When I asked to help us get seats together flight attendants told us that I should ask passengers if they could switch seats. Apparently Lufthansa staff doesn’t ask passengers to do it."

I usually board by zones and this time it was more of a everyone got up at the same time and everyone rushed to the front of the lines and some people would push me out of the way to get in front. ( even though we all had assigned seating) Second thing was that I had asked for a wheelchair for my mom and I had seen one waiting outside and was about to walk up to it but another person was limping up to it and put her stuff down on it so I didn't know if it was for my mom or her. I didn't have the heart to go up and make her move if the wheelchair was for my mom so we ended up walking the whole way to customs. I felt bad for my mom afterwards because her knees ended up hurting by the time we got to customs. I would suggest holding up signs of individual names for who the wheelchair is for. Other than that everything was great"

Pros: "I would like to commend the crew on this flight for the way they handled a medical emergency during the flight. I thought that the brew reacted and handled this emergency in a calm, professional and dignified manner. Very little information was conveyed to the passengers aside from what was necessary. I thought that was very dignified and respectful of the circumstance. The flight was diverted from Munich to Vienna, the affected individual was evacuated and the flight was back in the air shortly thereafter. I would like to say Very Well Done to the crew and airline for the training they received and handled the situation."

Cons: "The wait prior to takeoff was a concern. Flight departed one hour late. Scanner at Gate Z13 was malfunctioning. One steward from Frankfurt to Dallas was pre-judging my food choice based on how I look. Normally that would not bother me, but he kept asking if I had ordered a Vegetarian or Hindu meal several times even after I confirmed that I had requested the standard meals for all my journey. The same steward on the Dallas to Frankfurt demonstrated the same questionable behavior. Infants on the flight get very noisy and Lufthansa Staff can help by asking accompanying parents to be prepared prior to take off and landing with warm milk in the baby milk bottles which the children can ingest to equalize ear drum pressure. Unfortunately cabin crew is not using this simple technique and the children on board cry excessively with lot of pain making everyone around them very uncomfortable. This can be nerve wracking for all accompanying Lufthansa passengers near bulkhead rows. Frankfurt Main is too dependent on bus transportation causing passengers to get wet on days when rain occurs."

Pros: "First time in a 747. We flew business class. Seat was a little small but l am bigger than the average person. The food was incredible. Dinner and breakfast were more we ever thought we would get in an flight. The service from our flight attendant was wonderful. I would fly Lufthansa again."

When we arrived late in FRA, the gate attendant was extremely rude while trying to rebook and actually left us in the middle of rebooking because her shift ended. No one came to take her place!! She actually swore at us!! We were only able to rebook by calling the Lufthansa call centre and had to spend a very uncomfortable overnight at the airport without any certainty of when we would fly out. Lufthansa finally got us out on the same flight as booked but 24 hours later. And then, of course, they lost our luggage. Terrible overall experience."

They exuded a joyful atmosphere and seemed like never sat down! This was the third leg of our long trip and they made it so enjoyable.. That is a lot as a passenger is quite tired and possibly irritable by this time. This was an Austrian Airline flight and we were really blown away.. I also give kudos to management for having staff that is so efficient, hardworking and yet so joyful!"

The crew was non-existent most of the flight."

As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Cons: "The cabin on the 777-200 was far too hot (about 25c) and with no individual air vent I found this unbearable on a 12 hour flight. And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell."

This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."

Our next flight from Dallas to Huntsville, AL had the AC on the entire time we were waiting our turn/taking off- the plane was newer and slightly bigger. Pros: "How the pilot flew faster from New Bern to Charlotte because we were 3 hours behind schedule, so I appreciate his effort."
Cons: "Right from the start, customer service was not compassionate in helping out. I was forced to leave my huge luggage behind in order to make it to the next available flight. In addition, American Airlines continued delaying their flight departure times like it was no big deal.. It was stressful for many passengers. This other woman and I had a second plane to get onto, and were worried that we wouldn’t be able to get to the next plane ride because the first plane ride was pushed back like around 10 times or so. This is my first experience with American Airlines, and absolutely do not have a good impression whatsoever. I do not support this airline because it is clear that they do not value their customer’s satisfaction, wellbeing, or schedules."

Cons: "My bags were sent on an earlier flight so they were sitting on a different terminal and I was on a different one. At 9:30 pm in -12 degree Celsius I was waiting for a shuttle to take me to that terminal which was very unnecessary because it’s their responsibility to give me my bag at the right terminal."

Pros: "The flight was so short we did not even get a snack, only an offer of a bottle of water; this was simply due to to short length of the flight. Basic economy had my wife and I 16 rows apart each in a middle seat. I was in the very last seat on the plane. Flight attendants were attentive and surprisingly very nice, legroom is non-existent (same as every flight in plain coach)."

Pros: "Was a little slow in starting leaving too little time to drink my coffee and I was one of the first to be served."

Cons: "Lost connection because previous flight was too late , had long wait. The space in the seat on the plane were quite small and the plan looked old, or not updated. It didn't have individual screen monitor for entertainment , which I think nowadays is expected; especially for a coast to coast flight."

Cons: "Seats were very uncomfortable, crew impolite, the leck of self seat arrangement turned into a problem once people bordered, almost everybody was trying to change their seats... I was asked by a crew member if I would mind changing seats (the one i’ve paid to be on) so a family could stay together. If free seats assignment were available at the moment of purchase, people could solve their own problems then..."

Cons: "Nothing the airlines caused. I would however like to know if the plane will have screens and plugs on the plane before hand. Our flight coming had it and our flight home didn't and my phone was dead :-("

Cons: "Due to mechanical issues our 8am flight kept getting delayed in 30 minute increments until around 9:45 when the front desk attendants told us the necessary part had to be driven from Seattle and wouldn't be available until noon, and that their was no certainty the part would work, and that we should make other arrangements. So we did, but their earliest we could get us into Chicago was 9:30pm (original arrival was 2pm). We booked the arrangements only to find out that our original flight took off at 10:55 and American didn't even attempt to contact us. The cherry on top was that our flight (which was indirect through SFO) got delayed and we're now going to miss our connection in SFO. So currently looking at 10:30pm arrival in Chicago."

Pros: "Flew United out of Sioux Falls. Check in took forever. United employees were miserable. Did get some help from a very nice TSA woman. TSA check in was a nightmare. Almost missed flight. Complete chaos. The sat on runway for 40 minutes waging for luggage to be loaded. Almost missed connecting flight. Just plane horrible. Very helpful stewardess however."

Cons: "We were delayed coming out bc the plane needed de-icing... IN JACKSONVILLE, but they were unable to get manager approval for de-icing and then the truck was out of fuel. Finally, the pilot moved the plane into the sun (which should have happened much sooner). During the flight, the cabin temperature dropped to low 60s and everyone was freezing."

Cons: "Plane had very little luggage space. I'm explorer card holder boarding should be priority I was in group 2. Food was not of good quality hence lot of people left it. 3. Sets were too narrow."

Pros: "14 hour flight. The legroom in economy seating on UA 82 is an absolute joke if you are 5 feet 6 inches or taller. I am 5' 11" Charging $200 premium for economy plus which on united is a few more inches of legroom unlike other carriers where it's a step closer to business class."

After boarding flight crew passed out water while we waited on the tarmac for hours while a maintenance issue was reviewed. Safety protocols that had a engine issue looked at on the ground prior to putting us in the air. Curry chicken was good."
Cons: "Several issues that caused this flight to be late. Part of the issue was the plane was not available to be in the gate on time. The longest delay was on the tarmac for over 2 hours as an engine was analyzed. Does this suggest need for more regular maintenance? I don't know. Given the delays I think United could have done more in recognition of the delay to its customers on the flight such as not charging for some of the services they normally charge for like wifi access and such. As it was I was delayed on both legs of my trip by a minimum of an hour. United should do better."

And they ran out of meal options even though I indicated them at the time of booking. - Not so clean - Sickness bags were used ones and had something in them. Clearly, they were not replaced. Toilets didn't have basic supplies like moisturizers. Not to mention they were super cramped. - Entertainment system was out of 60s. Small LCD and were of the smallest resolution and viewing angles - made watching anything akin to watching those cam rips floating all over internet. - Cramped leg room. And the premium seat didn't have any better room. Overall, one of the poorest flights I have ever flown on. Even Air India has much better planes and service."
