The crew members were just okay ,but the food and entertainment need to be improved

No properly information for gat at Tanzania airport, on board written c7 so we were waiting c7 gate, suddenly our name is announce that gate c9 is waiting for us, so thats pooorrr communication

As I have already sent the messages to the head of Air Tanzania regarding the money they made us take at the airport it is pure scam they took more than $300 so that he let us enter the plane and the reason because we have Burundian passports! For foreigners I strongly advise you not to trust this agency

The airline cancelled my flight and as a result I had to book thru another airline. Furthermore, I forfeited $20 with kayak.

Pre booking seats via Kayak was useless. We paid for seats near the wing as soon as we purchased the flight. When it came to allocating boarding passes ( 48hrs before departure) our seats were already taken and we ended up pretty much at the back of the plane . Kenya Airways were more interested in getting you to upgrade your seat rather than honour the ones purchased.

Service on the airplane is good. Food is acceptable. Going through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after arriving from Entebbe International Airport in Uganda was tedious and redundant. We had to board a bus that took us to the airport where we went up an escalator. Then went downstairs to go through security., removing shoes, belt, watch, etc. TSA no longer requires shoes removal since July 8, 2025. That took a while then the next step was getting to Gate 19. There they had another security station which was redundant. I asked the security official why do I have to go through another security detail when I just spent all my time after arriving going through security only to come here and face another redundancy. They are using the new CT machine and the Leidos screening machine not the old magnetometer. The security had me remove my belt, my watch, etc. This particular machine does not require people to remove their belts and watches. Apparently the security officials are not properly trained on the CT and Leidos machines. For this reason I will try to go through Europe when going to Uganda than having to fly through Nairobi JKIA. The security officer said I should file a complaint. I'm not the only person who feels this way. Travel should be an adventure not an opportunity to torture travelers with redundant security checks that are nothing more than a waste of the travelers' time.

We paid for comfort economy The seats did not recline Staff and crew was not at all helpful

It was good ,I enjoyed it also crew were very respectful and patient waiting people parking their belongings.

boarded in a mannerly process, Departed on time, the pilot pointed out my. Kilimanjaro, snack and drink provided-great 1 hour flight

Overall good experience but for long distances there really needs to be more room.

there really needs to be more room with each seat for such a long flight.

The plane was delayed almost three hours because boarding was unorganized then we were delayed even longer because the plane had an issue. The plane didn't look well maintained, there was also alot of tape on the exterior. I won't fly kenya air ways again after this trip.

Our luggage was supposed to be checked through from Arusha to Cape Town. We didn't know that it was a self transfer in Johannisburg. Kayak should not have sold this flight combination with out a self transfer alert.

Good flight. Paid for seats sat the frront section of the economy. Better than rear cabin.

The experience I had was horrible. The plane was 3 + hours and we got notification on route to the airport. It should have been sooner. Once on the flight everything was okay until we landed and ended up at the transfer desk. They did not provide us anything but discouragement. We were bounced around the Nairobi airport for 8 hours and not being provided any solution. It was finally 19 1/2 hrs that we finally had some progress and got on a flight to Brussels however our luggage is still sitting in Nairobi. Please forward our luggage. Air Canada has made a request to forward our luggage.

There was complete confusion about which desk (no signage) for check in, people cutting the lines cause bad feeling (but no attempt to organize people), very vague instructions about a health visa for Nairobi - did anyone need it? - every check in took way too long, 15 minutes or so, so slow not helped by a lack of language skills (other than Swahili). Any query took all three attendants (one of them was just watching anyway). The flight was then 6 hours late but information was only slowly and intermittently given. And my checked case (despite all this extra time) did not make it to Nairobi so at this moment I don’t know where it is.

Please can they offer actual food on the flights and not just snacks

They changed my checked in seat and when I requested the same seat they said it’s taken. I was not happy with that. I should be given the same seat I assigned when I checked in online.

Overall a very comfortable trip. Boarding process could have been more organized. The food could be better. Crew is excellent!

Staff was very pleasant. Flight was delayed but information on delay was not clear.
