Cons: "Let me just say that I’m a loyal Delta costumer until now. The flight attendants (the two women) were an absolute nightmare. They were so rude and condescending. I was carrying with me my service dog and a bag containing an expensive medication (it couldn’t go on the top bin). Despite being in the comfort class and having the seat next to me empty, we were tight for space. The flight attendants were unreasonable and forced me to put my medication on the top bin despite the fact I had told them it was extremely delicate, that it that to go upright, and that I needed to keep it with me. They did not listen and pressured me into giving them the medication. The medication could have easily gotten broken. Thankfully it didn’t but this is no way to treat a human being."

My daughter flew into Houston, the flight was late getting in to LA, by two hrs, missed her connecting flight to San Luis Obispo, her sister had to drive down 4hrs to pick her up and drive back because she had work! Not happy!!!!"

Cons: "United destroyed my luggage and wouldn't pay for their mistake. I checked in the second I could (exactly 24 hours before the flight), and I was still put in boarding group 5. Because I was in boarding group 5, I had to check my back, which would have been carried on, and was subsequently destroyed by United baggage handlers. To try and rectify and complain about the luggage problem, I called United and they were completely unhelpful. Finally, the first flight was delayed and moved to a different plane, that was a total nightmare!"

Sure, I got my ticket price back - only after arguing with them that the reason that I should get my full ticket back (instead of just the leg to Minnesota) is because THEY cancelled on ME."

Would have been bumped off the plane if there had not been any "no shows" since Spirit boards by the passenger number. Highest can get bumped and my number would have been lower if I was able to check in the night before. Not my fault. This is a risk I can't accept."

Cons: "Everything. Not only was the flight's departure delayed by two hours, but once we were finally able to board the flight, the a/c wasn't working. After taxiing aimlessly for 45 minutes in the Dallas summer sun with no air conditioning, the pilot announced we would have to return to the gate so that "the engine could be started". Fortunately, at this time, the air conditioning was also repaired. After an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes of repairs, taxiing and waiting, we finally departed after a total delay of 3 hours. Upon landing in New Orleans, we were forced to wait for an additional hour while we waited for our gate to clear. All in all, we arrived 4 hours after our initial arrival time, and spent 3 hours on a plane for a 1 hour and 8 minute flight."
Pros: "Some of the flight attendents were hilarious! It almost (not quite) makes up for their poor service."
Cons: "They cancelled our flight on the way back, which happens a lot I understand. The earlist flight they could give us was more than a week later, and they offered no other solutions. We ended up spending twice as much as we were given back for our cancelled flight in order to get home. Not only were they not helpful in finding this flight (my husband had to run around the airport looking for a flight home) but they also could not confirm the amount that would be refunded when we called back later. They also give you a lot of hidden fees (i.e. $90 for a carryon rountrip)."

Cons: "Spirit loves to tout "unbundled" fares, but a lot of that is just a way to hide the true cost of flying (versus paying upfront with a regular airline). We chose Spirit thinking we would save ~$100/ticket, but after bags and a decent seat we ended up in a plane with no TV's and poor check in (No Pre-Check capability?!?)"
