I was upgraded to a nicer vehicle so that was nice. I was charged more than the price i was given in my quote, a 4 percent credit card fee was added and an additional 21 dollars. The check engine light came on and went off twice on the drive . The front sensors went inoperable for part of the drive causing the cruise control to not work. Overall the ride was good and comfortable.
I have a major card— visa! After waiting my turn for a long period of time the rental facility (I did the pre-check in), I misunderstood that this visa debit would not work at the particular location and other locations accepting debit near me had closed though I could not have know this beforehand. I entered my card info at the time of booking days in advance so I should have know this was a problem. I ended up cancelling the reservation and this seriously impeded plans. The wording in emails is not consistently explaining “only major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc) no debit cards at this location. This card must be in the renters name.” Suggestion: There seems to be toggles and filters for so many things, how about the payment method?

Van stopped on me a mile from the place. Call roadside service it took 2 hours to send me someone. Then the they finally came it was a pop a lot car, I was in the car I needed a toll truck. The guy tried to jump start the van he couldn’t find the battery my God. The guy at the desk was not friendly at all after all that he didn’t say sorry that happened. God bless him

I reserved a convertible because we needed a parade car for my daughter. They confirmed the car in advance, but once I got there, NO CONVERTIBLE. The person working the counter was not the friendliest and acted as if it was not their problem. Very Disappointed with the whole experience.

Employee didn't know how to process my reservation with Apple Card. They were out of the type of car I reserved so gave me something very different and I didn't even know how to operate it and they didn't explain anything. I had to call Hertz to request a no-show refund because the employee just made a new transaction when he couldn't figure out how to use my actual reservation. Then all those delays with the card caused us to miss the event we were renting the car to go to so we had to waste a couple hours to do the event at a different time. It was really dissappointing.

The girl in Lafayette where I rented the car was extremely nice. The Hertz people in Nashvlle when dropping the car off were extremely RUDE. The car was ok not super comfortable but ok. The rAtes are outrageous. Also, I paI’d ahead for the car with a major credit card. You guy putting another $200 hold on my acct for days is unacceptable. I had already paid for the car. Ridiculous and I don’t like being told that AFTER I’ve already rented the car. I have insurance. No reason to do that.
