Cons: "We took two United flights today.... Both were delayed... Really annoyed by it. Took Delta and AA some days ago without a hickpup."
Pros: "Crew was friendly, food was delicious and flight was nice and smooth!"
Pros: "On time departure and arrival. Bags arrived"
Cons: "No leg room, crowded, warm"
Pros: "Carole was excellent"
Cons: "The fact that they give all first class passengers dibs on the hot food and that leaves NOTHING for the folks in economy plus. The FA said that they only had a limited amount anyway. I was willing to purchase that buy high food cuz I was hungry instead I filled up on water and ginger ale and went to sleep on the 4 1/2 hour flight."
Pros: "The marvel of flying. Hurling through the air in a metal tubeZ amazing. We got there safe and on time. That’s what I liked about United. Oh and there was a CSR that was helpful in changing to an earlier flight."
Cons: "Plane was dirty. Bathroom disgusting. Crew just trying to get through the work day. Seats too close and REAL uncomfortable. Like sitting on a plastic frame with a piece of fake leather over it. Entertainment was awful. Oh wait, non existent since it was an “out of country” flight so there was no access to movies (that you had to PAY for). Otherwise you got to watch Matthew Perry in some taxi game show over and over and over and over on a monitor in your face that couldn’t be shut off. United is my last choice in airlines. But we did get to the destination safe and on time."
Pros: "Punctual flight, fabulous flight attendants, and the best airline food I’ve eaten in a long time. I can’t remember the last time passengers were given a menu to order food from ."
Cons: "No WiFi on board"
Pros: "All of it was good."
Cons: "Nothing."
Pros: "Got in early and we were stuck on the runway for a bit. Good flight otherwise."
Pros: "Landed early, decent price"
Cons: "Not allowed to bring on carry on in basic economy which was not obvious at booking, seats very tight and little legroom"
Pros: "Everything went as planned."
Cons: "Better customer service."
Cons: "The flight was supposed to arrive in Greenville at 6:41 pm, we never arrived until after 11 am."
Pros: "The flight attendant and getting to the location early!"
Cons: "United in general"
Pros: "Crew was friendly"
Cons: "Small plane. 70 minute delay. No entertainment."
Cons: "Flight was delayed arriving to Greenville and was only informed 10 minutes before boarding in Newark. Flight was delayed another three hours leaving from Greenville. It's as if United books flights on a planned delay and they CANNOT DO THAT. My husband and I go on at least 11 trips a year and I will make sure that I pay extra to go on another airline that is reliable!!"
Cons: "The flight was delayed and rescheduled four times. The two guys working at the counter had no clue what was going on."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Couldn't even get me a slightly better seat given all the hassles I'd been put thru up to that point."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Attitude of gate agent, crews. Boarding penalizes all but highest level and they've demoted me since the merger and erased my 30 year history with UAL. Watched them mishandle a paraplegic passenger until another passenger swapped seats. Last choice for me."
Pros: "Even though I was on connecting flights and weather sounded like it might interfere, that was not the case. Each flight went smoothly and easily. It was a fantastic travel day."
Pros: "This flight was a complete change. We boarded quickly and I and took off on time."
Pros: "Super friendly funny attendant"
Pros: "Horrible"
Pros: "See above... United is the worst airline out there!"
Pros: "They moved me to a seat right behind business class with more leg room I got a text message about the delay with reason and time. the airplane was new."
Cons: "We had a delay because of some other planes"
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "All three seats were purchased together and we were all split up in different rows, 3 hr flight and you have to pay for any movie with only a selection of tv clips to try and induce you to spend $"
Pros: "Had the ability to connect in my phone to the app for free in-flight entertainment. Other United flights will have the TV in the headrest but charge you for wifi or to watch TV or movies."
Cons: "Our flight got delayed 3 hours (which I understand happens) but they boarded group 1 individually, group 2 individually, then combined groups 3, 4, and 5 in the same line. I was in group 3 but was stuck behind people in other groups. Also, they ran out of room in the overhead storage which is frustrating when you're flight is already pushed out to a later time - the last thing I want to do at 1:00 am is wait for my luggage because it had to be checked. People brought on carry-on suitcases along with 1 personal item which were huge tote bags or backpacks. There's got to be a way to monitor overhead storage for items like that - if it's the size of a carry-on, they should need to check their suitcase. The snack was lack-luster. I went on a 5-hour flight to Seattle a few months ago and one cookie with no protein is hardly filling for that long of a flight."
Cons: "Horrible service and attitude. United is a nightmare."
Pros: "Some things about the flight were normal."
Cons: "Our incoming flight was late arriving at Dulles. We bolted from that flight to the gate for our connecting flight to GSP. Two of our party of six made it and got onboard telling staff we were coming. We arrived moments later - moments later! - but were denied access because they said we were a minute late. Our small plane was just outside the door with access door still open and staff going in and out. Next flight was 5 hours later. We asked to speak to a supervisor and that was ignored until we demanded attention. The supervisor came 1.5 hours after we were denied plane access. Customer concern was nonexistant on this day."
Pros: "Plane was on time"
Cons: "I am 5'4" and had no leg room. My knees touched the seat in front of me the whole time. The in seat entertainment was broken on the entire plane for the flight. Simply won't ever fly in a plane so cramped ever again."
Pros: "The Argentinian lady that help us at the counter. She safe us from missing the flight."
Cons: "The long waiting with customs and that the connection were too far away to drop the baggage"
Pros: "Delayed for navigation issues and flight attendants weren't very friendly"
Cons: "See abow"
Cons: "70min connection and luggage took 40 min so had to rebook. Destination 100min late so not awful after 32hr flight but difficult at the end of all that."
Pros: "Entertainment choices were varied"
Cons: "A cross country flight with no meal service- not even for purchase."
Pros: "The crew was friendly."
Cons: "Boarding 3 times. Had to deplane two times because of maintenance. Sat on tarmac for an hour before deplaning the second time."
Pros: "CSR people were very nice"
Cons: "I took this flight based on the schedule because I needed to be back home after being gone for 21 days for a very important for some very important events with my wife and family I had already been delayed one day by my employer to find out that I'm delayed in O'Hare by united airlines for over two hours crammed into a airplane like a bunch of sardines no place to upgrade the service was horrible the flight was horrible in O'Hare is horrible"
Pros: "The flight was really nice! The flight was good comfortable and relaxing. Went to sleep and I never sleep o flights."
Pros: "United greeted at check in at airport"
Cons: "The terminal was very hot and overcrowded"
Pros: "N/A"
Cons: "N/A"
Pros: "Crew members were very nice despite the delay they were able to bounce back with warm smiles"
Pros: "Excellent choices, comparisons, easy to use, updates"
Pros: "New plane, clean and blankets for the overnight flight"
Cons: "I was in the 4th boarding group (even though I checked in the first possible moment), I had to put my belongings 15 seats away from me."
Pros: "Again this flight was under booked so there was plenty of room for people to sit where they wanted and be comfortable."
Cons: "My layover in DC was nearly non existent due to the flight from Detroit to DC was a bit delayed, but only by 30 mins at the very most. But what I did not like is that my electronic boarding pass I was using on my phone had become expired for some reason, saying my flight had already left the gate as SOON as I landed in DC, but the flight listings said my flight was on time. I then had to visit a customer service desk for them to check what was going on, to check my flight and print me my boarding pass, but they said "I need to hurry"... I JUST LANDED! I then had to hastily make my way to the other side of the terminal just to make the flight that I should have had just over an hour layover for. Was not happy!"
Pros: "I liked that the seats were comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly"
Cons: "Everything was great!"
Pros: "That I reached my destination safely."
Cons: "That in addition to paying for my flight, which was already a good chunk of change, I now have to pay for my checked luggage, though it was under weight, have to pay for my entertainment, have to pay for my food, so what the hell did I pay for when I booked my flight? I'm sure you'll say fluid, maintenance, salary, etc... But I don't buy it. And the seating space is reduced....so not comfortable, and more people per capita, equals more money. Left a bad taste in my mouth. UA will be on the bottom of my list for airlines to fly on."
Pros: "United simply doesn't care about their passengers. They treat us as cattle, can actually fly in-schedule, have filthy terminals, and nickel & dime passengers at every turn! They charge me $125 for a bad just slightly over 50 lb. and then couldn't even get it there on-time in spite of the flight being delayed. Truly incompetent. All United execs want to do is screw the passengers at every turn, while flying cramped old aircraft, while they OVERPAY THEMSELVES MILLIONS while giving passengers The Bird!"
Pros: "Was stuck on hold with United airlines for 4 hours and was not able to get and good flight to where I was headed to with my military leave"
Pros: "I liked the ice with the Diet Coke I recieved thanks"
Cons: "My knees jammed into the seat in front of me! The least amount of legroom I've ever experienced ! My flight was already 730$ I guess you expected me to pay 97$ plus more $ to have a satisfactory seat assignment, sorry I thought I paid enough already"
