Their response was “ I made announcements overhead. Didn’t you hear?”. Appalling endangering customers and disregarding Federal, State, and local policies."

Cons: "I sat in row 8, a main cabin extra row, just behind first class. The MCE seats are supposed to have a few extra inches but I actually had less room than if I sat in regular economy. The reason is because the wall behind first class comes straight down and prevents you from fully extending your feet. Newer layouts have a small cut out or stop the wall short of the floor so you can fully extend you legs."

Several people weren't given seat assignments until time to board, even if other people in their party were assignments seats when checking in. No ecplanaation of why. In flight entertainment was an older movie. No options, and no sound if you forgot your own headphones."

Cons: "We arrived at St Stomas airport 85 minutes profile to our flights departure. The female manager, Latoya, at the desk was overly rude and completely out of line the way she was speaking to guests. Apparently American Airlines requests 90 minutes before departure to check you in, however their website does say they will try to accomadate customers that have arrived late. This employee refused 24 people access to the flight that we had booked and paid for. She related that she could put everyone on standby for the next and final flight out of Saint Thomas and standby for multiple connecting flights from Miami to many different parts of the country. This is because American Airlines over books their flights on purpose and has no problem leaving people stranded at an airport. Another employee related that it was easily accomplished to confirm is for the flight as we would have plenty of time prior to boarding since the aircraft had yet to arrive from its original location. American Airlines would not speak to any of the paid customers and would not look into other flights to see if there were other options to get customers home. When we boarded the plane there were still 4 customers that American Airlines stranded at the airport with no more flights out of the airport that day. This was an absolute disgrace and it was disgusting to see how the American Airlines staff were treating people. Their companies customer service has nothing to say other then sorry. I will never fly American Airlines again and now know why so many other people also feel this way."

Cons: "This was a horrible travel experience, the worst I have ever known. My uncle had died, so I had to search for the soonest and most economical flight in order to attend the funeral. Traveling with me was my aunt (his ex wife) and my cousin (his only daughter). Our initial flight was delayed 'due to mechanical issues' and they said we weren't going to make our connection in Phoenix. So they had to reroute the whole trip, which took about half an hour because all of the flights were full. So instead of flying from LGB - PHX - CLT - CAE and arriving Saturday night, we ended up departing from LAX (which we specifically were trying to avoid) almost 9 hours later. From there to DEN - CLT - GSP arriving Sunday morning. Because of this I had to contact the hotel and let them know that we weren't going to check-in until the next day, but I still ended up having to pay for Saturday night. Then, I had to cancel the rental car and make a new reservation to pick it up at GSP and return at CAE since the hotel was close to CAE, plus the return flight was through CAE. Also, wifi was an additional cost (which we didn't use because of this), the snacks were pitiful, and the seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. I have flown with JetBlue in the past, but on this occasion, last minute flights to South Carolina were prohibitively expensive. That being said, if I had known how bad the experience with American was going to be, I would have gladly paid literally double the price for the JetBlue tickets. And in the future, I will be flying exclusively with JetBlue no matter what the cost."

They book me another flight which has more connections. When I was waiting for my next flight there were actually more flight going and direct to Geneva before my flight. I even ask the gate personel if There is more seats avilable for one of those flight before my flight. They said yes but because I had a luggage it will take time to transfer my luggage and they will end up being delayed. United airlines is HORRIBLE!!! My flight were delayed and with that they should have more consideration for those costumers who were delayed. But instead of being kind and considerate. They had book me a later flight and the worse thing is the itenerary had more connections. Very Exhausting. The other costumer when we were in the line at the costumer service desk some people were given flight which are like 12 hrs away. How Horrible service. I WILL NOT FLY WITH UNITED AIRLINES AGAIN. Very POOR SERVICE."

Pros: "The econmy class seat was just fine for a cross atlantic flight from Chicago to Paris and I am almost 60! Good entertainment and service. Seats were comfortable. Language was not a barrier. Good value because it was non-stop and a no hassle plane changing circus! Thanks."

I was at the back of the plane and there was NO fresh food available once the flight attendants reached the last 6-10 rows. Unacceptable that there is not enough food options for all passengers. By the time I landed in Panama, I had not eaten for 13 hours."

Cons: "I was put into a very uncomfortable situation when we finally got boarded and situated in our seats. I was in the window seat of a three seat row. The two men in the center and aisle seats knew each other and struck up a little conversation during boarding but it was a late flight and I was gearing up for some sleep in my seat. I fell asleep after take off and when I woke up the guy in the center seat had taken his shirt off and nearly had his pants down to his knees. Him and his buddy were both asleep, but half-naked-man was a much more mobile sleeper and was constantly rolling his head onto my shoulder to sleep on which I pushed him off many times. Now, someone accidentally falling asleep on you on a plane is one thing; a half-naked-man rolling his body onto yours is a complete other thing. I couldn't really get him to wake when I was pushing him off me so I was kind of hoping someone was gonna come by and tell him to get his clothes back on and pull it together; that never happened. On top of not being able to keep his own body in his own seat he must have been having a very interesting dream because he was having a hard time keeping his hands off of his private parts. Being a man, I was not incredibly grossed out by this (although not what I want to be seeing when I'm on a flight), but it doesn't make it any less sexually offensive. I don't fly that often but I find it hard to be believe that this could be considered acceptable behavior to be tolerated when paying for a plane ticket. To cap it all off, when we were landing and the flight attendants were roaming the aisles to check seat belts and stuff, no one seemed to care that this guy was topless and touching himself. One Flight Attendant asked his friend (the guy in the aisle) to tell him to "prepare to land" which he didn't do. It wasn't till we landed and the seat belt sign went off that his friend woke him up and he put his clothes back on. They had a good chuckle about it as if nothing happened. Kind of put me out. I took a picture of them in full slumber with his clothes off if you guys want evidence."

Bathrooms were like at a swanky night club! Comfy chairs and charging outlets every where. The biggest hit was the Exploratorium installation, which kept my and plenty of other kids entertained!"

Wow a la verdad q nos vieron la cara de bobos y nos cojieron de bobos tambien. Q trato mas injusto. No volveremos a viajar por AMERICAN AIRLINES asi mismo le dejaremos saber a todo el mundo el trato de esta linea con los pasajeros. Gracias a esto nos agravamos la espalda, costillas. Por culpa de ellos por tratarnos como basura. Eso no se hace!!!! Despues q estabamos sentados en el avion el piloto no llegaba y nos tuvieron q bajar del avion, esperar a que llegara otro piloto para volvernos a montar en el avion!!! Q mala coordinacion!! Esto es una falta de respeto!! Esta linea AMERICAN AIRLINES ES UNA PORQUERIA!!! No volvemos a viajar por esta linea JAMAS!!! Irresponsables!!"

Pros: "United's flight crew was very courteous and accomodating. At a time where customer service overall has taken a noticeable step back in most industries, it was nice to receive good service. Especially considering I was traveliing with my family of five (3 kids under 11)."
Cons: "While I understand this is not specific to United Airlines, I've flown now for about 40 years and this incessant need to monetize EVERYTHING on a flight is just frustrating. I am a 6'2", fit man and I'm not able to get a coach seat with leg room without paying an additional premium...in BOTH directions of my flight. This is after paying to check my FIRST bag...but before paying for any food or entertaiment i want to consume during the 3:45+ flight. Yes, charge for WI-FI; charge for alcoholic beverages, charge for OVERWEIGHT baggage. Charging for food and other items which were complementary 10 to 15 years ago is insulting."

Cons: "Flight cancelled due to weather at ohare despite the fact that many other flights were still going. First delayed, sat around for hours, then cancelled almost 3 hours post scheduled departure time. No hotel voucher provided. Rebooked, but not done correctly so when I tried to check in, it was discovered that I didn't actually have a rebooking, requiring additional calls and second rebooking."

Cons: "Food was not great. Crew was not so friendly."
