I stayed at Marriott Airport the night before departure. I walked over to airport to check out the process for my ticket type which was seating assignment at the gate. Agent clued me in that the earlier I checked in the next morning, the better. And sure enough, I was first in line to check in and received a great seat assignment as if I'd paid full dollar! I really appreciated the subtle tip as I do not enjoy sitting at the back of the plane. Thank you to that helpful agent.

I would not purchase any food on these flights because they are expensive. It is best to bring your own snacks if you want to save money. Download movies onto your phone or tablet, don’t pay for their expensive WiFi! Check in on the airline’s app 24 hours prior so that all you have to do is print your luggage tags. Add your boarding passes to your phone. No more paper boarding passes which is more convenient.

Bring sleeping pills. Tylenol PM or Benadryl. That one with your meal. Fall asleep in 30 mins. Wear a warm jacket and you will sleep most of your flight and wake up refreshed.. There are little "wings" on the seat headrest you can pull forward to keep your head upright for a good sleep. Put your phone on low power mode for the flight. too.

Expect the terminal in Monterey to be slightly cramped because it is a small airport. It is best to check in ahead of time on the airline’s app so that when you arrive, you can go straight to the kiosk and print your luggage tags to avoid waiting in line. They will call your name once your tags have printed. So much easier and convenient!

My advise is to pack lightly to avoid paying for the cost of one bag in the amount of 35 dollars. The amount isn't the worst I've paid, for my traveling bag but so many individuals used the overhead luggage rack as well as a back pack that didn't pay for transporting a large suitcase that I intend to do the same in the future.

Since I flew First Class I really have no advice! Everything was perfect! The ticketing agents were fantastic, flew through TSA Precheck, great announcements at the gate, quick boarding. My only suggestion is to check First Class prices before committing to the very expensive baggage fees and choosing a seat fee!!!

LAX on Christmas Eve around 9am was a breeze. No passengers were in line to print bag tags, bag drop, or security. Made it through from entry to the concourse (for American Airlines) in under 12 minutes. Boarding process at gate 159 used turnstiles, which I prefer.

LaGuardia is the most convenient/fastest from Midtown Manhattan. If taking a taxi, check the map ahead of time to spot traffic delays — taxi drivers aren’t going to do that and you can direct them to alternate routes to avoid a traffic jam.

United delayed my luggage twice on flight to Europe (first flight was for an important event) I carry 2 days of clothes in my backpack no matter who I'm flying with United especially so. No less than 2 hour layover to decrease possibility of loss/delay of luggage. Second EU trip my luggage was left in Germany even though my layover was just over 1 hour. Select layovers of 2+ hours although Unite will sell flights with 40 minutes layover (nonsense). 1 hour layover was not enough to transfer luggage in FRA. The last scan was 30 minutes after the flight left (SMH).

Airlines with best boarding, comfort, baggage policies: American, United & Delta. Airlines with best schedule to/from Miami: American & Delta (but definitely can improve this). Most convenient airports: Getting on/off -Miami and any major US Airport with multiple lanes to go in and out (definitely not Atlanta as everyone is arriving & leaving go thru ONLY one entrance filled with parking lot style traffic) and I say this because I have lived in both cities (many years in Miami and now 2 years in Atlanta but travel a lot from here). Atlanta has only 2 entrances: either Delta (south side) or any other airline (north side). Either way you go, you will have bumper to bumper traffic just to go in. Also, don't get me started with their parking lots - what a horrendous experience to park and worse when you leave! No signs in the North side (and barely any in South side) to indicate the exit.

Check the exit row seats! On my plane one seat on each side had a seat with no seat in front of it for easier emergency exiting, giving that person a huge amount of leg room. The downside is that the seat sides are solid with tray tables in the armrest, so there’s no “overflowing” into the adjacent seat. For the tall, fit gentleman next to me it was a score.

Oakland is a nice small airport. Getting through security was a breeze with TSA precheck. We did have to stand in line for about 20minutes to drop bags as there were no agents at the counter. I had the most delicious crispy Al pastore taco near face 14

The boarding was good but the line for check-in is pushed off to the side because of the recent construction. It’s fine but cramped as people jostle to get checked in. Also, we weren’t able to use our online check in and printed boarding pass so we had to basically check in twice.

Wish I had known the seats were so uncomfortable. Wish I had known checked bags and carry on bags were 75 each. Wish I didn't have to wait so long in line with only one clerk working. The Bozeman Airport has NO seating for spreading out. All the seats are simple chairs with armrests. If you have a delay or are trying to sleep while waiting, you will have to sit upright the whole time. There are also very few outlets. Great flight but super high price. Glad it was a business trip and not personal

On time. Friendly staff. Took to long to pre bord all the specialty groups. Cramped small plane

The seats were comfortable, and the boarding process was pretty smooth.

3 hour delay. Had to change plans and was still delayed.

The staff was very friendly, professional, and courteous. The overall flight was a great experience.

The crew canceled the complementary snack and drink in anticipation of turbulence that never materialized. I was counting on the drink (water) to take the the doses of medication - prescribed for my heart condition - that were due during the flight. Since no snack or meal was served on this flight, I cannot rate the food quality. Otherwise, this flight was excellent.

Departure was delayed more than 1/2 hour while we waited for luggage (only) transfer from another flight/plane. Once approved for takeoff, the flight was excellent.

We got exit row seats both flights. Everything was running on time

The flight crew was extremely rude and especially not helpful when our flight was delayed.

Pretty seamless, just a tad bit late in taking off and landing.

There was no wifi available on this flight. And there were no screens, no onboard entertainment, no entertainment options at all. It was like travelling in the 1990s again, except without even a main screen for options. Seats, as usual, were tight and uncomfortable.

Good seat comfort ORF to ATL. Bad seat ATL to SEA (terrible lumbar support, hard, ouch)..

Because I was moved to an exit row, the snacks in economy comfort, the selection of snacks was better.

I upgraded to first. Quick and easy boarding. Comfortable seat with power and a nice IPA.

Probably not the fault of Delta but there was delay after delay after delay and I ended up getting home 4 hours later then I should have at 1:30 in the morning

Easiest airport experience ever in my life at MSP with Delta check-in and flight attendant gave us a bottle of champagne in celebration of our 10-year wedding anniversary, so overall amazing!

No in flight service, no explanation - FC got service, C+ did not, unsure about Economy. No turbulence to speak of, so I guess another way to cut cost, or promote health and well being of Delta employees? Also, boarding in MEM combined zones, and with overhead space already full on both flights after Zone 2/ Diamond, presents a huge challenge to find a space for a bag. Delta, other than point A to B, is no longer reasonable to fly - very poor experiences, not even taking into account the chastising at the gate and rude crews, across the board.

It would have been better if the flight wasn't delayed by 2.5 hours

Delta’s staff is unmatched. From the gate agents, to the pilots, to the flight attendants… all top of the industry.

Delta flight Delay for ,more that two hours i.e original flight was 6.30 PM and it starts at 8.45 PM, When we connect Delta team for meal vouchers as it is late arrival in designation,But we did not get it as per delta policy , which is not good for mid night arrival,

Very good. Because of the delays with my previous flight, I missed my connection, but I was able to book another flight through the United app easily.

I wish there were outlets to charge my iPhone. The crew was great; we had a female pilot who was great with explaining what was happening and delays,

The flight crew where really good. Better then the crew from BNE to SFO

Food should be changed in menu Many muslims travels in this airlime they need to add one Halal meal

Delayed, toilets did not flush, pilot parked to far away from Gate

Was happy we finally got upgraded in 1st class. The seat getting old. The cushiness need some improvement.

Yet another flight in which beverage and snack service was skipped. Other that that, firmly mediocre. Landed early, to gate late due to congestion at the gates. Airline's fault or airports fault: unknown.

Ineffective communication with United resulted in lost baggage. Their Baggage Tracing counter at MUC was shut down from 11:00-14:15 on my arrival. Undertrained, underinformed staff had me Running all over MUC to find someone to help me to no avail. Staff was rude, unhelpful, and unable to effectively use the systems they did have operational. They refused to contact United in any way or provide any accommodation or other resources while I waited for my luggage. This has destroyed my downstream itinerary. If they had even the slightest visibility I may have been able to reschedule/plan, but again, their staff provided nothing, and did nothing more than their website, which doesn’t even work on a standard phone browser. Miserable failure at all levels that weren’t associated with the operation of the aircraft.

Miserable. They moved my seat, but canceled the next leg of my flight. I resolved the issue at my transfer, but that resulted in lost luggage that has taken days off my schedule with no resolution. Worse, they fail to interface effectively with Lufthansa, forcing me to bounce between two equally useless help desks. The apps are unable to handle the situation, the bag dropped off the tracker, and while the call centers are polite, they do not provide written information to assist with cross-airline communication.

left on time, reasonable boarding process arrived early luggage came out quickly

Could we please end the loud announcements about credit card offers on your flights? We are trying to sleep, work, watch videos, etc. and if we need a credit card, we will ask for one. Flying is already not what it used to be.

I would like the crew to talk LESS over the PA and specifically about credit card offers. I am trying to work, sleep, watch a movie and the PA was booming about a credit card offer. Could we go back to the days when the customer was more important than selling a credit card?

Enough space, crew was helpful, food was good. The gates are way far especially for travelers with health issues

No enough space plus only allowing one laggage instead of two like other airlines.

There were no TV screens - even in Business class. 5 delays, and only given $12 meal voucher! Terrible!

It was good. But the gate team made me check my carry on when there was plenty of space for my luggage on the plane. Otherwise our trip was fine.

The entertainment options were at best, fair. It was exactly the same as my outbound flight. It would have been more entertaining if there were some series from Apple TV, HBO, Showtime or other carriers for me to catch up with.

Concern Regarding Significant Gate Delay and Jet Bridge Issue Dear Customer Relations Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I had on my recent flight AA 2414 on Sunday January 18, 2026. What should have been a routine departure turned into a frustrating and avoidable delay due to an issue with the jet bridge at the gate. As a result, the flight was delayed by approximately 90 minutes while multiple gate changes were attempted. The lack of clear communication during this period made the situation even more challenging. Passengers were left uncertain about the cause of the delay, the expected timeline, and the next steps. This not only disrupted travel plans but also created unnecessary stress for everyone on board. I understand that operational issues can arise, but a malfunctioning jet bridge and the resulting extended delay suggest an area where procedures or equipment maintenance may need attention. I hope you will review this incident to prevent similar disruptions in the future. I would appreciate acknowledgment of this concern and consideration of appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and lost time caused by this delay. Thank you for taking the time to review my experience. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Dion Dillard

They made me pay $40 to check a bag that was listed as free when I bought my ticket. Then before boarding they offered to check any bags free.

It was a good trip. Flight Attendants were friendly and responsive.

Good for a budget airline! It was easy to get on, staff was really nice. Can’t say anything about the food or entertainment because it wasn’t available, which is fine.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent Frontier Airlines flight. I was charged $99 at the gate because my bag was said to be too large, yet once onboard there was no available overhead bin space, and I was required to place the bag under the seat in front of me anyway. This made the charge feel unnecessary and unfair. Additionally, before the flight even took off, I was asked to move from the seat I paid for into a middle seat so another passenger and her cat could have my seat to themselves. I was not offered compensation or an explanation for being moved from a paid seat. Between the unexpected bag fee and being forced to give up my seat, this experience fell well below acceptable customer service standards. I would appreciate a review of this situation and appropriate compensation.

It was costly and difficult to check in. $85 to take a small suitcase with me, carry on or checked and $75 on the return trip, Plus $25 if I didn't check my self in check in $25, because I couldn't do it on the kiosk. Small very uncomfortable seats, waited on the runway for near an hour each way. It was my worst flight to date.

It was ok. It was expensive to check 2 bags ($75.00 per bag), and then it took a long time to wait for shuttle to take us from one terminal to the terminal where the plane was taking off at LAX. And all of this for a flight where we had to pay for any food or drink that was not water.

It didn’t happen. I booked it and then was told it wasn’t available and then forced to pay far higher prices for a worse option

A 630departure flight Delayed 6hours! They changed my gate, I moved to the new gate. Had our flight on the screen for 12noon departure. I go get above to eat, check screen again and the flight was gone, no notice no announcement, nothing!! They sent my bag on the flight I wasn’t on, got it back to me 3days later. Thank goodness they did refund my money but I will NEVER fly them again.

Due to weather, my flight was delayed, further delayed, then canceled. I eventually got through to a support person who helped me find a different route out of MSP, but to get to DIA, they didn't want to, but eventually did help with the connection ticket purchase. But even this replacement flight was delayed time and time again, and I would have missed my connecting flights and I didn't want to get stuck in a layover city, so after 12 hours at the airport with two young boys who were very tired, we just cancelled our plans and spent the week at home, instead of Nana's.

Plane and crew on board were fine. Everything else was terrible.

The third party booking with cheapflightsfares was awful. Kayak should NOT partner with them. They sold me a bundle including seat selection and carry-on, but did not book the carry-ons with Frontier, so I’m out of pocket for $414 more while I await resolution.

This company socks. It's fraud. They canceled our flight yesterday, and today we were late because of a really long line at the check in bag. At the rebook station, there was ton of people. The workers were all rude. I am gonna make a report to FTC.
