Pros: "Crew was helpful, worked to make the passengers feel comfortable."
Cons: "The connection didn’t allow for enough time so I missed my connecting flight. LATAM doesn’t recognize PreCheck, even though US airports do offer that but without the printout boarding pass passengers can’t take advantage of the shorter lines. LATAM also charged for both flights to check baggage instead of charging once for the whole trip."

Cons: "Crazy early. Boarding pass says gate closes by 1205 (for scheduled 1220 departure). We TOOK OFF (in air) before 1200. We got yelled at because we arrived only 1 hour early — should be 3 hours early for an “international flight”. Luggage very difficult, Must rush, etc. But everything turned out great. Scl is crazy airport — 20 minute wait for gate ramp when we got there (still 20 minutes early, instead of 40! On a 60-minute scheduled flight!). Huge long walk to immigration. Pretty long wait for bags. But it all worked out fine."

Cons: "One little cookie for snack is nothing. Planes are old. Seats are uncomfortable. The movies app doesn’t work very well and it requires subtitles available for non English speakers"
Cons: "The email we received with our reservation it included a personal belonging and carry on, however at the counter they said in their system it was not registered like that and even though we showed them the confirmation email, they charged us for the carry on."
Cons: "The flight was delayed more than an hour. The seating is super uncomfortable, a small sandwich is all we got for an almost 4 hour flight plus the delay. No entertainment on board makes it a killer. I will no longer be booking any flights with LatAm."

Cons: "After getting off the shuttle to board the plane via stairs, men at the bottom and top of the stairs both stopped everyone and refused anyone to board. We were stuck on the tarmac for around 2-3 minutes. No entertainment options during the flight. No free food. Only water."

Pros: "My three LATAM flights were all on-time, well-piloted and efficiently run. They are not responsible for airport-related issues in Lima. Taking off at over 11.00 feet and landing at sea level must be like having most of the air leak out of your tires while driving, but these guys take that in stride."
Cons: "Gate assignments in Lima tend to change and be posted late, but this is not under LATAM control."

Cons: "I hate checking in with LATAM! I swear they make up new bag rules for every person that walks up. There were people with 2 carry ones, purses, and shopping bags. But I couldn't bring 2 backpacks(school backpacks!) on. I had to check one. I HATE LATAM! Every time it is something different with them."

Pros: "The flight crew were okay. They only offer water for free, if you want food, you need to look at the pricing in the catalog. a cup of coffee for example would cost you 3000 pesos which is free if you take Copa or Avianca airlines. The seats were not comfortable either, just the same as others."

Pros: "latam airlines only wants your money, if you miss your flight they will book your seat to someone else, you will be stranded, and they will not reschedule or refund. i now live in the airpot and I sold my car for this and I just want to die now"

Pros: "I missed my flight, latam's computer was down, I stayed at the airport for 16 hours with them telling me I can't refund, I can't reschedule, pretty much they took my money and left me stuck in Houston. I waited for this day for 6 months, I sold my car, just for this trip. never flying latam"
Cons: "customer service is the worst I've ever seen in my life.. worse then any other place I've gone, they will not even try to look into your situation, they took my boarding pass and left me stuck in Houston. $1,000 put into their pocket with no service rendered. I hate my life"

Pros: "Very smooth flight. Good service and food though the items on the food tray were just the meal and a dessert snack. Other airlines have food trays with salad, fruit, the entree and a snack dessert. But as long as we get there safe and sound I am ok."
Cons: "Boarding process in Miami was chaotic. Started late as the crew reported late to the flight. Nobody knew what's going on until the gate agents made an announcement that the crew was reporting late. We departed almost an hour late."

Cons: "The services is good, but they do not do it with a smile on their face. I asked for a cup of water and both times it took them about 10 minutes to get me that cup. The crew always seems to be bothered to serve the customer. There is also a big difference between services going straight to Santiago on the 787 and to Peru on the 767. I understand the plan (767) is older and that does not bother me. What bothers me is the disparity in service between the two. I received great service the first time I traveled on LATAM, ever since then they have disappointed. I do not understand what is going on with them."

We were put in a line with only one person doing the bag checks while the other line had over two people checking bags."
Pros: "I was upgraded to premium class. On my way back from Easter Island this was perfect because I had an accident 2 days earlier and needed to out my leg up. The service was great, they maje sure you are comfortabke. The luch very delicious. Thanks for the excellent service"

Cons: "Terrible terrible food- no TV (really? in 10 years flying to Colombia this was a first) seats were very uncomfortable, no room to move the legs, the seats were super old no room at all. I have traveled with LATAM before and I had good experiences, with no complains. But the flight from Bogota to Miami on may 29th was mediocre and it seems longer than it was. That plane should be used for shorter flights and not a 4 hour international flight. I am not expecting first class seats and 5 course meals. But for the same price I could have used other airlines."

I don’t know my way around Houston airport but it seemed like we landed several kilometers from our connecting gate. Probably not something that could be avoided but aggravating nonetheless. Also I pooped on this flight and no one would have known except for the lady sitting in the back made a comment about how long I was in the lavatory (5-7 minutes?). Rude."

Also the in flight entertainment kept buffering so that it was basically unwatchable. United touts Polaris, but maybe they should concentrate on their current classes of service instead."

It was a long process but I made it and really appreciated all the work the agent on the phone did for me. When I arrived at the airport they had my resvervation but no ticket... luckily we worked it out"
Pros: "Stuck in SLC because of computer issues, was told that the flight to XNA was also delayed, wrong now stuck in Denver for another day. Hopefully we can get home tomorrow, now booked to Houston then to XNA as all united flights are sold out. . . Miserable service."
Cons: "The flight left 15 late due to the bags needing to be moved from below up to the cabin. With only a 45 minutes connecting time, this made us nervous. We did ultimately end up making the connection because they arrived/departed out of the same terminal. I'm not sure we would have made it otherwise. The crew was a bit loud and kept bumping people on the aisle as he made his way down with the cart. The seats were hard as a rock."

The answer I recieved when I called was that I had to pay 600 dollars for the change and then file a claim for possible reimbursement. The whole round trip flight only cost $250."
Pros: "The friendly co-travelers as there is no food or entertainment for people on a budget. Better than my flight TO SLC which was cancelled the first day, then delayed the 2nd day. Airport services saved my day by carting me to the connecting flight TO SLC from Denver as there was only 15 minutes to get from one end of the concourse to the other. A little difficult to run there at my age. Any chance of allowing people with connecting flights disembark first instead of last in this situation?"
Cons: "Due to inclement weather conditions no liquids were served. Small bottles of water would be great - less likely to spill over in bad weather and thirst would also be quenched. Lack of luggage space for those of us with the correct allowance hand luggage instead of all the extra large pieces because people don't want to go to baggage claims or pay for baggage. Truly their suitcase not paid for is the same as mine paid for. Difference is the inconvenience of having to keep my hand luggage at my feet because of the larger pieces filled by passengers in group 1, 2, and 3 over my designated seat area."

Cons: "Kayak did not confirm my seat. Was not able to get a flight. Called customer service and they told me to rebook. My card was charged twice. The airplane had faulted hardware. Waited in line for 2 hours to get a different flight. All flights to Phoenix were full. Didn't make the standby list. Couldn't make the rebook flight. Worst day ever Now, No one can give me a refund. mind you I took a day off from work this was a last minute. The reason this trip was so important to me is because my grandma is in the ICU. I hardly ever complain about any customer service experience. Overall to get a hold of customer service is awful."

Cons: "Downgraded plane that departed 1hr late, horrible turbulence, missed connection because 1hr late departure. Stood in customer service line for 2 hrs in vain because communication was bad. Had to pay an extra $72 for a hotel because my flight was rebooked for the next day."
Pros: "There was a wonderful man named Mr. Hanson that helped me tremendously. This was the first time ever to fly and I was tremendously scared. He made my experience wonderdul. I intend to fly more often now. Thank you for hiring someone that loves his job."

It however was not completely their fault. this first delay was then we were delayed by the arrival of the president. Can't really do much to help that. :) Most of the crew were wonderful however I encountered a very rude and abrupt crew member at the airport. I was not a fan."
