Pros: "The seat was comfy, even though the flight was delayed in takeoff by 45 min. It was nice to hear from the captain. It makes you feel more like you're having a good experience."
Cons: "Delays happen. But snacks offered during a delay known to be longer than 30 min would've made many passengers happier. It's hard to stay happy when other people around you are complaining."

Cons: "Airline change time, airport, and seat asigment of our reservation. It was only thru several calls to their reservation and talked to a supervisor was I able to straight out the big mess. This has happened before with this airline when are reservation are done months in advance. I doubt we will fly American Airlines Again."

Cons: "Our flight attendant didn’t know what food we were getting. When someone asked in front of me, she said “I’m not sure it could be either turkey or ham”. If you serve customers from all walks of life including Hindus, vegetarians, Islam, Judaism, it should be expected that the flight attendant know if that is turkey or ham. Another thing is that there was no final check by the flight attendant. We landed with tray tables down, seats recline, and people were still on their laptops."

Cons: "No seat back entertainment. 45 mins flight from San Antonio to Dallas had seatback entertainment. But 2hr flight from Dallas to Cozumel had no seatback entertainment. Go figure."

Cons: "I had a connecting flight in DFW to BOS. My plane left late from OKC, giving very little time to get to my connecting flight in DFW. The flight arrived in BOS and I got to the gate at 6:15pm; with a flight departure of 6:25pm. I felt the gate agent handled the situation very poorly. Instead of letting me, and another passenger with the same situation as mine, let us know why the gate was closed 10 minutes prior to departure was rude and brusque and said sorry, nothing could be done. A simple explanation of why we couldn't board would have gone a long way. She finally barked out for us to go to Customer Service to re-route us. Customer Service was very slow and the agents had attitudes. I did get on an AA flight the next morning, including comp vouchers for dinner and breakfast, but I missed an entire day of the conference I was attending in Boston."

Cons: "Boarding was confusing. By the time groups 5&6 boarded the first groups had not finished and there were no longer any lines to control the crowd, just people trying to get on board to assure overhead cabin space."

Pros: "The crew was decent.....better on the London to Raleigh flight, the crew on the Raleigh to London flight were not very nice at ALL."
Cons: "I did not like that the ticket I purchased was a British Airways flight, but it was operated by American Airlines. The plane was SO outdated....it didn't even have personal screens. And the movies they played were old. I mean the Devil Wears Prada...COME ON!!!!! Also, the food on the way to London was extremely disappointing. I had chose the pasta with vegetables, and it was macaroni and cheese with broccoli. And not good macaroni, but more like the kind you make for your kids."

Cons: "No snack or real food on a 5.5 hour flight? Not cool! I get cutbacks but that's a long flight over mealtime. My headphone jack didn't work well so I had to hold it in place the entire time so it wouldn't be fuzzy noise."

Cons: "The boarding process was a nightmare there were 4 flights boarding at the same time from gate 57-61. People were coming in line from every direction and it took forever to walk a few feet to get my boarding pass scanned. Then about 1hr into flight it's was freezing in the front of the plane, I was in row 5 and the only solution given to several of those who inquired about it was to "take a walk to the back, it's warmer back there". We were dressed for the winter up front and people in the back were comfortable. It was ridiculous. Mind you this was a tiny plane 1 seat on the right and 2 on the left so not a lot of room to stand and move around."

Cons: "Flight attendants need some lessons in customer service. My job is also in customer service, so when something irks me, I feel like it is legitimate. Had a cup of ice water that I was sipping during the last half of the flight and ate one of my own granola bars. Was planning to give all my trash to her as soon as I was finished with everything, I didn't feel like this was unreasonable. Attendant stopped at our row with her usual "Trash? Trash?" I did not motion that I had trash, but I guess she thought I should be finished, because she made it a point to call me out and say "Excuse me, you don't have any trash?" I replied that yes, I have a granola bar wrapper but was planning to give all of that all together but she was welcome to take it now, and I handed it to her. She then said "And what about your cup?" I stated I wasn't finished with it, and motioned that it still had ice and water left inside. She then proceeded to roll her eyes at me, and without response moved to the next row with her "Trash? Trash?" The next time she came back down the rows, she actually had the audacity to skip my side of the row - did not even look my way - and I had to get her attention and hand her my trash over the back of my chair. Again, no response, and more rolled eyes. Don't be a flight attendant if you don't want to deal with people and the possibility that people aren't going to act exactly the way you want them to act. Be respectful."

Cons: "aborted takeoff due to mechanical problem, a bit scary but crew opted for safety and we changed to another plane;thus, long delay but unavoidable."

Cons: "I went on this trip as an veterinary humanitarian out reach. I was also guardian to one high school student so that she might have an experience of such to guild her future. Her flight was missed booked to leave after mine, I attempted to rebook my flight with Luthansia but they would not let me me even partial rebook. I attempted a number of times to rebook the flight but their solution was extreme financial gain for them when more reasonable alternative could have been arranged. They canceled my entire return flight and left me stranded. I had to piece together a return flight on a shoe string budget. Thankfully American Airlines was understanding for it appears Luthansia and United are not."

Cons: "Until bathrooms and crew area. One of the flight attendants was not friendly at all and my sit did not lay back."

Cons: "The only complaint is to have to pay for the TV. I feel it should be part of the service. On the way going to Punta Cana the flight attendant gave it to us for free and that was very nice as it made the trip seem to go by faster. Other then that everything was wonderful."

Cons: "We had to wait 4 hours to board our flight. The plane was late, then they had to replace the whole navigation system. Then at the last minute told us to go to another gate and when we got there we were told to go back to the original gate. Getting another plane from the get go would have eliminated a lot of the hassle we all experienced."
