I really like to fly with Lufthansa. It is comfortable and reliable. The crew are polite and sensitive
Lufthansa is turning into a budget airline. On transfers, the luggage never arrives if you have less than 2 hours for the transfer. This is happened to me multiple times when I end up on flights serviced by Lufthansa. The first leg of the flight was serviced by Discover Airlines. It was a 3-hour flight and they only offer a glass of water. Everything else is for purchase. I purchased my ticket as economy which should have included a bag but it ended up booking as economy light so I had to pay for a bag in each direction.
I purposely bought a seat upstairs and your airline moved it to a random aisle seat. The only good part about this being an older plane was that the seats weren’t so tight that I couldn’t relax at all. Still will never fly Lufthansa again.
Crew was great. But my flight was late arriving and as a result, I missed my connecting flight to Richmond. I had to catch a later flight. On a positive note, the attendants at the counter were extremely helpful in booking my later flight. They book my on the next flight to Richmond.
Safety which is #1 was great. Food choices was not always great and often ran out of choice meat before getting to back of economy. Had one staff member who was just rude otherwise everyone was quite pleasant especially with the job they have to do!
The food that was served was superb!!! Awesome snacks!!! Frequent drink service!!! To me, this was shocking. I took a British Airways flight from Denver to London for the first leg of my trip and the food was horrendous. Thank you for keeping us fed and satiated on such a long flight!!!!
The crew was very professional, no food was served. The flight was delayed which impacted my connection at Frankfurt to Chicago… It was very stressful because it was out of my control. Had I missed my connection, it would have been extremely disruptive and inconvenient as I would have had to make other arrangements to fly to the United States.
Good legroom. Attentive crew. Wine quality poor, you can do better
Business class was roomy and comfortable however, the entertainment screen was very dark and hard to see.
Our seat numbers took a long time to be given to us. We were not seated together and I was put in the middle seat with both people on either side of me taking too much space!
