The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

We are four family members so they given last row of flight which are not so comfortable

Very disorganised and inefficient boarding procedure compounds the disorganised nature of the Indore airport. Crew announced that a system would be followed based on those passengers that paid for expedited boarding, those with children and those in the military etc. However the system was not implemented. Not sure why IndiGo does not use and enforce zonal boarding. A/C not working on bus transporting passengers to aircraft and information system indicating flight information not working either. Given this leg happened after sunset there was very poor lighting on boarding ramps at both Indore and Mumbai.

Flight got delayed and was declared before half an hour. It’s not fair with those who are loyal with Indigo.

Perhaps providing a menu would have helped as it was my first time onboard and I did not know what was being served.

This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

The following day, knowing that I was departing back to the United States miraculously my bag showed up at the airport the same time as my minimum required check in time."

If AsiAsia are going to keep to this 7kg hardline they really need to do it across all airports and do it during the document check so the number of queues costumers are subjected to are minimized. I did purchase extra weight when purchasing the ticket however that weight MUST be in checked bags only. No margin here for discussion. Perhaps HotSeat passengers are less scrutinized??? This all may be just some transitional pains here and other airlines may follow the same model but in my 200+ flights on Nok Air this has NEVER happened. In fact, they (Nok) have NEVER weighed my carry on bag. Such a shame as the rest of the flight experience was above average. This hardline approach will be an issue if they continue until they beat their customers into taking or leaving it in my opinion. First AirAsia flight for me so the vets reading this will be smiling quietly to themselves ;-)"

We were told to check in online and add baggage at least two days before flying to avoid excessive baggage fees. So we paid them the first time, no problem. But AirAsias website is clearly coded by bricks with fingers. Because 6,5,4, and 3 days prior, it says such service is unavailable. Okay, we’ll do it at the airport then, it’ll be nice and easy just like at Changi. Only at this crappy subpar excuse for an airport, they live by no rules and want to charge $300USD - more than double what was charged at Changi - for two 20kg bags. 20kg, which my boarding pass and my booking both say we are entitled to, is suddenly 5kg in excess, so they want to screw your American wallet hard, long, and good because even if you had a good time, chances are you will never pass through the half baked gas station that is Langkawi again. Oh yeah and don’t bother paying for the WiFi - they get you good there too - 10mb which is basically a couple jpegs but you won’t get squat anyway. Literally nothing, and then suddenly your puny 10mb has disappeared, along with your money and what’s left of AirAsias credibility."

Pros: "On time flight. Pleasant attendants"
Pros: "Cabin crew were proactive, hard working and super friendly. Upgraded to "hot" seats at check in without charge. Wide range of food and beverages available despite being a short 1.5 hour flight. Aircrafts were clean and well maintained. Both flights landed either on time or early despite weather issues."
Cons: "Check in process, hidden fees, unworkable app for iPhone. I tried to use the app to check in and pay for a bag, it didn't allow me and I had to pay the much more expensive fee at the airport to check the bag. App in general didn't work well at all, it never showed the return leg journey so I couldn't make any amendments to the booking. Check in process took ages in Langkawi, only two desks open for all of AK's flights. None of the self service kiosks were working despite being advertised as functioning."

Cons: "Bag fees not clear and totally unreasonable, no way to check in or check bags online unless you register with their nosy BIG Points. Late by 1.5 hours! Can't get ANYTHING to eat or drink without paying in local currency cash, not even water. Seats squished together and really uncomfortable. Baggage takes a long time to come out. Poor wayfinding at Kuala Lumpur Airport."

Pros: "Air Crew was polite. Ground crew was the slowest and most inefficient group of people I've witnessed. There'd be 3 people working, but 2 of them would be talking to each other, letting the queues build up."
Cons: "Ground experience was pretty terrible at the airport. Most likely I'd avoid flying through here again."
Pros: "The crew were super patient (a must when dealing with the quality of passengers from Trichy who were lacking in manners and etiquette)."
Cons: "Boarding was chaotic. The majority of passengers seem to not be used to the normal manners and etiquette of queuing and it was chaotic with pushing. Some discipline and order needs to be enforced by ground crew (and this will no doubt make the cabin crews' lives easier)."

Pros: "The flight was smooth despite bouts of turbulence. The crew ensured everyone was strapped in and the pilot made a prior announcement before flight take-off. Most Pilots don’t."
Cons: "The check-in process took extremely Long as there were only two counters open. The boarding process was a joke. Despite the announcement to board by rows, there was no enforcement whatsoever and it was free for all."

Cons: "I paid for priority boarding but could not find the queue easily to check in as well as there was no priority boarding line up during boarding. My seat did not decline at all. I paid for a window seat but got a completely blank wall. Flights were late."

Cons: "Seating configuration in economy very small. My Husband is a tall, big man and was cramped by the seat pitch, which made his trip very uncomfortable. To think that we have to pay for such an essential item to life as WATER, when it is free on most other airlines....or at the very least you can get a glass of water. I couldn’t believe the charge price for a tiny bottle of water and the fact that you can’t even get a glass of water either. This is an outrage and a rip off to customers."

Cons: "They had 0 entertainment on an 8 hour flight. Tv turned off. One small meal after 20 minutes of flying. Would not fly with scoot again."

I can only eat fish but they dont have it on their menu so i brought my own food but the crew asked me to stop eating it because it was not allowed. Im hungry and tired and was upset that time."

Cons: "There was absolutely no complimentary service at all, a bit unusual compared to flights we've taken in the past (domestic and international). No offer of free water, what's up with that?!?! There was no entertainment on board for an overnight flight, no blanket, no pillow. And on top of that we paid too much to check in a bag when we arrived at the airline desk because we didn't include it through our Kayak booking. Had we known there was a method to follow, we would have to avoid the excessive fee."

Paid for priority boarding: No priority security queue, no priority boarding. Paid for priority baggage: Took 60 minutes from landing for baggage to arrive. No priority, except for crew bags. Food was disgusting. Hard to determine where the plastic finished and the pasta started. There was no service, other than dumping a hot plastic box in your lap."

Boarding was painfully late and slow. As we arrived in the early hours of the morning the cost of taxis were double the normal price. Still no compensation as promised by the airline when they initially advised us of the late flight. Could do a lot better."

Cons: "After boarding started there was no Aircon the flight was boiling hot and hugely suffocated. Also so many mosquito surely need better service."
Cons: "Boarding was quite messy as flight was delayed but many passengers were not informed. Only one service officer was being bombarded with questions from passengers when it would save so much trouble just making a proper announcement in the first place. Boarding queue also merged with another flight departing at a similar time, causing a massive bottleneck. Whilst on board, pre-ordered food was not served with cutlery and it took another 15 mins to get the attn of the stewardess to get the cutlery served. Would have been faster to just get it myself."
Pros: "It's a no frills airline! Plane on time, clean, arrived on time. What more do you want?"
Cons: "An hour and half delayed without prior notice. So i had to wait at the gate."
