After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Traveling by air in India in economy class is like traveling in a greyhound bus. If you are from the US and 30+ year old avoid the Economy class."

Cons: "Three things : 1) The crew seemed to be relatively inexperienced and just out of college. I observed a couple of informal communication exchanges from their part. But the crew were helpful and tried their best to provide the best customer experience. 2) The boarding process normally starts with business and premium class and then followed by economy. For my flight however the economy class was boarded first while the business class passengers were kept stranded waiting in a separate line. This also reflected the inexperience of the crew which handled the boarding. 3) Vistara was my connecting flight from Pune to Delhi followed by British airways flight from Delhi to London. Though the flights were booked under one ticket, the representative did not checkin my luggage throughout the journey due to which I had to collect my baggage at Delhi and check it in again. The representative explained that vistara still didn't have alliances with most airlines allowing luggage to be checked in till final destination. This is another front on which they can improve."

He was rude, refused to call the manager and I had to pay another 400 rupees in cash. I want KIWI or you to refund my baggage fee paid by my credit card or I will take up the case with my credit card company, I will not recommend any one to do business with both KIWI.com and Spicejet.."

In Delhi, 80 minutes at the desk before boarding passes. They suggested we didn't have return tickets, and kept asking for more information. And this was at business class desk! Finally took 4 of them at the desk to take care of it, and then we were so late couldn't get seats we wanted. Unbelievably bad! Beware!"
Pros: "The food was decent, and the crew was nice. I also appreciate that many of the passengers were nice Nd helpful since I didn't have an Indian phone to let my host know about the delay"
Cons: "The flight was three hours and a half late, and there was given no explanation. They didn't let us know that it was late until we realized we weren't boarding, they didn't offer us anything while we were waiting at the airport for 4 hours, and personally I was so tired because I had to wake up at 3 am to get there by 4:30 and take the 6:50 am plane. If they had sent an email earlier people could have spent the night sleeping instead."

Cons: "The entertainment system was not working at my seat. Passenger in front of me also had issues with the entertainment system. Specifically the audio port had issues. Crew member suggested I shift to another seat where he said it was working. At that seat the video was not working. On being informed of the same he asked me to shift again. I didn't trust the crew and gave up. Being a long distance flight, working in flight entertainment is a necessary element. The second seat had issue while tilting back. It tilted back almost flat( broken )."
Pros: "My seat back was broken and didn't recline for a 14 hr overnight flight. The plane was seriously oversold-- people were sitting in the flight attendants' folding "jump" seats. The entertainment system for half the plane was frozen (my seat included. And though the crew offered a complaint card, it was never brought to our seat. We'll never fly Air India again."

Cons: "The ground handling staff at both ends London and Delhi totally inefficient not customer friendly. Specially the lady at LHR was rude un friendly and took over 45minutes to check-in."

Pros: "It was a non-stop flight which was very convenient. Lots of inflight movies to choose from. We were never hungry because we were served several meals. However not all the meals were very good."

Pros: "I was surprised at how comfy the seats were considering their proximity to one another. The food was also another pleasant experience. . .we received 2 full meals and a light lunch. The former 2 were delicious and tasted homemade. The service left a bit to be desired but was still significantly better than I had heard/read.Though the crew didn't go beyond their basic tasks and never responded to the "call button", they were personable and carried out their responsibilities sufficiently enough."
Cons: "2 combined flights were a total of 6 hrs. Kathmandhu to Delhi was 3 .5 hrs late. 2 hrs late from Delhi to Ahmedabad. Unfriendly staff."
Pros: "This was a long haul flight on a newly introduced direct flight SFO-DEL. Unusually for such a flight, it turned out to be pretty comfortable - the seating had more legroom than expected, cabin crew were friendly and attentive, and the cabin was clean. I never thought I'd say this but I might fly this again !!"

Cons: "I left NYC (JFK in New York) and arrived in KTM (Kathmandu, Nepal) via a transit through New Delhi. In New Delhi, I spoke to 2 agents and they both confirmed my luggage would be on the flight and I can pick up my bags in KTM. My luggage was supposed to arrive in KTM yesterday at 12:10pm. Nothing showed up at the airport. As of now, the time is 3:10pm the NEXT day and I still haven't received my luggage! What's worse is the airline hasn't contacted me yet!! I've tried calling them a million times but they just won't pick the phone up! All my necessities and clothing are in the bags - And it's freezing here. Avoid AIR INDIA! Was told by many that this is a common issue with flights that take a transit via DEL where bags go missing or arrive a few days after with items stolen from within the baggages! Can someone in Air India please contact me? I can't get anyone on the phone in New York, Delhi or Kathmandu offices!!! This is ridiculous!"
