Cons: "When boarding from JFK the plane was like a Sauna. The ACs were not working till the plane took off. So for an hour we were in a hot Sauna in an A380 supposedly the best airplane that Emirates has. That has never happened in Emirates flight earlier btw"

Pros: "I love rraveling eith with Emirates. The seats are comfortable. They have good entertainment system eith a variety of choices. The attendants are polite and respectful and they do an amazing job. The food is good as well."

Cons: "I started my journey from JFK with Emirates and before booking ticket I checked with customer care representative regarding the baggage allowance and I was told that I am allowed to carry up to 55 inch . I just carried 43 inch tv weighing 19lbs and one check-in baggage weighing 21kgs and they made me pay 175$ saying that tv size is not in allowed limitations. I have also filed complaint but didn’t get any response so far . Last year my husband carried 55 inch with ethihad from same airport JFK and was not charged single penny. so I can say there is no airport restriction as well."

Cons: "Flight was initially delayed one hour, then we were asked to line up for boarding but it took another 45 minutes of standing before we were boarded. The flight ended up taking off 2 hours late. We missed our connecting flight, the meal vouchers in Dubai were for vendors that were a) shut down/no longer open and b) of terrible food quality (McDonalds!? AWFUL!)"

Cons: "My pre-selected meal choice was not always followed through with. I requested a vegan meal from their choices and, as is often the case, was provided with meals that included dairy products, which I can not eat."

Cons: "Check in process was a little slow, since they do not have self service kiosks for those who are not checking bags. However, ticket staff was very friendly and helpful. Boarding was a tad chaotic, since they do not have separate lines for each group."

Cons: "worst crew i have ever encountered in spite of repeatedly calling them they just completely ignored my calls served me wrong food and when i said i needed a veg meal they said they could only serve if it was pre-booked when i showed them my pre-booking details on my cell they agreed to serve me one. Very disinterested crew in serving the guests badly managed from my early, also the pizza slice emitrates serves is a non veg pizza its clearly written on the box preparation may include eggs fish etc.. and they did not have any substitute for the same. Multiple passengers kept on disturbing me and asking me to shift my seat even when i was sleeping and the crew did nothing about it because of this experience i would not choose to fly emirates again"

Cons: "No proper communication provided on gate about the delay. Meal voucher was given very late and hence did not make any sense. We were completely uncertain about our onward travel since no information was available till we reached Dubai which was very frustrating."

EK 202 – delayed by 24 hours Issue:FROM 3 HOURS INFLIGHT SITTING, RETURNED LUGGAGE, HOTEL FOR 4 HOURS, 12 HOURS OF WAIT TIME ON AIRPORT DOING NOTHING EK 538 – delayed by 6 hours Issue:FROM 3 HOURS INFLIGHT SITTING, 6 hours delay. I booked the flight with Emirates because of their better service even though Price doesn’t matter, but I didn’t expect this bad. No rest from Last 48 hours due to HORRIBLE experience with emirates and Flight delayed. I am surely looking for some king of refund in the ticket since it was really bad experience. It took 48 hours to reach from JFK to AMD (It supposed to be 20-22 Hours). Do you think Should I fly with emirates Again? If yes give me One reason. Thanks. Any feedback appreciated."

Pros: "Unlike most reviewers, I never have a good experience with Emirates.However, Crew (this time) was very accommodating and did their best to make this a comfortable trip."

Cons: "I requested (at least 2 months ago) for a cake for my daughters Birthday which was on July 5th. I made the request over phone calling customer service in NY. Unfortunately it was not honored. When I called 2 days before the flight departure just to verify, I was told by the telephone Representative that the request was cancelled by Emirates as it was not entered properly ( ? ). And she can not do anything about that. Though the request was entered by Emirates Employee and Emirates just cancelled the request and did not bother to notify me. My daughter was so upset and was crying , and nothing I could do to make her happy. I will never fly Emirates again."

Cons: "Something was wrong with the boarding process. Not sure what, but we were pacing on the jetway to the plane for 30 minutes or so. People were so eager to get on, but for some reason, they asked people to board in specific sections, when they weren't ready, or the people needing extra time had not gotten settled yet."

Cons: "We were not able to print the online checking ahead of time, so we had to stand in a lot of very long lines. The person printed the wrong boarding passes because they didn't know many details about domestic and international flights. There was also confusion about checking in the luggage between the domestic and international flights. A boarding pass from Dubai to Ahembadvad was not given at the New York airport."
