Cons: "on tarmac 1-1/2 hours conflicting info....went from delay due to traffic/weather, to extended flight time due to reroute, to asking 10 people to volunteer to get off or 10 would be chosen to have to get off, 4 people volunteered, was holding my breath to be “picked off” when the 4 people were let back on and we took off an hour late. the flight steward spoke so unreasonably fast you couldn’t understand a word she said and she had an overall bad attitude....very disappointing from United"

Pros: "I got super lucky and had three seats to myself, it's a long flight just over 12hrs and good sleep is precious. The entertainment options were excellent and I watched some great first run movies. Food was quite good with options, beverage service standard. Restrooms were readily accessible and "clean.""
Cons: "We left SFO an hour late waiting for a handful of late passengers - good for them though, eh? The rest of the passengers on plane were packed in like sardines. Seemed to me that too much space on plane dedicated to the premium 'cabins' for the uber rich, but they were interesting to look at."

Cons: "I was notified when there was going to be a delay, but not notified when my flight was cancelled due to the airline not having a crew. Really? No crew? Gave my mother a voucher for a motel stay, but failed to notify her that there would be no shuttle that comes to the airport after 10pm. She is not great with technology and was stranded at the airport until her re-scheduled flight 12 hours later"

Cons: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."

We ad to sleep on the floor of the airport in CO because we could not get a flight for that night. We missed an important Military graduation that is once in a Lifetime Experience. Your lack of customer service is appalling and I hope That I never have to experience that again."

Cons: "DELAYS. I had 4 flights within a weekend all with United and EVERY flight was delayed. The plane also heading to Newark ahead of us was overbooked and some people were pushed onto our plane, not a big deal if all can fit on the plane...but we wouldn't have if it wasn't for the delay causing those flying to Boston to miss their flights. Frustrating and adds an element of concern when faced with delays when the weather is fine. The internet on the plane is also confusing to use...should be clearer. Mistakenly booked my flight before realizing the new carry on policy, so trying to pack everything into a tiny bag to meet requirements was frustrating... definitely don't think I will be booking United again."

Cons: "Because I was voluntarily "bumped" at the ticket counter instead of at the gate, I was not offered any compensation. Seems odd that I would have to be put through the rush/hassle of going to the gate to be compensated for doing this favor for United."

Pros: "Liked the new model for entertainment. Had WiFi you can use to watch movies/TV on your laptop/iPad. Also read email, do work. Very good flight crew on this flight. Worked at keeping us fed and watered! Long flight and full plane so they were busy. Crew in the Frankfurt airport were very good as well. There early and pre checked us in. Very good people skills for this group."

Cons: "Were held up by TSA in San Francisco because we were not given receipt for our dog who traveled with us. (We had a 2 hour layover in SF and took dog outside the security area for relief). Then the ticket counter in SF was understaffed and it took a long time to get the receipt printed (Once at the counter the agent was very helpful, efficient and quick). Should have a pet area inside the security of airports, like Palm Springs does."

So either way we were going to have a longer day and extra leg.....which I only paid for ONE plane change. After running to the gate because my first flight was late taking off, this flight was delayed due to engine issues. The agent had us standing in line for 1 1/2 hours while she tried to figure out what was going on. So instead of taking off at 5:40 pm, we took off at 9 pm and still had to catch a bus from Boston to Providence...HORRIBLE Flight = Long Day/Night"
