Cons: "It wasn’t temperature balanced. Cold then hot hot."
Cons: "The greed of the airlines is on full display. There was a time in the 1960's when flying was a special experience. That is all gone now. Flight attendants cold, and almost hostile."
Cons: "Bigger seats. More room."
Cons: "I was annoyed when I was told I would have to check my carry on because there was no more room in the overhead compartments. Then as I was walking down the aisle to get to my seat I saw a lot of room in the overheads."
Pros: "I flew business so it made a difference in the overall experience. Crew was pleasant and served beverages as soon as I boarded. Also, received a pillow and blanket as it was chilly on the plane."
Cons: "No complaints, everything was perfect. It's worth it to spend the extra cash and fly business."
Pros: "The crew skipped me for breakfast and i had to ask for food."
Cons: "The food was not very good. Bread rolls stale and inedible. The rest of the flight was good."
Cons: "The staff at the Seattle airport were very rude. The AAInflight wifi doesn't work at all. The Starbucks at Seattle had horrible service. I ordered a grande frappuchino and the cashier said it was a grande. When I got it it was a venti and I got charged extra and the woman who gave it to me was very very rude and sounded bored. She had blue hair. There was a woman who worked there who should be fired you couldn't understand a word she said and got the orders wrong."
Pros: "Smoothest flight ever and crew was perfect. Thanks!"
Pros: "People were friendly"
Cons: "Broke arm off wheelchair"
Pros: "Puntual, connexion gates very closed,"
Cons: "I need to paid 100$ or more to have a seat"
Pros: "After all the delays, made an an 8 hour trip 2 minutes early."
Cons: "Crowded planes Waiting on the Tarmac LOCATION OF THE CONNECTIONS and the gates. Construction in the Airport ( s) Philadelphia is a MESS. Overhead stowage.( Does anyone check a bag?)"
Pros: "Only one screaming kid. I was allowed to move to another seat"
Cons: "Food was good. Crew nice"
Cons: "The flight and the entire process with American was just fine. What bothered me most was the rude treatment from security staff in Philadelphia. Compared to security staff overseas, the U.S. rates the lowest of the 55+ countries I've visited. It does not reflect badly on American Airlines, but it does give travelers a bad lasting impression. As an American, I'm embarrassed by their behavior."
Pros: "When the plane finally arrived everything went smoothly"
Cons: "Our flight was delayed at least 5x. We started getting delays around 1pm but our flight wasn’t scheduled to leave until 7pm. We were on a connecting flight so it was no chance of making the second leg of our flight. I used an AA discount to get a room in Charlotte but we didn’t get to the airport until almost 2am so I had called to cancel that hour before making it to Charlotte but was told I may still be charged for the room even tho at this point it was outta my control. It would be great if the airline took care of giving you shelter when you are stuck in limbo with no reason behind while you are stuck. American is a good airline but they seriously dropped the ball this trip."
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "Delayed flight all day long from 11:58 AM till 8:00 PM, where they blamed it on traffic at RDU airport, weather in Chicago, and finally a maintenance delay for from 2:00 PM till 8 PM before they canceled!"
Pros: "The crew made up for almost of the terrible things about the flight."
Cons: "The outdated plane had no plug in capability. No Gogo or individual in flight entertainment. The food was most inedible, the vegetarian snack was a hard baguette with old sliced tomatoes and wilted lettuce. I couldn’t eat most of what was served because it was so terrible."
Pros: "Movie choices"
Cons: "Food"
Pros: "I had a great experience on my flight and the staff could NOT have done a better job. I want to thank everyone from the boarding gate to the deboarding gate, for such a nice experience. But listen up Americans, the entertainment would’ve been better, if one: the internet was free like it was in MEXICO! And two: the sound worked for the movies. (That might’ve been my fault... or my phone’s fault). But, the free texting was something only available in a country to which Donald Trump (the most patriotic American in his whole wide mind) thinks is so inferior! What’s up America? Can’t afford to give us free WiFi in our planes? I hear ya... What’re you gonna do Trump, build a wall around the United State’s overpriced internet service?!? Just kidding folks! I had a great flight!"
Cons: "I didn’t like nothing! Haha... see that just sounds cool and negative to say... but if you want to get technical and check my syntax and grammar and stuff, that means I DID like EVERYTHING! And I did! Thanks American I appreciate you!"
Pros: "The professionalism from the entire crew. Very smooth flight. The in-flight meal was very good ."
Cons: "Even dow we were late departing Santiago Chile, we made it to Dallas in good time."
Pros: "Really like how smooth and easy was to aboard my plane."
Cons: "Messed up college for your mismanagement."
Pros: "Everything. I bought some souvenir magnets from the shop across from Starbucks near Gate C5(?). The gentleman working the register was very pleasant and was a welcome personality so early in the day. As a service member, I would like to thank him for his service. He was consistent in asking patrons whether they’d like to purchase a travel kit for the troops. A few patrons were abrupt and responded rudely but he maintained a level head and pressed on. Great attitude and professionalism. Thank you very much for your support! Also, I was able to get my Military discount applied towards my purchase which enabled me to purchase 1 travel kits for my fellow service members. A little goes a long way and when returning from deployments or coming home for R&R, it tends to be hectic and I, myself have often forgotten toiletries which I was able to get from the USO. The USO staff were also friendly and did an amazing job handling all of the personnel that funneled in, exhausted. Great attitudes and clean facilities. I would love to see an expansion to this USO location. They were full up this day, thank you for having this available to us! TSgt Angela Santiago Otero, USAF"
Pros: "Good assortment of entertainment"
Cons: "Delayed so long we missed our connecting fligh. Then we’re left with no hotel room as everything was booked in Miami for the holiday weekend. It was a mess"
Cons: "Start boarding with the last row, not the 1st row - so people settling into the 1st rows do not hold up the people trying to reach the higher numbered rows."
Cons: "Rude attendant"
Pros: "Price, new plane, interactive system"
Pros: "Crew was great, boarding went well, smooth flight."
Cons: "On a 5+ hour flight, they only served soft drinks and a small biscotti. What happened to an actual meal??"
Cons: "Meh"
Cons: "Horrible - Flight was diverted to IAD for no legitimate reason. Rebooked out of DCA with no travel vouchers. Most likely never booking with American Airlines again."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Miserable food. Just horrible quality. Truly - and I'm not picky."
Pros: "Little"
Cons: "Mechanical issues, late late late, bad communication, no apologies or compensation for huge waste of time."
Pros: "Everything lined up perfectly"
Pros: "Nice Jet."
Cons: "During boarding, we were pulled out of the line. The attendant that diverted us did not explain why he diverted us. Our boarding passes were printed by our hotel as were many others that we saw. We went to a desk where another individual started asking question about our life and where we were going. Still, no one thought it was necessary to explain what part of the process or what exactly is going on. The man that diverted us, I'll bet, does not have reasons or any idea why he diverted us. I hate to think that he did it because we were Black Americans."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled we were re-routed and didn't get there until 24hours later."
Cons: "The airline did not inform us that the flight lands and passengers would need to travel by bus to the terminal. Just a surprise. I would like to know when booking the flight."
Pros: "Great service by flight crew"
Cons: "Seat cushions"
Pros: "I understand that the breakfast cookies are economical, and many people enjoy them, but can we add some variety or switch things up sometime, pleeeeease. My kids love the cookies. thanks Jesse"
Cons: "The cookies"
Pros: "Legroom"
Pros: "My wife and liked the food selection during both flights. We also liked how one of five flight attendants actually seemed to enjoy their job. And also how that one flight attendant made sure we were taken care of."
Cons: "Initially upon arriving in phili, my wife and I boarded the plane and I walked on the plane first than immediately my wife was asked by a flight attendant if she was supposed to be on the flight without any explanation at all, it was weird and disheartening. Also other than one flight attendant actually seemed to enjoy what they were doing, and I am a big customer service man, and some of the attendants didn't seem to care AT ALL at many points, very disappointed. Also he plane that we took out of the United States to go to Ireland was very small, and the plane to return us to the states was very small as well. The flight from our connection in phili to go to Charlotte was the biggest plane we had, just for a two hour ride.. really disaipointsd with American Airlines."
Cons: "Due to mechanical issues our 8am flight kept getting delayed in 30 minute increments until around 9:45 when the front desk attendants told us the necessary part had to be driven from Seattle and wouldn't be available until noon, and that their was no certainty the part would work, and that we should make other arrangements. So we did, but their earliest we could get us into Chicago was 9:30pm (original arrival was 2pm). We booked the arrangements only to find out that our original flight took off at 10:55 and American didn't even attempt to contact us. The cherry on top was that our flight (which was indirect through SFO) got delayed and we're now going to miss our connection in SFO. So currently looking at 10:30pm arrival in Chicago."
Pros: "It was all good . I enjoyed the service. Was friendly . Take off and landing went well . The plane was awesome. The temperature in the plane stayed the same . Not to hot or cold . I travel alot for my job . I half to say , this was a great crew ."
Cons: "I honestly can't come up wirh something I didn't like ."
Cons: "We had purchased the tickets months before flying - It was Quantas, but we flew on American and Alaska- no one seemed to talk to each other - not one site had the complete itinerary. Took hours of phone calls and a lot of anxiety before we completed the trip. I used my American airline frequent flyer card and even though we flew over 14000 miles, we got credit for 500."
Pros: "Had a airline steward named Scott that was very pleasant and nice all throughout the flight."
Cons: "The plane was late/delayed going from Dallas to Colorado and the plane going from Colorado back to Dallas was late/delayed as well ."
Pros: "Bottom tier entertainment provided"
Cons: "Advertised wifi not functional. Limited TV access (1 8" tv for every 12-16 seats) poor programming random NBC clips and partial episodes) and terrible movie. No selection/plane tracker"
Pros: "Like I said before the crews were on time. The seats were comfortable and big enough. Everyone on the crew were very nice and made sure we were informed of procedures."
Cons: "There is nothing I can say negative."
Pros: "Everything"
