Pros: The seats were very good. The crew was helpful and friendly.
Cons: We had a connection in Detroit. The flight from Seattle to Detroit arrived about 30 minutes late, and we barely made the connection. Apparently Delta had not told the Detroit-Boston flight to wait a few minutes for us. We did make the connection, but we arrived at the gate with no seat assignment (we had been bumped the day before from our original flight because of a mechanical problem) as the plane was loading. Had we missed the flight, we would have had to spend the night in Detroit and go to Boston the next day. Delta should have told the gate agent that we were coming.

Pros: This was a redeye flight which are never the best. We upgraded to first class for a chance to sleep. The sanitizing of the aircraft was beyond expectations. The personal wipes were a plus so we could clean the areas around our seats to our satisfaction. The individual snack bags are a great idea to minimize handling.

Cons: The plane itself and seating was filthy, some unknown substance fell on me from the vent above, there was a bunch of crumbs in the seat buckle that fell out all over my lap when I fastened it. I'm not sure the tray table was wiped down, or at least not very well. The in-flight tracker was completely incorrect, I was on a 4-hour flight and it read 14 hours and counting throughout.

Cons: Boarding was chaos. They overbooked 25? 45? Anyway, they are in panic. They tried to request ppl to take next day flight by giving away 300 gift card etc. the ppl who were told there are no seats upset and arguing at the gate. Flight was delayed for one hour. Once we are on airplane, they are still shuffling seats around, so ppl cannot move forward. Just standing there for 10mins waiting for things to settle. Flight attendants did not give us a headphone. (I have a headphone for iPhone X so I could not connect it to their entertaiment system.)
Cons: Over an hour delay before boarding due to supposedly bad weather. Because flight was overbooked they were offering $400 gift card to change to standby on another flight. If you didn’t make that flight (evening), you’d be confirmed on a flight the following morning with one stop in Detroit (we booked a nonstop to Chicago). Uh, no thanks. Then to top it off, we’ve landed and been told that it will be at least an hour before we can deplane due to no availability at the gate (it’s 1145 pm right now). All this plus their new policy of not allowing us to select our seats because we bought the cheapest tickets. Really Delta? You go ahead and cater to the rich and I’ll choose to fly with another airline.
Pros: This was our first time flying Delta and it was a very pleasurable experience. Boarding was very straight forward and the seats allocated comfortable. A surprise for us was being asked if we would like to move seats from the back of the aircraft to Comfort Economy (we think it was to do with weight balance! but appreciated very much none the less). The flight attendants were very professional and helpful, as you would hope all attendants on all airlines would be. We'd gladly fly Delta again anytime.

Cons: The flight was canceled and we were put in another flight next night. But the staff in Buenos Aires run the situation chaotically and made mistakes that infuriated many passengers. They need more training to learn how to say "I am sorry" more often and know how to avoid getting into arguments with passengers.

Cons: The flight attendants were uniformly rude and nasty to passengers from start to finish. As I boarded, I asked for a piece of art to be stored in the wardrobe compartment. This was treated as an inconvenience. During and after boarding, flight attendants addressed passengers rudely when encouraging them to take their seats in a timely fashion. Later, when my seat mate politely asked a FA to repeat the food options, she asked, "Excuse me?" several times and seemed very irritated to have to repeat the choices for him. Also, near the end of the flight, a pillow was on the ground and a FA asked those seated in my row to pick it up. We responded that it wasn't ours and she said something to the effect of, "Oh yeah? So how did it get there?" (Maybe because someone else dropped it and we didn't notice?) The FAs seemed irritated to serve passengers at all. Each time they passed through for beverage or meal service, I felt like I was imposing on them. I have never witnessed anything quite like it. Makes me wonder why they were all so upset and and felt it appropriate to speak and act disrespectfully toward customers. (Delta, do you have any insights?) I hope they all got a good night's rest after that haul.

Cons: As a Platinum AFK/KLM Skyteam member I was NOT allowed to use the Delta Lounge. On the flight the meal choice was poor and the staff were not really geared to serving regular clients. The movie choice was poor. I expected better!
Pros: Accident on way to airport, so I showed up to check bags 45 minutes before flight time. They said they couldn't get the bag to the plane..in 45 minutes? So, they put on the next flight... 6 hours later. Said I could fly without the bag... uh, no thanks. They would not look for alternatives without charging me more. Flight attendants were crabby, otherwise everything was fine. I flew British Airways a few months ago. Night and day. Seriously. Delta does not even approach having good service. There was no comparison to British Air--- Delta is not in the same league.
Pros: We had a whole row of 3 to our family, so we could put the armrests up & the kids just laid down in our row (on me, & each other) and slept most of the flight. The flight crew was very understanding and helpful with my kids who were just with me on an intl flight "daddy duty."
Cons: Since it was a flight from Seoul, Korea to Seattle; it would've been nicer if all the movies had Korean subtitles-- my 4-yo boy who only speaks Korean, couldn't make it through more than 15 mins of a movie because he couldn't understand (of course, some of that is due to age & short attention-span). But he kept saying, "I hate English" in Korean while trying to pick a movie. Also, I'm 6'2"; so while it was nice having the whole row for my kids to lay down in-- I was cramped and uncomfortable the whole flight, even moreso with Delta's seats being closer together than on other international carriers I've flown.
Cons: I needed to change my ticket and Kayak had another agency issue the ticket. Kayak does not change tickets and the third party and the airline said only Kayak could make the change. Having to purchase a whole new ticket from the airline, save the money and frustration and avoid Kayak and just book directly with the airline. The ticket would have and should have been changed with no fees. $325 lesson learned.

I ended up in the emergency exit aisle with a seat that wouldn’t recline so I was unable to sleep on my overnight flight. Also the staff at the gate showed up just 5 minutes before boarding, so I waited in line a long time to get my seat- almost an hour. I could not see the movie screen from my seat.

Cons: The online and telephone system is the worst. They never are able to confirm your seats or preferent seats . You can not use an american credit card if you are in south america. They give you a confirmation number to pay your flight ticket in "Plaza Vea" (Peru) and when you get there they told me that at only in a few "plaza veas" you can pay your ticket. I had to spend like 100 soles (30 dollars) to pay my upgrade seat. There is more Horrible experience to tell about it . Avoid LATAM

Pros: We travel with bicycles and the people at the desk were sympathic and helpful. We got charged more than what I understood from the official website but it was still decent price so didn´t say anything. We got twice the same snack on the flight of 3h30. Good thing the chocolate was good. I thought it could have been different and a bit bigger.
Cons: We flown in few electric storms, suffered from a lot of bumps, and landed in a pretty cowboy way in clear sky. Didn´t appreciate the flying at all. Felt like the pilot was either not enough eperienced either not caring about passenger´s comfort. We had to collect our luggage and bicycle boxes at transit in Buenos Aires airport. One bicycle box got bumped and a piece of bicycle was exposed. Later on after the flight, we got problems on that piece (a front wheel) because of that bump and needed to repair it. We saw how the the crew was handling our boxes : didn´t care at all and placed it in all possible positions while it should stay in the same position. We arrived at AEP at 10:14PM and had a connection flight at 4:40AM the next day. Had to collect our luggage (and huge bicycle boxes) and wait until 2AM to check-in. It was a pain to carry everything and to live all over again the check in, and to not being able to do everything allready at arrival, espacially at that time of the night.
Cons: We were delayed for 3.5 hours with no communication. We originally were told it was on time and we were boarding. After waiting in line to board they told us they didn't know when we would take off and would have more information in an hour. One hour became two hours and eventually three hours. I asked the cause for the delay and they did not give me an answer. We were in the boarding area with no food, water, wifi or electrical outlets. There was no room to sit, many people sat on the floor or had to stand. There was absolutely no communication. It was a terrible experience.
