nightmare."

Cons: "THe previous flight that we took, on June 20th, from Las Vegas to Toronto, was cancelled at the last minute. As we had a tightly-scheduled flight to Amsterdam, we missed that connection. There was no notification given prior to the cancellation, just suddenly came up on the monitors at McCarren Airport. No explanation was offered. THe flight that we were transferred to arrived in Toronto too late to get us onto our Amsterdam flight, and so Air Canada personnel gave us vouchers for food and tried to book us a hotel room. We were ferried to 3 hotels, and turned away at all of them, an dwound up sleeping on the flor of the kid's area at TOranto Airport. we finally got to Amsterdam a day late.and had our trip upgraded to business class for our trouble. I have no quarrel with the treatment that we received from Air Canada personel. THey were very patient and gracious, in spite of a number of irate passengers in the same situation that we were in. However, the failure to have accomodations for stranded travelers was exemplary of poor planning on the part of administration, not personnel. I am really torn as to whether or not to use Air Canada again. WHen it is good, it is very good, but when iit is bad, it is the worst that I've ever experienced."

Even though it was a daytime flight, most passengers wanted to sleep due to early morning wake up and previous connections. Even for somebody who wished to stay awake, there was nothing pleasurable about this situation. The airlines are going to have to figure out how to deal with this ever-increasing problem on long-distance flights, like a closed door quiet space for the parent and child. It was like being trapped in a torture chamber. If an adult had created that much commotion and misery on a flight, they would have been forcefully subdued and probably arrested. A few minutes of a crying baby can be excused, but this was non-stop disturbance by an unruly child and complacent parent(s)."

Once we landed I had to clear customs in Canada and get to the new flight. It wasn't my fault that their crappy plane wasn't working right wasn't my fault we were delayed but I need to manage my time better I think they fell and bumped their head!!"
Cons: "On the way back from Quebec City to Montreal we were asked to check our carry-ons as luggage, because "there is no room' on the plane. It was an empty flight. ALL overhead compartments were empty. Both flights - Quebec to Montreal and Montreal San Francisco were late. As the result, we have to spend 1.5 hours in the baggage claim area, because "there are no baggage agents in SFO available". THAT WAS THE WHOLE REASON WE ONLY HAD CARRY-ONS! By far, one of the worst flight experience in the last 10 year."

Pros: "We got to our destination safely and on time."
Cons: "No entertainment system. Seriously? No TVs for an international flight?? They should at least tell you that in advance so you can download movies and bring your chargers. We didn't get drink service until about 2 hours into the flight. Terrible. Food was boring and bad. Finally- we had to pay for wine and beer. On a $1000 flight? I have traveled internationally at least 15 times and this was by far the worst flight yet."
Cons: "Waited 1 hour for my bag only to be told that it was put on a different flight. They couldn't tell me this during my flight or while I was waiting? They said it would arrive by morning the next day. I call multiple times to get an update and no one has an update. 6pm rolls around without a single update so tired of calling I drive back to the airport to get a hold of a person. Person says delivery company has it and gives a phone number. Call delivery company and they have no idea what i'm talking about say to go back to the airport. Bag finally shows up 12 hours after expected without a single call or update. Never flying air canada again!"
Pros: "Boarding went smoothly. I liked that I could choose an exit row seat when I checked in and didn't have to pay extra. The crew was friendly. The plane seemed nice and new"
Cons: "The leg room was a bit tight, and the guy behind me kept putting his knees into my back. I don't know if it was poor seat design or what, but he wasn't particularly tall."
Pros: "Relatively comfy economy class seats, great in-flight entertainment, decent food and plenty of beverages served by kind and professional attendants."
Cons: "Only negative was a significant delay."
Pros: "The staff was kind and were willing to help. The air craft was for the most part clean and comfortable with leg space."
Cons: "The windows had some form of oil on it that wasn't cleaned, it was hard to wipe off with a napkin as well."
Cons: "The engine was making an unusually loud whirring sound. Felt concerned that the plane was not fit to fly."
Pros: "nothing It was the worst flight I ever took . Plane was ice cold like a freezer everyone on plane was very uncomfortable. It was 3 hours late after we killed ourselves running through the hellish toronto airport. The us terminal was very hot stuffy and seats were limited as well as food options. the great canadian bakery was not adequate for a 3 hour wait and burnt bagel smell was sickening"

Cons: "At the bwi airport they have to agent u can talk to except u have to wait when they are boarding a flight before u can see someone at the front desk . Lost my bag and even the airport police said it's a normal thing as they get complains every day . Called a million times and they still won't give me detail info. I classify them as the worst airline I've ever used in my 30th ears of travel and if they are the only airline on earth I rather never travel"
Pros: "Friendly and professional staff"
Cons: "Entertainment system is crappy and looks like it's from the 1990's. It needs a serious overhaul. I reserved windows seats and showed up to check and had been placed in the middle."
Cons: "Are you kidding? Nine and a half hours scrunched up in a seat with virtually no leg room? My wife and I are 71 yrs. old, and this was no picnic. (My wife's ankles were all swollen from the ridiculousness of this "arrangement." Seniors should be warned that that flying on such airplanes is not advised.)"
Pros: "Better plane than previous"
Cons: "Had to be rerouted to Calgary because I missed my connection"
Pros: "Tv in all seats, individual air controls, the crew was nice and I offered up my bag to go on the checked bags when asked and it was the first one out on the bagged claim"
Cons: "I'm 5'8 and my legs hardly fit when sitting straight in the seat"
