I paid for my luggage more than 24 hours in advance online. Website states if paid more than 24 hours in advance, the fee is $20 for one bag. I was charged $25.00 each way. Called Aeromexico and they said I had to send email to customer service. It has been 12 days and still have not received a response to my inquiry.
Cons: *Seat was broken and seat cushion was hard. No one in our row was comfortable. Was not aware that the row before exit row does not recline. We were in row 14. Fortunately there were some empty seats so we could move. Would not have chosen that seat if website shared that information. The TV screens came done from the ceiling so everyone had to watch same thing. Music channels only played a few songs over and over again. This plane needs to be retired or have major upgrades. Definitely an older plane.
Cons: I arrived one hoyr before departure. There was absolutely no one in the counter to help solve my problem. I kept calling costumer service on the phone to get help. I had a first class ticket and all I got was someone in the airport will help you. But there was no one at the counter! More rhan 2 hours on the phone and they would not even let me talk with the supervisor. All I got was wait for someone in the counter... No one ever showed.

Pros: The only positive factor about this specific flight was the staff who is very diligent and attentive to everyone.
Cons: Once we got on the plane, the pilot mentions there is a delay due to the AC not functioning but they are fixing it. We took off and the AC apparently was never fixed because it was out for the whole flight. On top of that there was basically no entertainment on flight. Those two things are basic when flying.

Cons: The flight left 15 late due to the bags needing to be moved from below up to the cabin. With only a 45 minutes connecting time, this made us nervous. We did ultimately end up making the connection because they arrived/departed out of the same terminal. I'm not sure we would have made it otherwise. The crew was a bit loud and kept bumping people on the aisle as he made his way down with the cart. The seats were hard as a rock.

Pros: The friendly co-travelers as there is no food or entertainment for people on a budget. Better than my flight TO SLC which was cancelled the first day, then delayed the 2nd day. Airport services saved my day by carting me to the connecting flight TO SLC from Denver as there was only 15 minutes to get from one end of the concourse to the other. A little difficult to run there at my age. Any chance of allowing people with connecting flights disembark first instead of last in this situation?
Cons: Due to inclement weather conditions no liquids were served. Small bottles of water would be great - less likely to spill over in bad weather and thirst would also be quenched. Lack of luggage space for those of us with the correct allowance hand luggage instead of all the extra large pieces because people don't want to go to baggage claims or pay for baggage. Truly their suitcase not paid for is the same as mine paid for. Difference is the inconvenience of having to keep my hand luggage at my feet because of the larger pieces filled by passengers in group 1, 2, and 3 over my designated seat area.

Customer service was unhelpful and rude until they found out that the issue was at the fault of united Airlines and not external circumstances.
