I was asked to wait for almost an hour and a half to get my documents cleared for my travel to dubai. After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Traveling by air in India in economy class is like traveling in a greyhound bus. If you are from the US and 30+ year old avoid the Economy class."

Cons: "Three things : 1) The crew seemed to be relatively inexperienced and just out of college. I observed a couple of informal communication exchanges from their part. But the crew were helpful and tried their best to provide the best customer experience. 2) The boarding process normally starts with business and premium class and then followed by economy. For my flight however the economy class was boarded first while the business class passengers were kept stranded waiting in a separate line. This also reflected the inexperience of the crew which handled the boarding. 3) Vistara was my connecting flight from Pune to Delhi followed by British airways flight from Delhi to London. Though the flights were booked under one ticket, the representative did not checkin my luggage throughout the journey due to which I had to collect my baggage at Delhi and check it in again. The representative explained that vistara still didn't have alliances with most airlines allowing luggage to be checked in till final destination. This is another front on which they can improve."

In India, some airlines like Spicejet asks you if you actually carry the credit card by which it was paired to the airline. If not, the airline will make you pay the entire fare again. He was rude, refused to call the manager and I had to pay another 400 rupees in cash. I want KIWI or you to refund my baggage fee paid by my credit card or I will take up the case with my credit card company, I will not recommend any one to do business with both KIWI.com and Spicejet.."

People started lining up to board outside the gate, but with less ground staff Food was stale.Horrible I . Overall, pathetic condition of the aircraft."

People started lining up to board outside the gate, but with no ground staff on sight. 10 minutes past the departure time, 2 personnel show up informing Pax that the flight was running an hour late. Food was stale. I would rather you not serve any food and knock off a few $$ from the fare, rather than serving distasteful and stale food. Overall, bloody pathetic condition of the aircraft."

Additionally, I asked one of the members if there was a gate change and was told I would be informed to just wait. 10 minutes later, I finally asked another crew member and was told my flight was boarding. I almost missed my flight and no one made this announcement or posted this change on the flight info screens. Furthermore, my flight was scheduled to leave at 7am. I arrived at the airport at 430am and was told I could not check-in until 530am. Therefore, I had to wait outside with my luggage."

Another passenger had broken headphones. The touch screen rarely worked and rebooted 2-3 times during the flight. Very old aircraft. I was transported back to the 90s."

Cons: "Flight carrier is very old. The equipment, There is no TV Music for entertainment. The toilets are just 2. The exhaust system is not effective enough for foul smell to be sucked out of the toilet. The Aircraft is very old and needs to be upgraded. The toilets were at the end of the aircraft so every service was interrupted by people wanting to use the washroom. If the service will tale 1 hour out of 2 and half hour flight you cant expect people not to go to the washroom. An elderly gentleman was asked to sit on the crew seat near emergency exit. It was difficult for him to eat. A group of 7 people and were separated in seats and they were not handled properly as they created a chaos in the flight. They were a big disturbance to all."

Cons: "Crew just does not have the habit of smiling. They just do not want to co-operate on simple things like getting water with a smile, or giving a meal later (if the passanger was asleep when the meal service was passing). I mean how difficult can it be to give a meal later, you leave the passanger hungry for crying out loud. And all the airlines in america do this curtesy of either waking a sleeping passanger or serve meal later to that passanger. Indian crew members are just waiting to leave the passager hungry and throw your stupid excuses. And I am an Indian, so dont call me prejudiced."
